I highly recommend working with EXOS, Shawn and their team at the Olathe location. I have been highly active my entire life; from running ultra marathons (past and present), to serving multiple deployments over seas and other challenges. I have had my fair share of injuries and worked with many Physical Therapist through the VA and locally. Shawn has topped them all with his knowledge, insight and coaching. When the VA told me they wanted to give me surgery on my elbow, I was referred to Shawn through a close friend and it has been a blessing. I am now in a position where I no longer need surgery and can do things I have not been able to do in a long time because of Shawn. Thank you Shawn, the Team and EXOS!

I have been a professional athlete for the last 12 years, so I am very familiar with sports and injuries. Having chosen baseball as my career, I have encountered numerous athletic trainers and Physical Therapists to help get me healthy and back on the field. Shawn is consistent with some of the best, if not the best therapists I have worked with. He was professional, knowledgeable and a joy to be treated by him for the 4 months I was under his care. If you’re an athlete, or even someone that wants true professional treatment during therapy, look no further. Shawn was a absolute pleasure to work with!

Courtney and Shawn are awesome and truly care about your health. I had an ACL surgery on my right knee and meniscus reconstruction done 2 weeks ago. You can tell they are devoted to your recovery at EXOS in Olathe. First 2 weeks have been somewhat tough after surgery which is expected but I can see the progress already. Thank you so much for helping me get back on my feet. Will update as the PT sessions progress 🙌🏻 10/10 would recommend, they are super flexible on schedule as well.

Ive been at the Olathe facility for about two years now and have witnessed both sides of EXOS, physical therapy & sports performance. Dr. Blanchard helped me with an arm injury I acquired and helped me become stronger and healthier. Shortly after, I signed into the MLB with the Houston Astros. During the offseason, on the sports performance side, Mr. McMaster has been training me. Ive always been impressed with his eagerness to learn and dedication to each of his clients. Im impressed with the level of professionalism, intelligence, and positivity this staff brings in daily. This facility as a whole is extremely beneficial to anyone who walks in the door.

Incredibly positive experience. Our son severely injured his arm in a biking accident. Shawn and team created such a positive relationship with him that he wanted to try his absolute best to get better. We are forever grateful for their efforts.

What an absolutely amazing experience! Dr. Shawn Blanchard is nothing short of amazing! He and his entire staff treat you as if you were part of their family. So caring, kind, compassionate and so knowledgeable!I walked in skeptical after dealing with my frozen shoulder for 1.5 years and trying what I thought was everything. I tried sports injury massage therapy, chiropractic care, dry needling, graston, manual manipulation under anesthesia, stem cell and Plasma Rich Platelet treatments with PT immediately after (at a different company) and I rested from any upper body work outs for months at a time (which was the absolute hardest for me). I froze up again but worse after all of this but my insurance would not pay for me to go back under anesthesia for manual manipulation so my sports injury massage therapist performed manual manipulation with NO anesthesia. It was the most pain Ive ever experienced and now I understand why you need to be put under anesthesia. But with that being said, I gained back some of my range of motion but was still in pain and still had very little external rotation.Dr. Blanchard took me in after all of this and has helped me every step of the way with treatment! I might mention that I am a type 1 diabetic so this makes my case that much more challenging. Dr. Blanchard takes challenges with open arms and then delivers! I love his confidence, knowledge and his ability to get in and get the job done no matter how much of a challenge it is. He cares about his patients so much and even went out of his way to start seeing me during this pandemic that we are all facing right now by seeing me during his lunch breaks so that no one else was in the office since I am considered high risk if I do contract Covid-19. I cant recommend him highly enough! I dont care how far away you live, the drive to this office is worth it!

I highly recommend Boost Physical Therapy. Their state of the art facility knows no limits with innovative techniques they are able to utilize. Jake was my physical therapist at the Olathe location. His knowledge and expertise gave me the confidence I needed to work through my rehabilitation. He kept me motivated and pushed me to achieve my personal best in order to maintain and build strength while my injury healed. He is diligent in maintaining records and progress, which he shares with your medical team and appropriate personnel within the Boost staff. They hold the bar high! Thank you and keep up the great work Boost! Sincerely, Pam Harvey

I’ve had lots of physical therapy (PT) the last 5 years. Pelvic floor, hip, migraines, plantar fasciitis and shoulder. I have invested a lot of time, energy and money trying to have a life with significantly less pain. I was sent to Exos because of their affiliation with my primary care provider. My knee PT started the end of November and I was so impressed with the results we started working on my shoulder (same shoulder treated by another PT provider) the end of December. The rate at which they resolved my knee pain was astounding. I mean shocking. Before I went to see them I was taking the maximum dose of NSAIDs everyday, could hardly walk and using stairs was excruciating. Yes, this is the hardest physically, PT I’ve ever done but it has also been the best and absolutely worth every penny (and I’m frugal, I drive a 13 year old van with 197K miles and multiple cracks in my windshield around town because I don’t want to waste my “trip SUV”). My shoulder (3 weeks of therapy but had bothered me for over a decade) has been more of a challenge but they listen, they encourage, they adjust, they backed up (simpler) when it was warranted. They tap into their seeming to never end knowledge base of how to resolve MY shoulder pain. I have learned so much from them. I can tell physical therapy is their life long passion and it doesn’t matter if you’re an older, overweight, out of shape woman (me) or a young teenage athlete. They treat everyone with the same level of respect and professionalism. But at the same time as unique individuals there to accomplish individual goals. I think in todays world time is our most precious commodity. Not a second is wasted at Exos and I don’t mean that it is rushed or I feel slave driven to get my reps and sets done. I mean I think Shawn the director of this facility and his PT assistant Cortney are cream of the crop. As a 54 year old, Masters Degree Registered Nurse of 32 years Shawn and Cortney have renewed my faith in the next generation of health care professionals. They are setting the bar in my opinion for their generation. If you EVER get an opportunity to experience their care and practice, restoration or improving your physical performance take it. I promise you... you will not be disappointed.SincerelyCynthia Riley RN MSN🎚
