Had a great time at Carolina Improv. Great small venue, interactive but not pushy. Loved all the actors and the host. We are locals and always looking for fun things to do with out of town guests. We will be back!I would have given 5 stars if the venue wasn’t in a half empty shopping mall with restrooms around the corner and down the hall. That part was a little weird. I hear the mall is to be redeveloped and that should improve the ambiance.

What a great show. Havent laughed like that in a long time. If you are looking for something a little out of the norm for a fantastic price these are your people. Nice intimate setting and such creative people. If you are going with family, first check to make sure it is a family friendly night, some skits are 18 and up.

This business goes out of their way to make sure everyone has a good time. It is very inexpensive and a very small venue so there are no bad seats. The sound system was great. Great music and very funny. Highly recommend for inexpensive entertainment.

Saw the rising stars (level-4) students while on holiday vacation. They all did a good job, and you cant beat the price. Good entertainment option if you are in Myrtle Beach. (Tip: the AC can make it a little cool -- I had my coat because it was winter but be sure to take a wrap even if it is summer.)

We saw the show on Friday 7/5/19 and it was HILARIOUS beyond words!I hadnt laughed that hard in a very long time. It was very nice of the rest of the people in the audience not to give me dirty looks!I do not know if they have a fixed cast or they rotate but the people we saw were excellent! I still cant figure out how they come up with such funny bits on such random topics so quickly. My hats off to them and I hope they take their show on the road (if not already). I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it for all ages.Thanks for a great and memorable evening!

This was an awesome as well as hilarious hour and half. This group of folks bring genuine comedy in improv. It was my first experience and definitely will not be my last! Very lively, active, funny and just a real good time. 2 thumbs up Carolina Improv!

Great entertainment for a great price. The cast is very interactive with everyone. Made it a very special night for my wife and I celebrating our anniversary. Look forward to coming back!

One of the best values for your entertainment Dollar in the Myrtle Beach area. This improv theater group puts on family friendly shows which is such a rare thing to have and comedy now. Even the 18 and up shows are not crude like other comedy shows around. Its a great evening of audience participation in a very simple theater. Drink prices are low and that they only serve the basics a little wine a little beer some soda. It is not a fancy place but it is an excellent evening of fun. Weve been many times now and even if you see some of the same actors the show is different every single time you see it. You can buy your tickets online or at the door, just remember in tourist season, it is best to buy your tickets in advance online to guarantee yourself a seat because it is a small theater.

I enjoyed myself, the cast was funny. I feel the entry price was a little too much. But i did find out if you buy the tickets online its a reasonable price. Excited to go again.

This was so fun! The audience is made to be small so everyone can participate which makes it so much better. Definitely worth the money. Such a funny show and a positive atmosphere.

Awesome show! We had a lot of fun! The cast is great, everybody is really talented and funny. They are also very attentive to the audience, making sure everyone feels included and comfortable, never embarrassing anyone. We loved the kindness they showed to us: we got lost on our way to the show and they called us to make sure we had the right directions and that it would be ok to arrive after they had started. When we finally got there, they were super nice and made us feel welcome. Excellent show, great people! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Our family enjoyed this show so much!! We all lovedIt and our ages went from 13 to 78. I laughed so hard I got tears in my eyes. Definitely will do this again next vacation! 😂😂😂👍👍👍

Attended The Naughty List tonight. The show was great! There was a lot of audience participation. The cast was tremendous at taking the suggestions and creating extremely funny scenes . It was my birthday, and they used all little information about me to sing me a very funny song. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will definitely go back.

My husband and I Celebrated our Anniversary in Myrtle Beach and we found this Jewel . The staff was so friendly, and the actors/actress kept us laughing and well engaged . They added our story of how we got married etc into one of the scenes, which we will never forget. We will definitely be back when we are in town.

Absolutely hysterical. I really enjoyed the show. The performers were really enjoying themselves as well, which is always a very important part. Would very highly recommend.

We went to the show tonight and we had a blast. We took our staff there for an after Christmas outing, and all 10 loved it. The comedians were hysterical and the show was clean. Thanks so much for an awesome experience. We will most definitely be back!!

Excellent shows - for families, or adults only. The performers cleverly use suggestions from the audience to create comedy on the spot. Easy on the wallet too. This is a must do every visit to the area!

I have been to at least a half dozen shows! It is becoming my go to spot on the weekends. Each show is different every time. The players are amazingly talented. Laugh Out Loud for an hour and a half. Your face will hurt when you leave.

This was a fun night. A nice break from the honky tonk attractions and the chaos of Myrtle Beach. The group was funny and friendly . We all had a great time with a lot of laughs. We would come back next time in town!

Great place for fun. There are family friendly and adult shows. The adult shows are advertised as naughty but not nasty. Inexpensive live entertainment. If you are a local, improv class are fun!

Fun experience! Definitely worth the time and money.Intimate venue with (purely verbal) audience participation.I felt a bit uncomfortable being at the 18+ show with my grandparents there, given some of the naughty topics as they phrased it... But those things were brought up by audience members for the most part and Im sure the show varies greatly night to night.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Myrtle Beach and heard about the Carolina Improv Company and it was one of the highlights of our vacation! We went to check out the show Whose Beach is it Anyway?, and it was such an awesome experience. My husband and I loved the show and we would certainly go again and would recommend the show to anyone. The comedians were hilarious and they even added in a little skit for us because of being on our honeymoon. Definitely a laugh and a good time.

They picked some great games and had us laughing throughout. I would highly recommend it.

Left in the middle. At first thought it was just off to a slow start, or not my sense of humor. Glanced down row at five other friends (diverse group) all with straight faces, not amused in the least. However, I will say that the staff seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Ive never been to an improv before and have always been a fan of Wayne Brady on Whos Line. So, I had a general idea of what the experience may be like.Ive been to many comedy clubs from all over the country including CA. I will say going to this improve is the FUNNIEST comedy Ive EVER SEEN HANDS DOWN!!I loved the audience interaction, the rawness of the participants and so much more. If youre a local or visiting the area, this is a MUST SEE!

While visiting the area, from NJ I went to the Carolina Improv located in the Mall. What a surprise to have such a full night of laugh out loud moments! I stayed for 2 shows, since the first one was G rated with lots of kids. As a matter of fact, there was a 13 old boy having his birthday party there. I enjoyed watching the kids participate as well as the show itself! I wish we had something in my area like this. What a great family night this is.The second show contained more adult humor but not over-the-top, just down right funny and so creative! I have been to many comedy clubs in NY & NJ and found this group to be uber-talented and hilarious! I highly recommend you stop in for a nice night out & a good laugh!!

It was very good tonite!! I brought two lady friends and they enjoyed the show. They were glad they came.

A great evening of entertainment that no person should miss. My wife and I laughed through the various skits, and the cast worked very well together. Anyone visiting Myrtle Beach needs to see this unique offering.

They are very nice and friendly! We read reviews that drinks are To exspensive but 5.00 for a full cup of wine seems very reasonable! My husband and I went to the family one and it was still funny! Our favorite player is Bob!

I had no idea what to expect. We walked into a mall and somehow managed to pass by the place several times before realizing. The actors/actresses were amazing. The show was very involved and provided laughs throughout. The topics were hilarious. we were able to participate and afterwards we were greeted by the comics as we left, given an opportunity to thank them for their performance and engage. I was so pleased with this show and think that it truly is a diamond in the rough. please check them out , it is so worth the time and money. they serve beer and wine as well . we were fortunate enough to share a night with a retired police officer from PA whos birthday number 70. This place has been there a long time typically when you walk by it looks like its closed which it is because they only operate during their business hours which is typically at night. The seating in the area doesnt hold a lot of people which makes for a good atmosphere especially for improv comedy

If youre charging for a show, it needs to be a whole lot better than this. Ive seen a lot of improv over the years. Im from Chicago. This was like a bunch of amateurs goofing around. Like the first day of an improv class. Not recommended at all! I think the other reviewers know the cast or something. Thats the only reason I could see anyone giving it four or five stars. We left in the middle of it. It was that bad.
