I had surgery here last week. I was treated “like a king” would be an understatement. The staff here is thorough, professional and they mean business! What a great experience.* I had a mass / Postauricular area removed.Thank You NYU
Student workers and Employees here are not treated fairly because of the buildings manager/director. There are a lot of incidents where xenophobic, racist words and behavior are used on student and employee. One full time employee was recently fired because she was speaking in Spanish with another full time employee in the building. The know-it-all building director did not only make most employee felt trapped inside this building, it also made events significantly not organized with very dated room and equipment that resemble early 2000s. A lot of long term (~10 years+) employees are considering to leave the building because of the unfair treatment.Student worker turnover rate is significantly high under poor leadership. It is common to see student workers depressed and unmotivated. The director also controlled and stopped student from forming its union to gain protection and help. With the unfair and sweatshop-like work ethics, I do not recommend this place for ANY event.
I attended a workshop here, and although the facilities were great for the workshop, the accommodations for nursing mothers was awful. There was no designated space for me to pump, so I had to use practice rooms that, during the summer, were being used for storage. Each one had a small window, so I had to ask for the window to be covered up so I could have some privacy. The young college students who let me into these rooms had no idea what accommodations nursing mothers need for their pumping spaces - one proudly showed me a room he had personally cleaned out so I could use it, leaving absolutely nothing inside (I politely asked if I could have a chair, at least). For a major university, and a venue that hosts visiting workshops, it is unacceptable for them not to have better accommodations for nursing mothers.
This state of the art presentation center is the property of NYU. Although it is available for private business functions, it is not open daily to the general public. The facility is clean, quite spacious and probably able to accommodate about five hundred guests.
One of the best views in the city is from the 10th floor! Perfect venue for small and large events as long as youre okay with sharing space with students.Catering is also top notch.
This place look really professional, and amazing building structures. It has many floors, and elevator is available. The. auditorium is amazing for speeches, shows, and graduation ceremony.
Nice place to hangout with friends or do private work, however you need to be a NYU student or faculty to gain access! One of the best views form the upper floors of the building!
So much goes on here. The views on the top floor of Manhattan are amazing.
My second home. I work here and eat here every day. You can also study here too. Beautiful views of the park.
Good place to go and see
Fantastic clean venue with superb views of Manhattan and Washington Square Park. The manager is great!
The Kimmel Center pleased us with Ilyasah Shabazz A Discussion and Book signing.
Great view from the 7th floor
Great view of Washington Square Park, very nice interior design
The administration for this building is extremely poor at planning events around the logistics of their elevator operations.
Great conference rooms
Awesome place for spending time..
Hate this place!
NICE PLACE
Great place for events.
View from the top of the building is awesome
Amazing view!
Very clean and people was friendly.
So beautiful
Very nice
GOOD
There are gates for students and staff, but the cafe on the second floor is open to the public. When you take a seat on the terrace, you can see Washington Square in front of you, but the trees in the park obstruct your view, so it cant be said at all. It will look better on higher floors. However, it may be good for being overlooked.
