Our daughter has been with the Goddard School - Murray Hill for over a year and a half. Weve had a wonderful experience with the school. She began at 1.5 years old and grew with the pre-toddler classroom (18-24months) with teachers who were warm, kind, and fun. They would play fun games, songs and activities throughout the day to enrich their little minds and help them grow. We loved using the app to see pictures and meal/potty updates. When our daughter turned 2, she transitioned to the toddler room with several other classmates. Having friends helped tremendously with the transition even though it was still an adjustment. The lead teachers Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Javon held several transition meetings with us to understand our daughter, her needs, and ways to best assist her. They are caring, loving, and fun teachers as well. Our daughter developed tremendously under their care.Ms. Emily and Ms. Kellyann as Directors were so wonderful and capable. They care about the kids, know what their needs are and know how to guide them properly. The facilities were modern and clean both indoor and outdoor play spaces. The curriculum is play-based and also educational. There were fun music and yoga classes offered weekly and extra in the summer time. Water play is always a hit.The only suggestion I have for the school is to consider language courses (Spanish, Mandarin, French) for families with second language needs. The detailed student reports are a couple times per year and demonstrate that the teachers care and are paying close attention to children development. We highly recommend the school!

We have been a part of the Goddard family for a little over two years now and we could not be more thrilled to have such a wonderful place to send our children. Our kids are happy, theyre learning, they love going to school. Goddard creates a safe, welcoming atmosphere for our kids, the staff is smart, caring, friendly, patient. I know they will not only take care of my children, but care of them and guide them in their learning. My kids both love going to school. The administration has been fantastically communicative, especially early on in the pandemic when everything was so unknown. They instituted clear procedural changes, communicated what they were thinking, why, and how. Theyre always available to chat and answer any question. Couldnt ask for more!

The Goddard School has been the perfect choice for our son and our family, particularly during COVID. The school has been extremely flexible and accommodating while ensuring that the children and staff are well protected. The school days are clearly activity packed, given how tired our little guy is at pick-up. But he is always ready and eager to return each morning.Communication from the school and with the staff is top notch. Updates are provided throughout the day and summaries provided at the end of each day with pickup. Its great to get a full overview of what is being covered (since a four-year-old isnt always extremely forthcoming). The teachers are always high energy, full of smiles, and clearly loved by all of the kids.We couldnt be happier with our pick.

My 2 1/2 year old son loves going to school. We are so happy with our choice to enroll him at the Goddard school. The teachers are so warm and caring. Always available to communicate any concerns or questions we have. His and our favorite teachers are Wendy and Mara (he outgrew the age of his former classroom, but they still hug him each time they see him in the hallways) and Alyssa and Ellie (he is so excited to greet them every day). The structure and activities keep my son stimulated and he comes home and tells us all about his day and friends. His language skills have advanced dramatically since starting school. The classrooms and facilities are beautiful and extremely clean. We can’t recommend highly enough!

We do not often write reviews but felt compelled given how wonderful our experience has been with our 3-year old son attending The Goddard School. First of all, the facility is spacious, clean and has a nice kid-friendly atmosphere. In our opinion, the facility is also safe and we feel the owners have gone above and beyond all safety requirements. Second, the teachers are organized and provide great care for the students. Each day is jam packed with new activities and learning exercises for the kids. We love that the facility has a spacious indoor gym and a huge outdoor play area so the kids get plenty of exercise in a safe environment. We receive a detailed report via email each day including descriptions of the lesson plans as well as pictures of our son. Our son has also been able to explore the neighborhood with field trips to the library, fire station, grocery store and several nearby parks. The owners and management have been active communicators and are always accessible and quick to respond to questions and feedback. We would recommend The Goddard School to anyone with young children and feel the school is one of the best childcare alternatives in the city at an attractive price point.

Our little guy Kai, has been attending the Goddard School for several months now. Because of the setting that The Goddard School provides, he’s continuously learning new things. Through their thematic lessons, Kai grasps many concepts and immediately applies them with us at home. As an educator there are certain things that you also look for when choosing the place where your child will be all day and I’m really delighted that our first choice, The Goddard School, has lived up to our standards.Among so many other things, and because of the teacher to child ratio, Kai receives love, attention, and many opportunities for learning. He’s happy, feels confident in his environment and shows true joy when at school. To me, learning happens naturally when the environment is set up like the classrooms at The Goddard School. They are set up for success.

The Goddard School is absolutely amazing. My 2 year old daughter has been attending the school cum daycare since it first opened it’s doors in Nov last year and we see a huge difference in her skills set already. From her social skills to her learning abilities, all have sharpened tremendously. Rami Singh and his staff take great care of her and we feel extremely safe and confident in sending our little angel to Goddard School. Great School, great management, wonderful teachers and staff. Highly recommend.

What a great experience weve had at the Murray Hill Goddard! Our son, who is 1 year old, has been there since it opened. Rami, Christina, and the rest of the team do a fantastic job through and through. The hours are convenient, the facilities are thoughtfully designed, the teachers are attentive and well-trained, and of course, everything is brand new! We are comforted by the security system they have in place, the fact that the center is thoroughly cleaned every day, the end of day reports (along with pictures and videos!) in the app, that its in a very convenient location, and that the team is very approachable and open to feedback. Highly recommend overall!

Our son is very happy at Goddard. Facilities are clean and the teachers are very nurturing. We switched day cares recently and so glad we did. The food is all organic and they always offer more food to the kids who are still hungry. They have a gym and soon getting an outdoor area. We get updates on a daily basis and there are planned activities for kids everyday. Also the leadership and owners are lovely people who listen to the feedback from the parents. Their passion for child care comes through in the caring service they provide!

We enrolled our two children in the PreK program for 3 and 4 year olds at the beginning of 2019.And its by far the best program we have encountered! The staff is very kind and caring, and extremely helpful on keeping us informed. There are numerous, engaging and fun and challenging activities planned. And the children can also explore on their own during the day any subjects they particularly excited about. The school facilities are new and very clean and well structured, making it a pleasure to visit the school and very nice for the kids. Our children are learning every day and come home so Happy!R&S

Our two year-old son enrolled at the school for about 3 months. It is sad that we need to leave due to our upcoming move to LA. It is definitely hard to find a better place for our little one to develop and grow educationally and socially. From our first day, the owner, director and staff cared for our son and prepared him for his next phase of development. Rami, the owner, and his wife have two beautiful children themselves and understand all the pain points of the preschool industry well, which drives the school’s commitment and dedication to creating a fun, educational, and nurturing environment for toddlers and preschoolers. We highly recommend the school and wish them all the best in the future!

We are so impressed with the Goddard School! Our son has been enrolled for 4 months and is truly blossoming under the leadership and teachers at Goddard. The structure and educational opportunities are really allowing him to flourish. We came to Goddard after being asked to leave a previous group family care to due our sons temperament (he was acting out and not following rules well), and he has really found a home at Goddard. I think the biggest difference is having fully trained educators as staff - loving individuals who are well-versed in toddler behavior and can spot a child who needs more individualized attention. The teachers helped us to better understand that our son was frustrated by his last daycare, where he was not being challenged enough. They advised that he play and learn with the slightly older kids, and he has really become a model citizen at Goddard. We love the staff, the environment, and the leadership at Goddard and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is a review for the owners of the Goddard School in Murray Hill. Rami and Ribli are absolutely fantastic and I have known them for many years. I have not a single ounce of doubt in my mind that if I still lived in New York I would be sending my children to this Goddard School. Their care and skill show in their everyday lives and when you have such a passion for teaching it shows. What an enriching environment to have your young minds learn when you know you have such a caring and smart team leading the school. I have many friends children who attend this school and they have nothing but stellar things to say!

First-time parents and our first day care. We’ve had our (now ten-month-old) son enrolled in Goddard since it opened, and we have been very pleased. To be honest, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from a day care when we enrolled our son, but Goddard exceeded our expectations. If you drop by, Rami, the owner, will give you a detailed description of the school’s education philosophy, how the school wants its students to learn and grow. But for me, as a first-time parent, my questions and concerns were more emotional. Will someone be there to hold my son if he cries? Will he feel safe? Does the staff genuinely care? I’m happy to report that the answer to these questions was, and remains, an emphatic “yes.” The warm welcome begins at the front door, with a ready smile from Christina, Goddards ever-knowledgeable Executive Director. Part of the Goddard School pitch is something like, “sometimes your kids won’t be ready to go home at the end of the day, because they’re having too much fun.” Fair enough, but I’d like to highlight the inverse. Dropping off our young infant—he was four months old when we started—was actually pretty tough for us. It was so much easier to handle when he would look at his teachers and smile in the mornings. When we left him at Goddard, we knew he felt safe there, he felt loved. He smiled. That feat has nothing to do with the well-organized curriculum, the technology, or the neat facilities; rather, it is an environment created entirely by the people who work in the classrooms every day. (I would like to mention Christine and Deborah from the Atlantic room. They are fantastic!) Sure, every day isn’t perfect, but I found, as our son grew and changed, that the teachers in the room were always willing to work with us to improve. New schedules, new foods, new experiences: the staff takes great pains to try to make the experience at school complementary to life at home.If we weren’t moving out of the neighborhood, we would not be leaving the Goddard School.

After one month of being open, The Goddard School (Murray Hill) has met and exceeded our high expectations. The moment you first walk inside their location on Second Avenue, you can really see everything here is all about the children. From the safe, contemporary, and sparking clean facility itself, to the smiles and warm welcomes you get every day, to the engaged teachers and staff, and to the carefully thought out classroom toys, furniture, and activities, we recommend The Goddard School without hesitation! We took several tours of other daycares in the area, and while we saw nice and clean facilities (for the most part!), classrooms we observed sometimes didnt have the correct (or advertised) teacher/child ratio, teachers were on their personal phones when they should be watching the kids, and daily activities lacked any real structure. Whether you have a 3-month old or a 4-year old, you cant really expect teachers to just wing it and let the children roll and romp around for 10+ hours every day. In addition to the varied (and standards-aligned) daily lesson plans, you can expect regular and detailed communication via the Tadpoles app. Through that interface, youll get daily updates ranging from the obligatory feeding/diapering notes, to a recap of the daily activities, to some photo highlights of your child in action. All of the above are reasons enough to consider The Goddard School, but there are two additional factors that made the biggest impression on us, and both are things you probably wont read about in their pamphlet, but rather things youll immediately observe once youre here:1 - The owner (Rami) is on site full time, involved, and passionate about delivering a top-notch experience for all students and staff under his roof. He responds quickly and acts appropriately and when needed when something is not absolutely perfect. Christina (director) and Candace (assistant director) are experienced, true professionals, and right there in the trenches with the kids whenever they can be.2 - The staff here are equally as passionate about working with children. Even though each age group/classroom has their own set of teachers, teachers in the other classrooms will also get to know your child. Its easy to have a bias for your own kid, but if you take a careful look around, youll quickly see the teachers here really know EVERY child. For the amount youll pay in NYC for daycare, you need to demand better, so if (like us), you find yourself shopping around in the Midtown East / Murray Hill area, really pay attention to the classrooms, the teachers, and the children inside. Read the parent handbook cover to cover, review the safety procedures, and look at their lesson plans. Ask questions of the directors, the teachers, and (if applicable) the owners.Again, The Goddard School in Murray Hill has checked off all our boxes so I can wholeheartedly recommend them for your daycare needs. Kudos to all, and keep up the great work!

This Goddard is the 4th daycare my son has been to in NYC (mainly due to us moving and wait lists!). Of all - this by far stands out as the best. Rami and his team are truly fantastic. They take the time to get to know each family and child individually, and it really feels like a family instead of a daycare factory you can sometimes see. My son has been thriving at this school (he just turned 1 in Jan), and hes learned so many skills already just in a couple of months that I could have never imagined at this age. I would 100% recommend this school to any parents looking - fantastic!
