Best audio engineering school ever!!! The entire faculty is extremely friendly and genuinely want to see you succeed. As for the teachers... You cant find anyone better! Their knowledge is next level. Also they know how to connect with their class so the students can have a better experience and are more driven to learn. Thank You to everyone @ S.A.E.!!!

A couple years back about 2016 I think it was. I went to the attendance of the open house sessions. Matter of fact went went to the audio institute of research in that same week both of the schools are uptempo to myself. Which would make it a hard choiceful decision for me to make

If I could give this negative stars, I would. I went to SAE for the night part time program. The instructors, with the exception for 2, were terrible. Then to add insult to injury, the night time classes were reassigned those two good teachers because they werent allowed to work more than 40 hours. Things went downhill from there. We even had a teacher who spent 1 hour trying to figure out how to do something on logic, just to have him waste our time and shrug like it was funny. In another instance, a teacher FELL ASLEEP while showing us A YOUTUBE VIDEO. something i could have done in the comfort of my home, minus the snoring. Unbelievable. I will always tell anyone I can to steer clear. Things get worse if I tell you how there were people doing coke. Come on now. What a mess. And an extreme waste of a dream and 28k. Save your money, passion and time. Do it yourself at home. Dont go to a place that doesnt even care, just gives fake replies about oh, were soo sorry no, trust, no one cares. They just want to suck your pockets dry, because you cant get a hold of a teacher but financial aid will be ON YOU if you breathe wrong. I figured maybe this will help someone as I am and know many who were ripped off by this campus. Dont bother replying to my review.

Saddened to see some people comment the horrible things they did about this school. It was the best decision I ever made! Ive been graduated for a week and already been sent 5 job leads a week later. Not only that, but the experience at the school was top notch. Two instructors in particular that were fantastic were Joe Totino and Nathan Rosenberg. They were hands on in their teaching and taught me to figure things out on my own, which I used to struggle with. I am happy to have gone to school here, I met amazing people and got one of kind skills.If you are unable to get a job finishing SAE after they give you literally EVERY tool you need to nail an interview and land a job in Audio, sorry but SAE is not the problem. Thank you also to Molly and Hilary in the Career Services department for being ROCKSTARS.

Top of the range music production school, part of the renown SAE brand. I I was given a personal tour and was impressed by the facilities. The school has various vocal and instrumentation recording rooms all connected to its five production studios, including the classic SSL production console.

Just Finished My First Week And My Class Is Amazing, OD Live, Mr. Ron Our Instructor Is Amazing He Has Us Studying Frequencies, Hrtz, Basic Music Sounds People Overlook. In Order To Be A Great Sound ENgineer You Have To An Ear To Hear The Music. The Best Part The School Is Opened Mon-Saturday (9am-12am) You Can Come Get On Logic, Pro Tools, Bring Unlimited Amount Of People TO Come And Record In The Studio. I Cant Wait To Record With My Classmates Because A Lot Of The Have Great Beats They Create, Some Sing, Rap And All. We Already Came Up WIth A Couple SOngs!!

Lots of studios and equipment. Not alot of one on one help.

Its only been two weeks and my mind is blown. Im an artist who came here to learn the very beginning of what we call music,and these guys get to the core,the root,of what Sound is. Frequencies,Tesla,Vibration. Expect to hear about the Beatles and the innovators.The things we overlook when we hear music. They will not baby you here,so prepare to be self reliant. Grrat sense of communkty with students. We all try to help eachother be better. Its very self Its been really introspective and DIFFICULT. But exactly what you need,a challenge. If you come here just to make beats on Pro tools,just stay on YouTube. This is the real deal.take the leap.

I deeply regret going to this school instead of getting my Bachelors.Their courses are one week-two week long introductions into rudimentary, crash course audio topics.Some of the hands on activities are very helpful, however their booking system is flooded with too many students and too little equipment for the hands on sessions to be worthwhile.I learned the most from my own equipment at home, the software they gave us and the books we had to buy, NOT the classes or their teachers.But the real point of a trade school isnt necessarily the quality of their courses, its their job programs and career services offered. SAEs career services are by far the WORST part about the program. They send out job leads daily to the alumni. Usually 80% of the job leads are internships, 10% short term low budget gigs and 10% are semi-useful entry level audio leads.LOW BUDGET DJ NEEDED FOR GENTLEMANS CLUB IN SECAUCUS NJJob leads like this define SAE.
