Ls3 is although a small high school but it comes with great opportunities. The school offers AP classes on top of the traditional course subjects such as AP Bio and AP Statistics. The school has great arts programs such as choir, art and band all these classes offers advanced classes where students showcase their talent combined with classroom techniques at private shows and competitions. It also has many internship programs and career affiliations like natural museum of American history and Mount Sinai they also offer college credit classes at hunter college. Personally I’ve participated in some programs such as the mount sieni programs and summer internships at research labs and I’m not sure many schools would offer such the teachers are also one of the many enjoyable aspects the school offers. The teachers are not only concerned with the numbers the student present but they get to know each student as an individual and carter to them on the level suited for the student they also serve as adults any student can go and talk to bring it personal or academic.

I went to this school and It’s one of those that if you actually try hard you will succeed. I had some of the best teachers in here that were really looking to make sure that their students that were trying will be able to make it in the real world. If your looking for a school that you can just skate by and expect handouts then this isn’t the school for you. The only thing that I wish had been different was the discipline policies. There were a lot of kids that got away with so much or just treated school as time to hang out, creating a difficult environment. I ended up going to college in Florida and let’s just saw LS3 put me WAY ahead

What makes this school unique for me is the diversity with in it. The teachers of the school are one of the things that stood out to me the most. The teachers actually care about the students. Teachers are understanding on accepting late work and pushing back due dates and taking time out of their day to help students with numerous problems. The teachers try their best to get to know the students in their classes. Another thing that stood out to me from this school was the internship opportunities. Participating in an internship comes with many benefits. Having records of internships looks good on your resume, and stands out to colleges. In conclusion LSSS is a small school, and has very helpful teachers. There are no fights going on in the school, which makes it easier for the students to focus on their work, not on drama. Great principal! She’s very helpful and very good at taking feedback from the students to improve things in the school.

This school has a variety of students,. You will find extremely intelligent students and slackers who like to have fun with friends. It is not the top school in New York but you wouldnt regret attending here. Amazing teachers who care about their students and actually want to help them succeed. Not all students are disrespectful. This school is a nice small school for an average high school experience.

A lot of the teachers at this school arent here to hold your hand, you must be able to learn to be able to succeed with your classes. Some teachers arent gonna always be buddy buddy with you because thats your teacher. You must be always aware of your self worth and not to worry about the people around you messing up your chances of succeeding. This school has some of the best teachers who will devote themselves to you and help you learn. Dont listen to the people who just give a 1 star review because they were upset because they didnt have a their hand held the entire time.

The school is not that bad. You guys are over here lying. I went to this school for three years. I was always like I cant wait to get out of here. But guess what I actually miss being there. The kids dont bully constantly. Yes some kids get bullied sadly. But its really not bad once you make friends with your classmates you actually have a good time. Im now in 9th grade. In that school I was on honor roll every single marking period or semester. This school is not what it claims to be.

Everyone on here is just mad because they dont do their work, so their failing. The teachers here are so amazing and really help you. You become friends with your teachers, I even got Christmas presents from a couple. Yes, the students here are terrible (some not all). One cant blame the teachers for the students behaviors, theres just some times where you cant do anything to solve the problem. I really feel for them because some students can really be just down right monstrous and gruesome. There are some minor organization skills in this school. Like students waited for a correct schedule for weeks, then it kept on getting changed!

There are many AMAZING teachers in this school. Theyre dedicated, compassionate and eager to see their students thrive. The majority of students are unbearable, nasty and full of malice. The level of respect they have to offer for their classmates and staff members is extremely low. Although teachers are great, I honestly dont recommend this school being your first choice. No matter how full of knowledge and willingness to help they are, teachers are barely able to get through one lesson without having someone yell out or say unnecessary, spiteful remarks. If you have another choice pick the other one, if not, stay away from the crowd and join sports, or go straight home. This will keep you away from the extra negativity for the next 4 years!!

Hey, I’m a 10th grader here at Life Sciences. I would like to speak about my experience here so far. To begin, I would like to say that Life Sciences is a school that will change your perspective on high school forever. We have all types of clubs and teams for our students to join. Our mission here is to keep our students happy and educated at all times. LS3 is unique because of this. One thing that is great about us is teachers care about you and they want you to do good. You may even make a great connection with our teachers. I’ll tell you an example of this because I’m a living example of this. One teacher that has helped me is Mr. Broman. He teaches Global and he pulled me aside to talk to me. He told it’s cool to be a jokester in class but getting work done is important. Simple but so profound to me because I really need the reminder to stay engaged and do the work. Let’s talk about the safety of the school. Overall, the school is very safe. We rarely have fights and we have a strong dean to resolve problems before they become violent. I honestly hanged around the right people so that makes me supported and safe here. But like I said, everyone here is family and everyone here is friendly. I learned a lot here but one thing really stood out to me here. I’ve never been on a sports team for my school before. I got on the boys basketball this year. We lost in the playoffs but I learned that we are a big family. There wasn’t a day I went to the train alone and we had a groupchat to contact each other. We also worked hard to be better players and gave each other tips and tricks to be better. And the ride home after we lost the playoff game, I saw the real meaning of the dream of being on a sports team. Everyone joked around and we forgot about it in seconds. It was also a good way to get noticed and get friends because I’m actually pretty shy and I usually don’t make first contacts with people. Everyone accepted and we had a great season. I don’t think you can find that at any another school.

This school is garbage, I denied to go this school at first and crossed it off my list of high school transfer choices in my freshman year but they forced me to attend here in my sophomore and junior years as well as a portion of my senior year. A lot of people there just tend to laze around there and do absolutely nothing productive with their lives, and some of the teachers are pathetically disgusting as well. Although some teachers like Ms.Chen and Mr.Miller are actually good teachers, they are far outweighed by the nonsense of some other teachers. This is the only school in which even though Ive studied, Ive failed some classes, every other school Ive been to Ive had straight As but this school failed to help me keep up with my grades. It was so bad that I even intentionally failed the regents so I can transfer to some other school, because I hate the idea of graduating from this failure of a school building and then I started having straight As again as soon as I got out of there. Besides the teachers Ive mentioned and Ms. Fitch whos awesome and helped me transfer, no other teacher cares and most students there are only there just to waste their lives by getting into fights and acting ghetto because they think thats cool for some reason. THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL SCHOOL, DO NOT COME HERE.
