Great place to walk in shade. Between semesters and most of summer there is little student activity so you need only check in at the entrance and walk the campus. Weekdays restrooms and water refill stations can be accessed in the main central building.

What an amazing University! Fantastic people students, and staff. Beautiful campus, terrific facilities, activities, etc., but it’s purpose and beliefs are what truly make it an amazing school.

I both attended and taught at the University. It’s a great school with wonderful faculty members who care about each student individually. Fun events for students and a great learning environment with lots of practical teaching.

Setting was beautiful, talent was outstanding, but choirs and groups sang the same type music over and over. So much screaming and jumping up and down is not everyones taste. Praising the Lord comes in different forms, some quieter and more reverant . Im so proud of the work UM does with the kids, in all areas of education. Thank you.

University of Mobile is a truly fantastic place. With an average class size of 13:1, every professor took the time to get to know me. Staff and faculty alike are warm and friendly. The school even has an open door policy which allowed me to go and speak with anyone at any time. I read that the school had the #1 dorms in the state, but I didnt believe it until I saw it for myself. They take great care of their facilities and students.

Amazing college. I have worked here for years and love the Christian atmosphere. I am so blessed to see firsthand how each student is valued. Then my daughter enrolled and I saw it through the eyes of a parent, and wow, am I so glad my daughter chose the University of Mobile. Everyone from the Financial Aid office to Rez Life to the professors really took time to get to know her and all of her classmates. The quality of education she got in English and Theology, her majors, was outstanding.

Our daughter is a freshman at UM and we have found it to be a very positive experience. Weve found the professors, deans and all administrative staff to be very kind and helpful.I believe it was rated one of the countrys 100 best education choices for the money, and I agree with that rating.I would highly recommend it.

I graduated from the University of Mobile, and now (years later) Im working at the school. Ive worked here for two years now, and I love it. The impact that this university has had on my life is profound to say the least. As a student I got to know many of the staff and faculty personally. They were always willing to work with me to find a solution to whatever problem I had. The professors always went out of their way to help me both inside and outside of the classroom. UM was instrumental in giving me a quality education coupled with a Christian worldview that I will forever be grateful for. I would highly recommend UM to anyone looking for a great college experience.

I initially thought of the University of Mobiles campus as a really great and friendly Christian place, where the people liked doing the jobs they have, but now Im not so sure. I have been to the campus multiple times, visiting my girlfriend. At first, the security men seemed like genuinely nice guys, but as time has passed, the more rude a couple of them have gotten. They seem to either sincerely hate their jobs and take out their bad attitude on other people, or treat me as if Im sort of a criminal. I dont feel comfortable on this campus anymore. I feel like Im constantly being watched and sometimes followed by certain security. I feel threatened by their presence to the point where I dont feel welcome anywhere on campus. On top of that, the cafeteria staff seemed rather rude these most recent times. They seemed like they didnt want to be here and their attitudes reflect that. There were knats stuck to brownies and one of the workers got an attitude when she was asked about when they open on Saturday. We informed her that the website says 10 and she very rudely said, No, we dont open until 10:30! We just felt the need to let her know nicely, that the website says 10 and we probably wouldve been fine with her answer if she hadnt had such a disrespectful attitude about it. So many different things are starting to make me question what kind of standards the University is holding their workers to. If I were a parent, I would be concerned about these issues and as well as others not mentioned. I would expect these kinds of things from a public university, but not from a private, more expensive Baptist college that is supposed to be better in every way. Im sincerely disappointed with this schools quality right now and I for sure will find somewhere else to transfer to next year.

Im a junior and the only best part of my experience at University of Mobile was a instructor name Dr. Downs. He is the best instructor the school has. He doesnt pass judgment and he is ALWAYS willing to help ALL of his students. (Not just certain ones.) Unfortunately the rest of my experience was not so grand. I have dealt with racism there mainly from the staff in the registrars office and a few instructors. If I could do it all over again I would have never came to this school.

There are a lot of positive, wonderful things to say about the University of Mobile. The Center for Performing Arts is absolutely amazing in its leadership, its programs, and the many branches of service and outreach through the groups and ensembles that perform all over. The people I have dealt with in the Business Office have been just as nice as they can be. Ram Rush seems like it is just super fun.With that said, I understand that the Wifi in certain dorms is spotty, which makes me wonder what the technology fee is for. And I also understand that the food in the caf leaves much to be desired. However, meals can be exchanged at a few locations on campus so thats pretty good. But generally, I love so many things about this school that I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any prospective student.

I am a current student and let me be COMPLETELY honest. I have never been straight up lied to and neglected by a financial aid office before in my life. I even attended school overseas and was at least treated like an adult. Honesty is very important to me, when someone says they will do something I believe them. I do not believe anything they say or do in financial aid and I would LOVE to see what happens behind the scenes. Maybe if I did, I would get a better idea of why it has taken them so long to process loans. I wouldnt go here if you rely on student funds to help you eat, have a place to live, and transport yourself to school. Just go to South!

I absolutely hate it, its called Mobile University but it is located in eight mile Alabama the horrendous dorm rooms is only 12 x 13 feet wide its like a closet in my mums house. 1/5 stars.

My brother goes here, Hes in sounds and he says the school makes him learn alot more.
