Bonjour NY Manhattan was our first experience with a summer camp and it met all our expectations. Great and well organized program, good communication and the staff was always very friendly. The weekly field trips were a big highlight. What I really liked is that the kids were spending most of the time outside! My daughter (4 yrs) had very little French knowledge, but that was not an issue. After the first week she got used to it and started to learn few words (mainly through songs). I highly recommend this program!

Very warm team. We loved that the camp organized a camp performance for families. It was my daughters first time on stage and she just LOVED it. Needless to say shes also a big fan of the Glee classes. She came home singing and dancing EVERY DAY! Excellent camp, well managed and very educational.

We had a great experience at Bonjour NY last summer when my son was 3 and turning 4 in August, and we recently signed him up for this upcoming summer. The staff is very professional and the communication with parents is outstanding. The director was so sensitive to my concerns when before the camp started, I called to discuss whether my son would do okay on the field trips. There were so many fun, interesting activities planned for the children. My son was happy to go to camp and made friends. If you are looking for a great summer day camp with lots of classic camp activities with the added bonus of French exposure, this is a great camp. Furthermore, its great for families looking for flexibility (you sign up for as many or few weeks as you would like and choose among options for hours, add-on classes).

My son went to several camps over the summer, and Bonjour was his favorite. They do a wonderful job of mixing activities, from art and games to music and water sports. The weekly field trips are a highlight: horseback riding at Jamaica Bay Academy, Chocolateworks in Brooklyn, a trampoline park, the Natural History Museum were all wonderful. And all with a French immersion that is friendly to kids from all levels. We will definitely be back, and we would recommend to anyone.

This summer was my daughter’s first experience in a summer camp, and she absolutely loved it! She loved it so much to the point that she would be sad when the weekend had come and she couldn’t be at camp, and she also didn’t want to leave when we went to pick her up. She spent the past 7 weeks going to Bonjour, and while she has always spoke french at home (and at bilingual daycares/preschools), her french has visibly improved. We love that she went to the field trips every week and that she spent so much time outdoors. We also loved the staff, and especially Lorraine, Yoane and her counselor Mike. Mike was really a big brother to our daughter and she absolutely loved him! Communication and organization has always been great too. This was her last week at Bonjour, but we are looking forward to sending her again next year. Thanks to the Bonjour staff, for making this a very special and memorable summer!

My husband had been speaking exclusively in French to our daughter since birth but she always replied in English. She had just started preschool in French and the teachers were complaining that she didnt interact in French. We signed up for Bonjour NY camp and VOILA! This was it, she started speaking French. We couldnt believe it!! She was placed in a group of Francophone children who very easily interacted in French and all of a sudden, she did too!! Thank you Bonjour NY. Keep up the good work. We love you!

(This will be the 4th year of my older son)BNY camp offers a lot of fun activities. Themes change weekly and campers can do sports and games outside throughout the day. Our 5 year old daughter loved Bonjour New York! She learned so much French (without even realizing) and genuinely enjoyed each week. She loved the field trips, all of the outdoor activities, and the warm, friendly teachers from all over the Francophone world. Communication with Ria, Martin, and the whole staff was excellent. We have already signed up our daughter for this coming summer.

We dont speak French at home and our kids attend a Dual Language Program. They understand French but are not eager to speak, especially my son. If soccer was a language, hed definitely be fluent though. So I made a deal with him last summer, I would sign him up for Soccer camp in July if he attended French camp in August. He enjoyed soccer camp in July, and surprisingly enough, he LOVED Bonjour NY camp even more. He played soccer at Bonjour almost everyday and the soccer coach taught him some tactical moves that made him a star player during tournaments. He now loves French camp and this summer, hell be attending Bonjour NY only and taking additional private soccer lessons with the wonderful soccer coach.

My daughter (9) came home from camp very excited one evening. She had us all work on a project for camp that night: find the perfect charade in French related to farming vocabulary. We were all browsing the internet and found a great one. She told her charade at camp the next day and won a prize for her whole group. She was a hero for a day at camp and for several weeks at our house. Well done Bonjour NY, you know how to keep kids interested in learning French!

Im a very happy parent and want to thank all the counselors, staff and the administration team at Bonjour NY for making our summers (two in a raw) very special, fun, full of energy, and educational. My son cant wait for the summer to go to Bonjour NY again. They do so many fun and interesting activities that no school (including his grade school) can beat in his eyes. And they do all of this in French. The staff are always very professional, provide great and detailed communication daily. They tune in to each childs needs, accompanied always by a huge smile. From the owners to the office staff to the counselors, everyone give extra attention to every detail. There is so much music, singing, dancing, movement during the day. Kids also participate in hand-on activities. They go swimming twice a week and play in the park every day. They also get to visit a special place each week (a farm in NJ, the aquarium in Coney Island, the trampoline park in NJ, riding ponies just to name a few). My son still talks about the trips from 2 summers ago.Im very grateful for the milieu Ria, Martin and the rest of the team creates for our kids each summer. And they do it so lovingly. Thank you BNY.
