Such a great atmosphere for first timers and pros. Deena is extremely attentive to every student in her session. Her kindness when you enter, during and leaving is genuine and refreshing. Music and Deena’s workout regiment is AWESOME! If you are looking for a huge cardio sweat and enjoy doing it this is the place and the best instructor to have! 😁

I recently started attending kickboxing classes with Deena at Hip Fit Fitness and I am hooked! The class is challenging, but Deena makes it so much fun. The combination of great music and Deena’s encouragement motivates each student to give it their all while developing new skills and getting stronger. HIP FIT FITNESS is the most amazing class and workout! Not only is Deena kind, supportive and encouraging so are your class mates. As a unfit beginner I did not know what to expect but after my first class I knew this space was for me.The music is great and while you can go at your own pace the encouragement you receive makes you want to work to that beat!Over all it is fun and does not feel like a workout while you are doing it, but trust me you are working every muscle in your body and your mind feels light and clear.I would encourage anyone of any fitness level to give Hip Fit Fitness a try!

I love this fitness class! Deena is so friendly, kind, and welcoming. I recently started my journey with boxing and was invited here by a friend. I did two classes in one week, that’s how much I enjoyed it. Although I am a newbie, Deena made my experience easy to follow with instructions and demonstrations. She is encouraging, motivating, and her music is on point, helping you work out to every beat. She takes the time to acknowledge every individual during the class and brings that personal connection into her space, making it all our space. I love the energy & positivity.The full-body workout combined with boxing/kickboxing gives you a great workout that’s worth what you pay. Within a few minutes, I was sweating, and my entire body was working. There was no dull moment during class, and I felt empowered by the rest of the group.I look forward to my next class Hip Fit Fitness.

I’ve always been too self conscious for group classes but I’m so happy I gave this place a try. Deena is the perfect instructor. She’s motivating and so kind that no one feels out of place, even if you’re a complete beginner. Her workouts are fun and engaging and the music can’t be beat.All of the other classmates were also so friendly! The energy here is unmatched and its the only workout I completed where time just seemed to fly by. Deena makes exercise fun. Truly a gem in this city, give this class a try.

So happy I found Hip Fit. Deena is an amazing instructor and person. She makes you feel like you’re part of a family from your first visit. I’ve been to a few kickboxing gyms and this one by far has been my favorite. After my first class two weeks ago I was hooked and have been back several times now. The class has a clear structure but the moves and combinations are new every time, making each class a fun and exciting challenge…and a great workout. Great music too!

Had my first class a week and half ago was great Deena welcomed me a new comer just as everyone else. She was encouraging and helpful. I am not coordinated at all but deena did one on one with all of us in class and I left the class knowing the steps. In the class time I definitely felt more liberated and ready to kick butt. If you can attend a class you will not regret it. I’m hoping once school is finished my kids can do the toddler classes they are dying for it. Thank you hip fitness and I will see you next class. This will transform my mind and body.

I love Deenas classes! I usually hate group fitness classes but this is so different from any other. Music is so good, Deenas energy really keeps you going, and you can really learn a skill since the classes are smaller that she can really correct form. The women in the group are also so supportive :)

Hip Fit Fitness is such a great studio. The workout atmosphere that Deena creates makes me feel confident and comfortable as I learn kickboxing. Deena takes time to help clients when they are struggling with a combo or need assistance. I am new to kickboxing and mess up frequently, but Deena always keeps me on track. I cannot recommend this place enough!! You will be sweating through you shirt after class. An amazing workout with amazing students and an even more amazing teacher.

I absolutely love Deenas boxing classes. Ive never taken a boxing class prior to my first experience at Hip Fit Fitness. Deena immediately made me feel comfortable and explains every step very clearly - I had no problem keeping up! The classes are small so Deena is able to check on each persons form and offer instruction. The space is well maintained and has plenty of space for each person so I feel completely comfortable. And I cant forget the playlists! Every class has a fire playlist that keeps me motivated throughout. I cant say enough about how much I enjoy Deenas classes - I just bought a 5-pack!!

100% recommend this studio. Surprisingly affordable (especially for the UWS), amazing support, and judgement free zone (regardless of gender). Everyone is struggling and succeeding together and Deena is always going around giving individual attention to encourage you to take breaks, correct your form, and cheer you on. Everyone is welcome and everyone is here to learn in an incredibly well structured course. Will be back again next week!

Hipfit changed my life! I take both the virtual classes and In person. The virtual classes give the flexibility that I need right now, as I have to home school most days due to covid. I do the in person at least once a week, when I can slip away from the kids. The energy in the room is so exhilarating, it gives me that boost I need to get through the week!

I attended Deena’s HipFit Kickboxing for the month of February and I loved it, it exceeded anything I’ve ever expected from a virtual training session and then some! Initially I came across HipFit under an Instagram post where Deena gave away 5 free virtual kickboxing classes which I was fortunate enough to win. After those classes it was a no brainer for me to book 8 more easily.. the class was exactly what I needed (& VERY affordable)! Not only did I learn that kickboxing was a great stress reliever but it also improved my agility as well as memory. The owner is the embodiment of HipFit and she is nothing short of amazing! I could go on and on but OVERALL this class is bad a** and I highly recommend to anyone, anywhere! #HipFit #Motivate #Inspire

This is my favorite fitness class Ive ever attended. The instructors (especially Sherise) are incredibly welcoming and inclusive. They pushed me to try my hardest without making me feel uncomfortable. The class is tough, but it can be adapted for all skill levels. When I went to my first class, I hadnt exercised in months, and they got me into shape FAST. I saw results fast because the class is fun and I wanted to be there. I cant speak highly enough of Sherise and the wonderful, empowering community she creates at Hip & Fit. I highly recommend this class!
