It is a one of a kind place where you can experience all the in’s and out’s of the industry with every different type of casting director, coach, agent, or manager, you can think of. Whatever style of learning is best suited for you, you will find it here. Including somebody to help you identify such, and who is the right fit for you to learn from. Everyone who works at AC is such a truly kind person and they will always be glad to help you as best they can. You can reach out to them regardless if you are enrolled in a class or not, this staff is here for you in the most genuine way.If you are someone like me who deals with bad anxiety, you know the gripping feeling of how hard it is to put yourself out there and try something new. I was so nervous having such little familiarity or contact with the majority of who you can meet and what you can experience at AC. However, I soon realized I had nothing to be nervous about. Any industry professional you can take a class with for is here because they want to be. They are only here to give you feedback that will allow you to strengthen your skills, push yourself further and help you to see for yourself all that you are capable of. I’m beyond grateful I started taking courses through AC and know its somewhere I will never stop learning from.

LOVE AC! It is a great place to condition your craft, take classes, meet CDs and agents and network. I found my theatrical and commercial agents there. The staff is super friendly, helpful, genuine and very professional. The way the run seminars is the best. It is a great resource. Tony is great! And my FAV is Colleen!!! I cannot stop raving about her. She is down to earth, genuine, full of industry knowledge and such a delightful person. She has actors’ backs. People like Colleen and Tony make me want to keep going back to AC.

Excellent place for classes, networking, practicing the craft, learning about the biz, organizing yourself around a strategy for your success and keeping yourself accountable and in action. Ive been to several other similar places in NYC, but I keep coming back here because its the most organized and has the best energy. Flows down from the top: Pure Positive energy. Been attending and utilizing everything it has to offer for about 2 years. Have taken craft/life changing classes here, got my Agent after a meeting here, got my Manager after a meeting here, got more fantastic, talented friends than I can count from here (Remember, you Get out of it according to what you GIVE of yourself to it). And the people who work here are awesome: Warm, inviting and professional.Get a sound strategy together (and do the Fast Track!), stay positive and youll get the results.

Actors Connection is an amazing place to meet casting directors, agents, and other professionals from the industry! They are super professional and always extremely helpful! Colleen and Tony have done such a great job with programming and also started a free at Three series during this time of uncertainty when all classes are temporarily shut. I just finished participating in the Broadway Connection event and I couldn’t be more excited about the next steps in my career! Having the opportunity to meet and perform for many casting directors/agents and actually hear their feedback in the room is a rare and special gift for an Actor. Be prepared to hear MANY differing opinions, but take the good and build upon that. Tony’s business class is enlightening and ultimately gets you in the mindset to build your brand effectively. As someone who was entering the industry completely afresh in NYC, this was by far one of the best ways to get a crash course on how things work. I recommend it fully to anyone that wants to get started. I feel like Ill be coming back for the rest of my career.

During this uncertain and overwhelming covid shut down, Actors Connection really gave me the motivation that I needed. Their calls (some of them absolutely free!) kept me informed of what’s happening in the industry and kept my acting muscle in shape.

Great resource for the beginning and seasoned performer. Opportunities to meet industry experts, augment your network, and increase your chance for bookings/representation. Excellent classes taught by working professionals. Also has a lounge area where you can relax before your class/audition, use their computers, find new copy. Polished atmosphere and a great vibe! Tony (the President/Partner) is the man! :)

A great place to learn the craft of acting! Challenging courses, terrific teachers, and a great atmosphere for aspiring actors. Its also a nice place to meet Agents and CDs alike!

I love having Rehearsals and Table readings here. Shannon Summers is awesome and his staff is amazing! Its a great, beautiful, space that is immaculate and well-managed.

I use Actors Connection for most of my taped auditions. The staff is very pleasant, extremely helpful and I find them always engaged as readers. They are an excellent resource.

Took a few free seminars when I lived near there, as well as an audition seminar, and really enjoyed the experience. Received professional encouragement and advice from Shorey Walker and other staff there.
