Love this place. My horse and I had happy years there back when I was teaching in Philly. It was a treat to drive out after classes and ride, knowing my wonderful little horse was living his best life.

Worcester aka Black Horse Stables has been terrific to me, my family and my horse. I have been there over two years, and the entire staff is wonderful. Amanda and her crew treat every horse as if they own them. We began as lesson clients for our daughter and became a family of riders, and now own and board our own horse there. There are trainers for every discipline, and lesson horses for all levels of riders. The barn is always clean, safe and filled with a caring and friendly atmosphere. Great care without the drama.

This is an excellent facility with caring, knowledgeable staff and trainers. My daughters and myself have been training at Worcester now run by Black Horse Stables for over 2 years. We also board our horse here, my horse is extremely well cared for with regular worming, scheduled farrier and vet visits. His stall is always clean with plenty of bedding and he has abundant turnout time. The stable is accommodating with my requests and offers so many services: blanket repair, show braiding and handling for vet and dental visits if Im not available. There are indoor and outdoor rings. The barn and indoor arena are heated which allows for year round riding and showing. I visited many stables in Montgomery county before deciding on this barn, it is by far the best in the area. I am a lifelong horse person with over 30 years experience.

I have been riding at Worcester Stables for almost 4 years. I started out taking lessons on a lesson horse (Shout out to Daisy!) and I now own a horse and board her there. Due to a job transfer, I will be moving out of state and have had the opportunity to look at other barns. This has been an eye opening experience and has made me appreciate the service provided at Worcester even more. I am stunned at the number of places that do not have basics such as bathrooms, adequate hay for the horses or late night checks. I am struggling to find a new barn that matches the knowledgeable barn managers, trainers, staff and amenities at Worcester for the same reasonable price (e.g., 4 bathrooms, huge heated indoor ring, huge outdoor ring, heated barn, hours that accommodate working professionals). Worcester has an adequate number of staff who are all so nice. I will miss everyone from the barn managers to the guys who keep the place up and running every single day. Ive learned so much from both my trainer and the barn management. They have made me a better and more confident horse owner.

Now Black Horse Stables, Managed by Amanda Enwright a fantastic trainer whose gotten all of us to push ourselves and have fun even when were sweating and think we cant do it...she pushes us to teach us that we can!

Ive been riding at Worcester (Black Horse Stables) pretty much my entire life and honestly I could not wish for a better barn. With two large riding rings, I never have to worry about interrupting a lesson or dangerous overcrowding. Amanda and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing to me and my horse, providing us both with knowledge and top quality treatment. I was very nervous when I first got my horse, since Im the only rider in the family, but Amanda and the rest of the crew have really helped me learn the ins and outs of horse ownership and always make sure he has what he need to be happy and healthy. Amanda has also made away shows easy and very enjoyable and Ive had the best time at shows such as HITS Culpepper, or the Colonial Classic. What I love most is the team. Everyones always so supportive and even when Im not around, I know I can count on them to make sure my horse is doing ok, and they help me with everything, even if its as simple as making sure hes wearing his fly mask. Overall this barn is by far one of the best Ive every been to and I am in love with the facilities and the staff.

I have had wonderful experiences at this barn, particularly with the help of the on the road trainer. Shes extremely professional, and really puts her clients interests and passions above all else. I recently traveled with her to Florida to show at HITS Ocala. I had never been to Ocala before to horse show, but this trainer made the process EXTREMELY easy and enjoyable. I was in the process of searching for a new horse at the time, and she even arranged for me to see 20 +/- horses in the four days I was there while in the midst of coaching other riders in and out of the show ring, prepping their horses, and taking excellent care of the horses on the trip. Back at home, she is extremely knowledgable about the rules of all three rings, and teaches you without ever scolding you. She really helps you connect with the horse and helps you build your bigger picture, while at the same time ironing out the minute details that still play a crucial role in any show ring. She is nothing but encouraging and kind to everyone she works with, whether they are her clients, or her employees. I am extremely close friends with one of the girls who worked for this trainer in Ocala, and she has said nothing but wonderful things about her. I stayed with the two of them while on this trip, and I know from personal experience that this trainer is very generous, kind, and fair to all of the people who work for her. Riding with her has truly changed my experience for the better and I would offer to work for her at any horse show, any day of the week!
