We are very happy with the school. The teachers are very demanding and sometimes think the studentsare already in College which is not a bad thing. The level in humanities/English is very high and competitive.It is a small school so teachers are very supportive and welcoming. Students are all friendly.A very good school.

I have been trying to retrieve my transcript from Frank McCout since Louis D Brandies is formerly closed.I submitted form and money order as instructed. I have been calling for over three months. I even put in a report to 311. I have left messages with almost every one at the school from the front desk to the principal. No one will call me back and no one will pick up the phone.I called today over and over for 30 min. No luck. If I lived closer would go there. I will be calling the Mayors office today to try and get some help Mayors office directed me to 311. Just reached out to 311 today I was informed that Frank McCourt is on vacation. Which should have been a message about that when you call. I was also given the number to the Department Of Education NYC . I. spoke with a very kind gentleman and he is going to research this matter.

Unfortunately the school did not meet our expectations. Poorly run. No one ever is available to answer the phones, the guidance counselors rarely reply to emails.I believe the school doesnt help the students to give their best.My daughter went to 9th grade extremely motivated but at the end she felt the school was not for her. Thank God I was able to transfer her to a proven great school .

Please, I need to know if this high school is teaching french language for students. In your program for 9th grade (Official Website), do not mention anything about it but in the High School of Department NYC, it is appear, but it is very important for me. This high school teachs or not french language for student? or is it a elective assignament or mandatory assignatment? it is no clear in their official website. Thanks.

A good school
