The staff here will make sure you are dedicated in becoming an EMT. There is no better staff, experience or instructions anyone will get to become an EMT. I can say with my whole heart that I will become a humble and kind-hearted first responder because of all I have learned from Dr. Levys accelerated EMT course at Yeshiva. I now look at any ambulance differently and hope to one day be on one, trying to save lives to the best of my ability. I could have never done it without the help of the wonderful people at Aura. :)

I took this Yeshiva accelerated EMT course organized by Dr. Levy this June. It was most definitely a great experience! The instructors go above and beyond and are exactly how you wish your professors in college were. I would love to work a shift with any one of them. PS if you ask nicely they tell you some really interesting stories about their experiences.

I Just finished the EMT course organized by Dr. Levy and had a great experience! Because of Covid the lectures were given on zoom but Sean did a great job making it not only easy but enjoyable to learn! We had a week of in person skills days where every instructor genuinely wanted to help you learn! Amazing people and I highly recommend the program!

I finished this course last week and I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to become an EMT. I’m not a pre-med student and didn’t know much about bio or anatomy but Sean was an awesome teacher and made it enjoyable to pay attention in class and study after. Dr. Levy was always very responsive and helpful. All the staff was amazing to learn from and hilarious at the same time. 5 stars for sure.

I did my first refresher with Aura Prep and Sean and it was great. Sean is an excellent teacher and his program did a great job preparing me. The practical tests were well run, and I had no problem pass the state written exam and with a high score. I can def recommend Sean Graves and his school to any EMT.

I loved this EMT class and Sean was such a great instructor!! I felt that I was really prepared for my exams and this was honestly the coolest experience of my life. Definitely recommend this course and I wish the class was fully in-person because the instructors were awesome!

Sean Graves is the absolute best EMS instructor - bar none. His clinical prowess is impressive to say the least, but the ways in which he breaks down lesson material and physiological concepts for students to easily digest is what makes his brand of teaching invaluable. Studying with Aura prep would be considered as the best choice Ive ever made during the pandemic year. The teachers prep their students for success from day one. Each individual who chose to study EMT with Aura prep, must have the drives to learn and unafraid to ask questions.

The program is a bit overwhelming at first because there is so much information condensed into such a short amount of time. However, the instructors make sure you are oriented with the most pertinent information to be successful in this course. If you study often, ask questions, and pay attention, you’re guaranteed to be successful in this course.

I completed my EMT course earlier this year with Aura Prep. My experience was amazing. The instructors were GREAT, I felt the curriculum was well paced and they were there to help you with any questions. Every class was fun and interesting and interactive. And the teachers were so genuinely dedicated, really invested in our progress. There were many students from different educational backgrounds, pursuing various paths; which was so intriguing and inspiring, we all helped each other and even opened one another’s eyes to other possible opportunities we could have with this emt cert. The instructors provided a strong and reliable community to grow in and I am honored to have been apart of it, and eager to begin a career as an emt.

I have been in EMS a number of years internationally and decided to qualify as an EMT in the US (specifically New York). I cannot recommend them enough. Sean Graves is a very knowledgeable EMT educator and doesnt make the course easy!The practical training was well run and delivered to a high standard even with the challenges of Covid-19. I passed the NYS EMT and NREMT exam first time thanks to them. I will definitely be back when I need to refresh.

Couldnt have had a better experience here! The instructors are all highly experienced and share their field knowledge with stories that help you remember all the info better. I learned way more in this Beginner EMT class than I did in any of my college classes.

We hired Aura Prep to come clean and sanitize our office to prepare for our re-opening after NYC opened Phase 2. We also purchased hand sanitizers dispensers and pumps. As well as soap and paper towel dispensers for our bathrooms. All touch free models. These guys are professional, caring and provided an amazing job. They are reliable and always there to take a call and provide me with options. We liked them so much that we have them doing monthly sanitizing for our office. A very reputable and trustworthy company to deal with.

Jose & Sean are the best instructors! If you do what youre supposed to do & put the effort into this course, you can pass the state exam the first time around without a problem.

I have been in the Emergency Business for over 30 years and was Deputy Chief of Training at the FDNY/EMS Academy. I have refreshed in person in the past with these guys and just completed the remote refresher with Sean Graves due to Corona concerns. Great content and resources, definitely a pro operation. Out of the many options to become EMT certified in the NYC area, I can guarantee you that this is the absolute best. The instructors available bring their unique experience to the classroom, and beyond completion their staff will not be forgotten. Anyone who works in the 911 system in NYC knows AURA and their instructors. If you are looking to pursue a career in emergency medicine, I highly recommend any program that they have to offer. I personally went in blind to their John Jay class and have since forgone a career in EMS that I would otherwise think impossible. From hospital based EMS, to FDNY the skills taught by AURA stand true.

I have been a NYS certified Emt-b since 2003. Every 3 years we have to recertify. I went to Aura prep for my last recert and I can honestly say that their course prepares you for the job. They dont just shove class material in your face and get you ready for the state exam. They shed light on the profession itself. They explain the ethics and moral code. They teach you the protocols and procedures but even more important they teach you how to implement them on your calls. If you are new to the profession, trying to get back in it after a break, or have been in it and just need to recertify to stay employed Aura prep is the program you need. With online classes, and flexible scheduling ,you will be able to work around your life schedule easily. The acceleration program is also great for those who want to get it done in 3months instead of 6 months. All the instructors have years of hands on experience in NYC and NYS EMS system you will learn a lot from them. I have been referring all my EMS coworkers and regular friends and have had 0 complaints. So if you know anyone who wants to join EMS or recertify send them to Aura prep. They will thank you for it.
