This school is great. I am currently enrolled in the eighth grade SP program and I am very happy with this school. I have met a lot of great people here but look forward to leaving. This school has occasional fights but thats nothing to worry about just dont get mixed in with the wrong crowd. The music and arts program at this school are amazing and Baruch has some of the best Basketball and Volleyball teams in the league.

Wonderful school! They have a dedicated staff and the students are both hardworking and eager to learn. Additionally, they have great after-school programs, extracurriculars, among other opportunities to help the students achieve everything they desire. I couldnt have had a better experience!

I would like for the children to tell me more about the bullying and fighting. My daughter is very beautiful and doesnt usually make female friends due to what appears to be jealousy. She has been accepted to Baruch which she did not apply to. I am concerned that this school maybe a horrible choice for her but I am also seeing some wonderful reviews. She is very sweet and passive.

Big school dedicated teachers except for the 70s house science teacher who is a joke and childish the drama and ceramics programs have to be the best

I would say the school is pretty great Im on my last year and I have no complains and its not true that 8th graders dont get any homework. When your in the regents program you get homework, but its worth it. You wont need to take the class if you pass the course and regents test. Overall, I recommend you go here youll have fun.

I am a Student at this School and I enjoy My Time at This School The only Problem is when you look up this school you will find bad and uncomfortable things on the news about it.And This is why I have To Change it/ Add good Things For example, The Baruch chess team Just won 27th place team Trophy but does anyone really Know about it I dont think so,Chess should be added as a real Team for our school So Baruch Just do It.

I am a student here currently moving to 8th grade on Wednesday, This school I do not recommend if you want your child to brake old bad habits. Teachers are way to laid back, students very disrespectful. Great speech and art program tho.

I graduated class of 04 from this school. I spent 7th and 8th grade here and I have to say my experience at this school definitely wasnt a pleasant one. I wasnt the best student, but I could definitely say entering into this environment changed me a lot. I was never the aggressive type and hated to fight, until tested by other students and was forced to defend myself. I would have to say in the 2 years I was there I got into about 7 or 8 physical altercations with other students, and was suspended quite a few times because of those altercations. Its an experience I wont soon forget, but I now think of it as character building. If the school is still anything like it was in the early 00s stear clear of enrolling your child here.

If it werent for the teasing and the harassment that me and my brother had to endure when we were going to this school, I would rate it a four. The teachers have to do something, and the students have to quit being jerks to one another, and to others they deem weaker... (Ive been screamed and cursed at by my peers in the stairwells. Mostly cuz my ethnicity?) I say this now because I was scared before.

Best school, full of the best teachers and classmates, for all you soon to be 7th graders, you better pray you get into the 40s house.

Many people will definitely say that this school is the worst of the worst, that is your prespective not mine. To me, this school is awesome, I cant explain how much this school had taught me through out my life. At the start of 6th grade, I was dumb, my average was a 90%. When I enter 7th grade, I started to reliaze that learning is everything, if you dont learn the future ahead of you wouldnt be the best of the best, so I worked hard, my average was 94. When I enter 8th grade, my last year at this school, I was devastated, I was going to leave this school, the school that I love really much, i am just so sad. All my friends that I have got through out my 3 years at this school will be gone, I will have to start all over again at highschool, starting at point 1. I want to cry. I want to run but I cant, I have to accept this fate of mine. 8th grade average: 100.34%. THIS MIDDLE SCHOOL WILL ALWAYS BE MY #1 SCHOOL.

Im going into 8th grade at baruch i loved it there the teachers are strict, the school is a little dirty (the bathrooms) and some kids are a little chaotic but the regents program is amazing and the teachers motivate us

Good education but they dont seem to know what XS is

Every student is a brat! About everyone curses and the teachers do nothing about it, the school wasnt even challenging for 8th graders they barely got homework throughout the year and when they did they complained that they should get less homework. Horrible school do not send your kid here

I agree with Walter White almost every kid curses there are fights very often and none of the teachers do anything about it.And some of the teachers are really passive and dont do anything when kids disrespect everyone dont send your kids if they are sensitive or insecure.
