This is not just a dance studio. This is a family. My daughter has been dancing here for years and has loved every single minute of it. Ms. Meagan, (studio owner) truely loves what she does and the children she has the privilege to teach and it shows. She goes above and beyond to encourage every child, no matter what level they are at. The teachers are phenomenal and their passion for dance shows. I can not say enough good things for our forever dance family.

Be Famous Dance Center is like no other! Their teachers are absolutely amazing! They all treat the kids like their own. Megan has a heart of gold and is great at what she does! She is like Super Woman! We are beyond blessed to be part of such an amazing dance studio! It truly is a family!!!

I use to dance at be famous and everyone there is so caring and respectful. The teachers and the owner are honestly amazing people and the kids turned into great friends that I still stay in contact with to this day. I would honestly recommend this studio to anyone who is interested in putting there kids in dance. It is a professional yet fun atmosphere. And no you do not get a participation award just for showing up to class you have to work hard and be recognized by the teachers to get an award. Everyone is treated equally and fair. It feels so much better to know your hard work payed off when receiving an award.

My daughter has been dancing at this studio now for 3 years and she loves it! The owner is awesome and cares for her dancers. The teachers here are so talented and patient with everyone. Be Famous has become a big part of our lives and a loving Family to be apart of. To those who posted negative comments about this studio and about the phenomenal owner needs to take a second and think before you judge. If you want trophies for participating, then this is not the studio for you Hun! At Be Famous our kids work hard, have fun, build positive relationships, make good grades in school, respectful to each other and adults, travel together, and support each other. In this studio we push and strive to Be Famous while having fun and enjoying the life as a Dancer !

My oldest daughter has just completed her third year and my youngest daughter just finished her first year at Be Famous Dance Center. I truly cannot say enough good things about Megan and the welcoming atmosphere she provides students and their families. She and the other teachers that my girls have been blessed to encounter have helped them learn, grow, and love dance so much more than I could have imagined. Megan is so well organized and communicates the business and logistical aspects that come with dancing in a way that someone who was totally new to dance (like me) was never caught off guard or felt unprepared. Be Famous dancers, teachers, and dancers’ families are a dance family, and that is evident if you take the time to see what’s going on in the studio day to day. It really is our second home.

Honestly I’ve been dancing here for almost 3 years now and I’ve been helping and having fun at this studio, I originally came here to learn dance but over the years it’s felt like these people at the studio have become family and have treated me like everyone else and feels like I knew I was accepted and belonged to this studio as soon as I joined ,to strive and put in work which I have while having fun with the teachers is amazing the teachers not only help you and take care of you they teach you respect and to learn from mistakes or to keep going even if it gets rough or you mess up and if I have to be honest 2019 recital was one of the best days of my life, I had the most fun and thrilling excitement while being there, and also hanging with the volunteers or some of the original teachers was one of the best things because I related to them talking and having conversations well when they were not busy but other than that Ms Megan has put hard efforts for me and all the other kids to have fun and dance and let their family watch.

My daughter Skylar has loved her first year with this studio, she started at 2 and now is 3 and has been having an incredible experience. We love all the instructors and Wanda! They’ve really become part of our family over the last year and my daughter can’t wait to go there every week! Thank you Jessica, Wanda, Megan and everyone else for all you do! I love this studio with my entire heart, I have been dancing for 15 years and never in my life have i ever seen such a close and amazing bunch of people that I love more than them. The staff is truly incredible, the relationships they build with their students is indescribable. Megan is extremely organized and makes sure everything is together, and everything is planned and makes sure that everyone has all the information they need at all times. I couldn’t think of a better place to spend my time or better people to spend my time with. This studio is truly a blessing to be a part of, I have no clue where i’d be without them and all of their help and coaching. Incredible in every single way.

My daughter loves Be Famous. They are great with the kids and it’s an excellent atmosphere. She has learned so much and looks forward to going there. The owner and all of the teachers are great. My granddaughter have been dancing at Be Famous for 3 years.She has grown leaps and bounds!!She also dances competitively with Be Famous!!At the recital she recieved a trophy for best overall dancer! This year was my daughters first year in dance and as a mom with no clue what to do, the entire staff and all the older dancers welcomed us with open arms. My daughter absolutely loves it at Be Famous and I am so thankful this is where we chose to dance. Everyone has treated us like family and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. Be Famous Dance Center is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Yes, maybe the music messed up a little at recital, but if you are there, you are there to watch your kid, sister, brother, or parents if your mom teaches. You are there to watch them dance with or without music. All that matters is that your kid, sister, brother, mom etc., is having fun. Dancing at this place I can honestly say that it feels like home. Megan and all the other teachers are amazing! I have been dancing at this place for will i dont even know haw long. All i know is that i have enjoyed every single moment with these people. This year was a gurnee for me. I fractured my toe in class and then couldnt dance for 4-6 weeks. I HATED it but all my teachers kept me positive and that helped me through those weeks. So i wont to thank Be Famous Dance Center for always being an amazing place!!❤❤

My younger sister dances at this studio and I’ve watched her not only grow as a dancer over the past couple years but also gain confidence she has never had before. She never has anything but positive things to say about the other kids and the teachers at this studio. I can’t recall a day where she has ever not wanted to go to class. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a family friendly oriented environment.

Last June we found ourselves looking for a new dance home. After much online research and talking to other moms in the dance world, we ended up at Be Famous. My daughter and I got a warm welcome when she went for her evaluation, in fact the owner knew who she was and had been watching her dance at competitions already. She was welcomed by all the girls there and especially the teachers who treat her like shes always been a part of the family. They are loving, kind and compassionate yet tough when needed. My daughter made the elite team and has been challenged and has grown so much over the past 6 months and is so ready for competition season.My daughter was also diagnosed with scoliosis back in April and went through a rough period of no dance and PT. We love the fact that Be Famous has amazing programs like PBT which does a lot of the same exercises as PT, also Alixa Flexibility, Acrobatic Arts and CLI classes. All teachers are fully trained and its helped my daughter and her back so much.We are so happy to have found our new dance family and home.

In our world today not everyone is going to be satisfied, nor is everyone going to agree. ITS OK! Everyone is entitled to have their own opinion and speak how they feel. In my case, my goddaughter have been with Be Famous Dance Center 3 years now and it’s been a great experience for her. She absolutely loves it. It’s helped her come out of her comfort zone and find what it is she really enjoys. Which is dancing and entertaining a crowd. In my opinion I think today’s recital was great as it’s been the last 3 years. Yes they had a unexpected technical issue at the beginning, but it was quickly got under control and the show continued on. Those dancers have been working hard all year to make today’s show something for them to remember. They put their heart an souls into entertaining all the guest who were present today. With the technical issue they had, those kids continued to dance their heart out without any music and still kept a smile on their face. We as supporters should not speak on the bad without acknowledging the good. Those kids didn’t give up which is the main thing I founded great about today’s show. THEY KEPT GOING because they knew their job was to show off the talents they’ve been working on all year. I’ve been dancing my entire life an just because you don’t receive a trophy or get to hear your name being called for a award doesn’t mean you went unnoticed. If you want your child to have a trophy for every little thing they do, then GO BUY THEM ONE. It’s so much more to life then receiving a piece of plastic. It shouldn’t take a award for anyone to acknowledge the hard work those kids put in today. If any guest that was present today couldn’t see an understand that THINGS HAPPEN. When you expect things to go prefect, sometimes they don’t always go that way. If you can’t accept that then maybe the dance life just isn’t for you and your guest. Plus I don’t think you’re going to find anywhere where you get to dance for free. NOTHING IS FREE TODAY. DUH!!! So just like any other dance studio, dues and fees are going to be present. If you don’t know that by now then maybe yard basketball might be a better choice for you. ITS FREE!GREAT JOB TODAY BE FAMOUS. Keep being the great studio that you are, and continue to keep making kids great. I can truly say you’ve made a impact on the life of my goddaughter and i greatly appreciate that. I notice the growth in her every time I see her on the stage.

My girls love this dance studio. They have built so many friendships the studio is like family. Most of all what is learned branches out beyond just dance.

I cannot begin to describe the love that my family has for this dance studio. Both my daughters take dance at the studio, but learn and have gained so much more than dance lessons. My oldest has danced for the studio over 5 years and has been on the competition team for 3 years. This was youngest daughters first year and the joy on both of their faces while performing multiple routines was priceless.The fact that the dancers are able to perform no matter the circumstances and truly know the routines even with any unforeseen hiccups- speaks volumes about the instruction provided here.Ms. Megan has become far more than just a teacher for my children, and all of her staff are amazing. Our family has gained a family through this studio and the bond that all of the children have is amazing. These memories and relationships are amazing and inspirational. Lessons learned here go far beyond the dance floor. 💕

We were interested in having our children take classes at this studio. I had many conversations with the front desk receptionist and was hurt by the fact that I was never told of the open house they were having that very next Saturday. I had to find out and read about it myself, after the fact, on a Facebook post! They apparently felt that my family wasnt important enough for a visit to their studio... either that, or there is a break down of communication within the company and they are unorganized.I feel that this did not bode well for what was to come, in the future, inside this organization. As well, that brought me here, to read the reviews and see that I agree with the negative comments, and to see that there are a lot of fraudulent good reviews, which makes us realize this place is not for us. Thanks!

I love this dance studio! My son has an amazing time here and has been so happy with all of his classes! I love how organized and structured everything is. It makes my life so much simpler to have everything spelled out for me!!

Too much money involved for the poor looks, the dancers deserve better in my opinion.

The owner is money hungry! I have seen first hand how she has denied children to perform in the recital because they were not at picture week.Even after the parents have paid for costumes and recital fees. No she does not give a refund.Another student was injured and missed a competition and was not allowed to compete at the nationals even though the parents had paid for it. When confronted by the parents the student and parents were kicked off the property. She chooses costumes that are on clearence and then jacks the price way up, she choose what shoes are needed but may change her mind come recital time ( yes she has done that to me) needed new shoes for a 2-3 minuet dance. She has changed her customer portal so it s hard to figure out exactly how much each costume is. You must put a credit card on file so she can bill you on the date payments are do. You do have the option of her not charging your card if you get the payment in before its due date. READ the handbook throughly before you decide if this is the place you want to go. There are many great dance studios in the monroe area check them all out before deciding on this place. And just so you know the review from Shaun B is one of the dance teachers husband. Be sure if you read her google reviews you look at the dates she got a bad review from a parent and a bunch of parents jumped in and gave her a good review to help her.

Be famous is so professional and talented that the dancers know how to keep going even when something goes wrong. for example, when life happens and there are technical difficulties, the students can keep dancing even when the sound goes off !!

Most amazing studio in Monroe! I danced at Be Famous for 5 years, and my sister currently dances there. During this time I learned the technique necessary to succeed as a dancer. I grew so much not only as a dancer but also as a person. Be Famous is a very family-oriented atmosphere and everyone is inctedibly friendly. The teachers are dedicated and challenge each student to push his or herself, yet they do so with patience. Even now as an alumni my teachers keep in contact with me. I wouldnt trade my experience at BFDC for anything.

I love this studio, I’ve grown so much as a dancer and the connection all the dancers have in the studio from the youngest to the oldest is that of a family. I know if I ever need anyone to talk to I can rely on the owner, mrs.megan, to talk to, she gives her 100% to her students and even when I began dancing as a late dancer she always made me feel welcomed and made me the confident dancer I am, if you ask any of these dancers we ALL will say the same thing. This studio is life changing, confidence inspiring and close nite but always ready to invite new members into our family!

I have been dancing for thirteen years, and I have never been happier at a dance studio! The teachers are great at what they do, and I feel like I am at home with them and my friends everyday.

Waste of time and money. Recital was unorganized and unprofessional. Parents pay monthly fee, recital fee, and costume for a half *** show. AC didn’t work, and A/V was terrible.
