Several things wrong with this place, here are a few examples...1 - Teacher told me that my child had pica because he gagged on a piece of bread that he didnt want to eat but was trying a very small piece of anyways. Pica is the eating of non food items! Either the food isnt really food or the teacher doesnt know what she talking about.2 - This school also sent my son home almost everyday without his coat zipped during the coldest part winter. On the coldest day (10 degrees) they sent him home without his coat zipped, or his hat & gloves on (which he wore to school that day due to the cold). When I called the teacher about it she said that they encouraged the student to do it themselves. Ok, I get that 100% but hes 4, has trouble getting it zipped & they are the ADULT in this situation.This woman also had the nerve to blame it on my son saying that he was probably unzipping it on the bus. Mind you this bus uses seat belts! I of course asked the bus driver & his assistant and they told me that he got on the bus with his coat unzipped everyday. They also told me that this school sent another child (same age) home without his coat at all!3 - My son only attended this school for a half a year and almost every day he was home earlier than he should have been. I asked the bus driver what time the kids were getting let out and everyday the kids were being lead to the bus a minimum of a 30 minutes earlier than they should have been.I realize that these people are not to take my place as parent in the classroom but as a parent I put my trust in these ADULTS to do what is right, especially for a child in PRE-K!I absolutely could not allow my child to be exposed to teachers who think this kind of behavior is acceptable of an ADULT!Took him out of school due to being unable to transfer him into another school close to home.WE WILL NOT BE SENDING ANY OF OUR OTHER CHILDREN TO GOMEZ AGAIN.
