I was new to Omaha and my son who lives here recommended this barber shop. I loved the atmosphere of the shop, the skilled barbers, the professionalism and that fun barbershop conversations found in a black but multi-racial and all gender barber shop. I love the professionalism and mentoring of his barbers as well as others of the owner of the shop. He is definitely a big asset to the Omaha community as he strives to do bigger and better things. The best barbershop experience I’ve ever experienced. I now live in Omaha and I will and have recommended this barbershop as the best in Omaha and surrounding areas. You will not be disappointed, I assure you of that.

Been having my hair cut here for a couple of years now. They are good at what they do and youll walk out feeling like a different person! I highly recommend them and the owner is a pretty positive and encouraging person. You should give them a try, you wont regret it! Also, they require a mask, and from what Ive seen, the place is pretty clean and sanitized.

I love bringing my son here. Smiley really makes him feel comfortable. The prices are affordable and I love the fact that I can book appointments on their app.

I’m sure all these complainers couldn’t find a better barber that takes the time out to get it right. I will never change. My youngest is 15. We’ve been driving that hour since he was 3.I also wanted to add the boys like Von too but he’s always booked.

I set an appt. to get a hair cut today 12/10. Set the appt 12/9. I received multiple reminders which was nice. Was excited to finally get in with a barber. Texted me 25/30 mins before my appt. telling me to reschedule. Already paid their $3 deposit. Better get that back! To me it looks like they just finessed $3. Trash. This would’ve been my first time coming here after hearing good things but I probably won’t ever recommend or rebook. Janky customer service.

Barbers cant even show up for their own appointments. Me and my wife wont be returning. Crummy they lose 2 peoples business cause of one barber

Ive been to a couple other locations in Omaha, but this place was a tad different. The employees were all in uniforms and looked good, as well as being very nice. The shop was super clean and maintained.The gal who cut my hair did an exceptional job. Hair was edged nicely and she did a fabulous job edging my beard with the razor.Great experience.

We were in town visiting and I decided to go get haircuts for my three boys. Even with multiple barbers the wait was crazy long. However, once my boys were in a chair they got them in and out. One barber did a significantly better job than the other. The prices were reasonable for three children that even got a design. Although, the one barber that was good but not as wonderful as his coworker, put a design in my sons head and than charged me for it. I did not ask for the design nor did my child. If back in town we will visit here again.

Best barbershop in the area for sure. Always busy but very helpful to new people I’ve noticed. First time I went I had to wait a while but that’s expected at a popular spot. Really welcoming. All are great but Kerrington does amazing work! Once you start going, I would suggest using the app the use to schedule future appointments.

Easily by far the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten!! I’ve tried Great Clips, Sports Clips, 18|8 Men’s Hair Salon, and many others, and even though some of those places did alright, every time I’ve gone to Lyle Stylez & Cutz, they have blown all the other places out of the water! Not even a competition.All the barbers there are very skilled, great atmosphere, and it’s a nice change of pace to be able to have a good conversation about success principles and have a few good laughs, while a getting a haircut, as opposed to most other places where it’s typically generic, surface level conversation. Lyle Stylez & Cutz is my first choice for getting a haircut in the Omaha metro area.

Very fairly priced, involved with his community and of course gives great hair cuts! I am a woman who prefers my hair in a mens cut. Its hard to find a salon that can get it right and hard to find a barber shop where I feel comfortable. Was welcomed into Lyles and got the really great haircut I had been searching for. Wonderful atmosphere and top quality hair cut!

My son went there on 2 different occasions with an appointment and waited more than an hour and a half before leaving. No one apologized or even attempted to address the fact that he was there waiting and waiting, so apparently this is the norm. If you have nothing else’s to do and don’t mind wasting several hours of your day, then this is your place.

I have been using this barber shop for many year. Kies is my barber that I use and the quality of work is always the very best. Please keep in mind that this is a VERY popular barber shop so if you do not have an appointment you might have to wait a while. They have a app that you can set an appointment for service. It automatically sends you reminders so you can you do not forget.. Some of the bad reviews on here are from walk in customers who do not understand the barber shop culture. These barbers often work 12 hour days on there feet. You have to be very understanding if you are a walk in customer because this shop business is organized by appointments.

Love this Barbershop and I dont say that often seeing as how not every barbershop can create such a welcoming feel, The Owner is great and every barber in there is skilled,professional, and very polite. A great environment to be for anyone from kids to adults... very comfortable atmosphere with very knowledgeable barbers.

DON’T COME HERE!!!!!! IT’S A BIG WASTE OF TIME !! We made an appointment (and we had an appointment reminder email) and after an hour of waiting Lyle said we didn’t have one, so we would have to wait an hour and a half to get our hair cut.

Walk in for a Mohawk for my grandson they fixed him really nice top of the line shop. The barbers are great and you feel like youve known them for years friendly and reasonable. Awesome group of guys and one grest lady!

Arthur has been my barber for the last two years. I like that no matter if I decide to wear my hair straight or curly he is able to cut it accordingly. If your are looking for a barber Arthur (Von) Lyle would be a great person to go and see.

Don’t even waste your time booking an appointment at this shop. It’s pointless you get there and the barber won’t even be in the shop! Don’t own a business and not be there ready to open and start working at the time your business hours say you’ll open.

Waited 3-4 hours for a decent haircut. You shouldn’t let people wait this long.

They do a good job, but it they take a really long time

Was looking for a barber shop not to far north because was tired to driving so far. Had an appt set at another barber shop that morning but the shop owners was a no show and we were leaving for a trip the next day.Googled and found this place Lyle Stylez & Cutz. Barber Ron cut my husbands hair, took some time but in the end turned out perfect. He also wasnt afraid to try and cut my 16month old sons hair. Although my baby wasnt quite ready for the big boy chair and he cried and cried, Ron was very very patience with him and us. I would recommend him. The atmosphere was good and all the barbers seemed coo and layed back. Just wanna say that everyone was a new barber at 1 time in there life and every 1 perfects at there own pace😊.

I came in as a walk-in. The owner looked up at me and didnt say anything initially so I sat down. About 20 minutes later a group of guys come in and the owner greets them and asks them to check-in (didnt see check-in sign because it was facing barbers and not the general seating). I then go and get signed in. The owner asks if I hadnt checked in yet and I said yeah I didnt know; he assured me they would get me next since I had been waiting. An hour later and Im still waiting when they call 2 of the guys that came in after me. The biggest waste of an hour and a half

We have tried giving this shop multiple chances with a fail everytime. The first time we had an appointment we showed up and the lights were on but the door was locked. So we waited in the car and the barber showed up 20 mins late...I would have left much sooner if my son didn’t realky need a cut for an event he was going to....and there was no apology for the wait. The 2nd time we made an appointment for my son we got a text from the barber a hour before saying he wasn’t going to be in the shop and was going out of town. Now for the 3rd time...we received a text saying our appointment was cancelled and to use the link to schedule for another day. So once again the barber decided Not to work on a day that we had an appointment. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I don’t know how this place even stays in business because from the looks of these reviews this is the norm. It doesn’t matter how good your work is, if you don’t have good customer service it’s not even worth the time and money.

I was look a barber shop in Omaha to cut my biracial son hair. Since, most people dont cut his hair right. Im from Jamaica i know what a good cut looks like 😉. So i turn to one of my co-workers who work in Omaha location Im from Fremont. Anyways since my son is in Florida for the summer, i ask my husband to try them out, he is white. Omg, i was so inlove with the time & detail in the manner in which his hair was cut, i never saw any1 line him up like this. love love it!!! my husband love it & friends do too. Definitely will b a customer 😍😍. atmosphere was really friendly & nice so the waiting period even though was longer than what Im use to, definitely worth it.see people waiting for their hair to cut speaks volume!!!😉

It is cool barber shop but barbers that had no customers just looked at me didnt ask if i need a cut. had to ask one of the barbers for hair cut. and was a rushed cut. didnt line up my front and doesnt even look like a fade on bottom.

Absolutely the worst service! If I could, I would give this place a negative star. They only serve regulars, so if you are new forget about getting served. You will wait, and wait and they will ignore you till you leave. Shameful!

I didnt personally go here, but my brother did. He was ignored and not treated with respect. He was a teen when he went in and sat down and waited and no one served him. I hope this wasnt profiling. His hair is not as textured, but hes a customer nonetheless.

Made an appointment with a specific Barber, came 15 min before my appointment. ended up having to wait 2 hours for my hair cut, and they gave me some trainee.

Its almost 2 o clock and I been here since 10 a.m trying to get a haircut smh....never again
