Doug and the gentleman in the print center did what they could to figure out why my document was not getting sent to online printing service and took the time to personally help me with my laptop and get me to where my document successfully sent and was able to be printed. I really appreciate you guys going the extra mile. I will be returning for future printing needs. Thank you!

I have been working from home since COVID started and have been using a very old office chair. I went to Staples and Jeremiah assisted me. He did a great job and I love the chair he suggested (actually gaming chair). Staples has helped me multiple times since working from home and I am very grateful.

I come here quite often to print things and its pretty inexpensive if you need things printed and dont own a printer. Sometimes to self self-help printing machines wont pick up the format of what I need Printing and always seems to be a problem if I ask for help, seems like it was such a big inconvenience to do his job to help me print something.

Came in to the store today to talk about laptops. The gentleman I was speaking with seamed like he knew nothing about laptops. He said they were completely out of laptops. I then came back later in to see if they would sell a display. The two at the cash register one said no you cant and the other other said yes you can and both went back and forth. The gentleman then said you can ask the manager. I asked who the manager and he pointed at two gentleman and I had not clue who he was talking about. I asked which one and he said that guy. I said you have to guys and then he said the old guy. They obviously dont care about you as a customer. Also the bathrooms have been out of order for over a month and they have porta pottys that are dirty also.

I had great service this past week with Chelsea in the copy and print department. I had a very big order of copies to get done and needed certain things done on different days. Everyday I came in she was working and was absolutely wonderful. She helped me learn how to use the new machines and printed and cut posters for me. Great multitasking skills. I used to try and get everything done in my small home office but after this week I can tell you Ill be going to staples now. Thank you for all the help this week.

I needed to order HS Graduation announcements, I chose to go to Staples as others gave them great reviews on Posters, invites, etc when I got in site, was so easy to do . Pick out what I wanted, personalize, and place order, and pay online. I could pick them up, when ready, at Store near me, so saved in shipping cost. Took a few days and could pick up order. So easy and fast.. saved money too, thats a plus with our budget.

Staples will have your office supply needs: It is the most convenient stop for me in New Bern. Most of the time I am in a hurry and just do not have time to chase deals all over town.If your item is a traditional office staple, it will be available here!Besides, they greet you when you enter the store and offer to assist you in finding what you are looking for.What more can one ask?

My usual experience at this Staples is a pleasant one. I generally encounter smiling, happy employees always willing to help.Not so today. No friendly greeting when I entered, no offers to help, even from the grumpy old manager. It all ended with a my face will crack if I smile mute cashier whose only words were huh and I dont know Sad day at Staples in New Bern, NC

It was a visit not an exceptional one, the manager seemed to care less what I needed. I brought my house printer to be serviced but Staples is worthless in this Dept. I was looking at printers and once again he was just eyeing me up and down the aisle as if I was going to steal a printer. The copy center area is good, the fax is good if you had more terminals or its a fight in line. The make custom copies pretty good. Just not a great atmosphere, needs more caring and friendly faces.

My parents have been using there geek squad for a while and while I was home they were getting work on computer. We picked it up took home and would not come up. So took it back and Bill in geek squad brought up computer and it was slow. He said it was updating but never once did the computer say it was or need updates. So he cut off and restarted. This time very slow and when it came up he said it was my dad’s Skype. So he said he fixed that and turned it off. This time cut it back on and it would not come up. Now the whole time throughout this he was telling my dad it was updating and we needed to take it home. We had to persuade and insist on him to keep looking and trying to look into the problem. Once it would not come on like it did with us he said oh I have never seen this and finally kept it to work on. Then the geek squad kept it for over a week and did not keep my family up on what was going on. They had to come in and check on it. They kept saying they would call and never did. Finally when they came in to check on computer. A guy came up to my dad. Had him sign papers. When my dad asked what they found and what was wrong the guy said we reset it and good luck the walked away. This is super rude and this service is unacceptable. They spend alot of money with y’all and for this service is sad and unacceptable. It’s your job to fix computers and to give good service to your customers. If this is the best you have it’s sad

Wow, asked for help and no one ever came. Then the laptops started beeping when I typed on them so the manager came over...When I asked him if he could help us he very rudely and condescendingly said “I’m with a customer right now.” And totally ignored us. Super rude. The tall manager is the one who was extremely rude. Seemed to have an attitude problem. I work in retail and would never even dream of talking to a customer like that. The other employees were very kind and helpful but the experience with the manager drags the whole store down.

Its ok but print and copies has no chance. Its overpriced and it takes long (and they charge extra to to it in one hour). If it werent Sunday I would take the very friendly and convenient UPS Store, maybe the new Postal Annex. Walmart, Target, Rite Aid have all the office supplies I need anyway. For anything that can wait Amazon rules...

Making money from preying on elderly people is disgusting. My grandmother went to this Staples to have her computer repaired and they took the opportunity to trick her into spending over $600 on useless hardware and software. A $41.99 VGA to HDMI adapter that she will never use? You can buy the same adapter online for $7.99. McAfee anti-virus software for $50? Windows 10 has anti-virus software built in.To make matters worse, they charged her $20 Logitech wireless keyboard and then didn’t put it in the package with the new computer. They also included some random computer plug that belonged to a Dell computer, not her HP. How do you mess so many things up?Staples exists solely because they sell overpriced garbage and prey on elderly people and people who don’t know better about technology. Save your time and money and talk to your grandkids instead of a so-called “professional” at Staples.

Extremely disappointed. I work from home, needed new charger for my 2 yr old laptop I bought there. They no longer carry it and offered to order and get in store in 2 biz days. Tried their in store universal charger, didnt work, not so universal. Only reason I didnt order on Amazon was their guarantee order would be 2 day, same as prime. Assured me they would call min it was in. 2 days later no call, I called and was told it wasnt in, day 3 no call, I called, not in. It has now been 6 days, no call, no apology! I was forced to order anyway from Amazon and not only did i lose $800 in pay, but almost lost my job entirely! Will never ever shop here again!

I went there to buy a laptop. It showed it was in stock online, but they had none when I got there. No big deal. I ask them to see if Morehead city had it in stock, and they said it did. I figured okay, well make the drive. The guy kept saying hed order it and have it shipped to the New Bern store, we didnt want to wait a few days, but he was pushy and against us going to another store.We went out to the parking lot and called Morehead City. They had it in stock and offered to hold it. We made the 40 minute drive (which is a beautiful drive) and purchased it there. New Bern seems to have hired a used car salesman to sell their stuff. Very pushy and poor customer service.I found out, I could have even pain in New Bern and just gone to the other store to pick it up. Make the drive and go to Morehead City. Much better customer service there.I have worked in retail customer service for over 20 years, and know he could have easily done a lot better with minimal effort.

Bad, I purchased a laptop there last year for 600 dollars well recently my screen developed a crack and though I paid 150 for their complete care warranty I was not informed that it did not cover cracks, drops, and spills. After calling their service department I was told it would cost 400 for them to even send the laptop to their product repair provider and was told that Id be better off just buying a new laptop.

I needed a new laptop so I went to Staples with my little pekingese dog holding her. Waited for around 20 minutes for the gentleman to get off the phone to service me. I held my little dog that long so I set her on the counter while my arms were wrapped around her. Come find out the man was not so much of a Gentleman He Put The Phone Down long enough to say Mam would you please take your dog off my counter What a jerk Ill take my business some where else. Im glad it turned out like it did because I have dealt with this same man before he doesnt know much of anything. He just thinks he does. Hes in his early 50 wears black frame glasses dark hair & hes very hateful. The rest of the employees are very helpful. Watch how u talk to customers u big stupid man.... New Bern, N.C.

Do not buy a Samsung product or anything else for that matter from Staples of New Bern, NC. I bought my autistic 25 year old daughter a samsung Notebook from Staples easily within this year. A couple of months ago it got broken so with originally Staples coordination I got it to Samsung for repairs, well they repaired it and sent it back and guess what it still did not work. So I sent it back again and they accused my daughter of getting water on it which she did not do. Now it is waiting for some kind of approval from someone up their chain to send me a new one for my daughter. This has already dragged on for 3-4 months now and I am sick of it. Oh by the way the Staples store manger said that they could not replace it either it was not their responsibility. So I am going to the parks and recreation department of New Bern to get a parade permit and I will be protesting in front of the Staples in New Bern and I will do this until my handicapped daughter has a new Samsung.

They charged me for a turbo tax program that I didnt get. It was accidently scanned at checkout and fortunately I caught it on my receipt later. Always double-check your receipts .They also charged me for a warranty on a new printer after I said I didnt want it .
