My friend and I were both able to get awesome tattoos due to scheduling more time than needed for my friends I was super bummed thinking I wasnt gonna be able to get one but Brandon made it happen and absolutely rocked both of ours!! Will definitely be returning even though its a 3 hour drive from my house!!

Had my tongue pierced here. Staff was professional and I have no complaints. Bought some barbells recently and although they were absolutely swamped, they got me taken care of right away.

I was so nervous to get my double forward helixes and a conch but Nikki helped calm me down so much. The wait was only about 20 minutes and all three of the piercings took like 5-10 minutes. The cost of all 3 piercings and jewelry was $100 which is such a good price compared to most places. She wore gloves & used a different pre packaged needle for each separate piercing. She talked me through it and was very personable. She let me check to make sure I liked the placement and after she made sure I liked each piercing before continuing on to the next. The front desk people were very cool and patient. I cannot recommend this place more. I will be going back to get my left ear done once my right one heals :)

Fast, Friendly and Clean. I was terrified of getting my industrial after a decade without piercings, but the staff made it fun and stress-free. (I impulse bought a second eyebrow piercing too.) Great price too. I will be going back for more metal and eventually some more ink.

Justin is an extremely friendly artist, who makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Hes funny as hell and a cool guy that will deliver a great product. This place lived up to the hype.

Quality work but way overpriced. The cliche is good tattoos arent cheap and cheap tattoos arent good but these guys do pieces that are on par with other artists in the city for about 3x more. Big shop and friendly staff though.

I’ve gotten almost all of my piercings done here by Dave Brown and I couldn’t be happier! Dave is absolutely amazing each time I go whether it is for a new piercing or just a jewelry change. He’s always kind, patient, and understanding and makes you feel comfortable. I’ve had piercers in the past that I haven’t felt comfortable with or they rushed the process and messed it up, but Dave has never done that and always takes his time to make sure it’s done correctly and looks how you’d like it to. He’s the only one I trust with my piercings and I’m going to continue going to him each time!

Great time coming in here, I got a pair of piercings redone and it was such a pleasant experience. Got all the correct aftercare knowledge and it was a fun time. I will always recommend them. 7 piercings and I’ve never had a problem.

The piercers are nice and all and told me what to do and how to clean my piercing, but my piercer didnt use gloves when piercing my belly button.

I got my nose pierced two weeks ago and my piercing fell out 5 times, last time I couldn’t find it. Nor put any of my other piercings in it cause my nose is still swollen so they won’t fit. I went back 2 days ago for them to put a new one in, right this time so it wouldn’t fall out, and guess what happened? You guessed it! I’m currently driving to get a new one that will work, with an earring in my nose. I don’t know if it’s the quality of studs they have or that they can’t tighten them. But I should not have to pay $60 for a piercing that won’t even stay in. Go somewhere else.

So I’ve been to a lot of tattoos shops around the world, but I’ve never heard of a “no touch ups” policy ever. I walked up to the desk and asked if they do walk ins / same day tattoos. He said yes we have time slots and what are you thinking of getting. I said, “have fun” and a flower on fingers. I showed him a reference (I wanted same lettering on my hands because I have them tattooed already) and a small flower that is also already tattooed on me. Very basic style of letters and easy reference. He said it wasn’t possible and I told him I’ve already been told yes it can because I went somewhere days ago and informed it can be down. He then explained to me it would “fade” quickly and I said touchups are free right. He said no. I said thanks and walked out.

I decided to go in today for another piercing and as usual I was NOT disappointed! I have had my nose, tongue and now the rook done here and this was definitely the least painful. Dave was very kind and patient! I highly recommend!

Clean establishment. Very busy, but only had to wait 30 minutes for my dermal piercings. Clayton was very personable and takes pride in what he does. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

Had my septum done. I was super excited, but worried Id faint (which Ive done in the past after getting a piercing). Clayton was INCREDIBLE. So nice, genuinely cared, very engaged. The shop is very clean and organized. Best piercing experience Ive ever had.

Front staff were friendly and the piercer was personable and really good at his job! Prices are super reasonable. They do get busy in the evenings, but its worth the wait!

Front desk lady is extremely rude. I received a red ink tattoo from them and had a reaction. I had no idea I was allergic and now my entire tattoo is a scar. I didn’t know prior that people of color tend to have reactions to red ink. I wish they would have recommended a color sample prior being that they know this can happen with red ink. The owner handled the issue well and refunded my money for the tattoo and offered me 2 hours in tattoo. Now that I’m trying to redeem the gift cards I’m having a difficult time.

I went to get a conch piercing a month ago and the experience was more than perfect. Fast and quick (besides annoying waiting time), and it didn’t even hurt. The piercer was so sweet and reassuring and did it privately. Went a second time to get a daith and a different piercer pierced me and he didn’t even tell me when he was piercing it and was talking to his coworkers about non work stuff the entire time and surprise pierced me. On top of that, he messed up mid way and most likely used unsanitary taper to fix it, because it got infected right away. I would suggest to really get to know the piercers. Will go back only with the piercer that pierced me the first time, will not do random walk ins anymore.

Jed did my tattoo and it is amazing! He was personable, enthusiast and entergetic. Some artists can be intimidating, and it can feel like its just a job. It truly felt like Jed has a passion for people & art. I love my ink, thanks Jed for helping me share my story, my grandma would love it!!

The lobby of studio is nice and the person working the desk was courteous when we discussed my idea for a tattoo. I was disappointed that the artists seemed unwilling to help develop a tattoo to meet my vision; it seemed like they wanted me to bring exactly what I wanted or not get a tattoo there. When I tried following up via email the response was slow at first and then they just stopped responding so Im taking my business elsewhere.

We were unable to get the Tattoos we wanted as there was no artist willing to do it as we wanted.

Got my daith done here, but getting help from Dillan recently was great. So kind and helpful!

Went to Big Brain to troubleshoot what I already believed was a botched piercing I received from another studio. I did not plan to do it at the time I did, but the ball came out and there I was driving to Big Brain in the middle of the night. Thank the lord I did as the piercing was botched far worse than I even anticipated! However, Dave Brown was a savior he pierced me again (correctly) and he was completely gentle plus informative. I just wish I went to him to begin with. Dave, if you see this thank you again for fixing it and being so kind to me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!

Doesn’t take DACA ID which is government issued as form of identification. Had someone I know call and I guess owner said he can choose to take what forms of ID he’d please at his business. Clearly can run his business however they’d like but I welcome you to take your business to a more inclusive, professional, and simply put better shop. There is plenty.

The lady that pierced my septum pierced it crooked and the needle stabbed my nostril when the needle went thru the part of my nose that was supposed to be pierced and i felt it when it stabbed me she didnt say anything about it which made me mad i was hoping shed say she did it and apologize for messing up but she didnt, and she tried to sneakily move my skin so it would unhook from the tip of the needle like she thought i didnt notice. Its not extremely noticeable that its crooked but still. Also she used a sharpie instead of a cheap marker which just tells me she reuses the same marker on every person shes doing a piercing on which is totally not clean. No one is going to throw away a sharpie after every usage. :) She was nice though so Ill give you that but thats it.

It was an OK visit. I understand it is the costumers idea to come up w the design, but I think the artist should also contribute to it. Add some opinions, maybe. Especially if the person is not too sure. I felt like the artist was just there to draw and do an OK job.Now, dont get me wrong, he did took his time and made sure to ask if I liked what I saw before he started, but I didnt feel the connection. Like, no input. A little disappointed, as this is a very well known place. I was expecting an out of the ordinary experience. Not this time. Ill give it another shot later on. See if they can make it up.Price wise, it was fair. I have nothing to complain on that department. He was clean, through, professional, and respectful. Kudos.If anything, maybe a little for interaction with the customers. Ease the tension. Some times we are more nervous than anything, and some reassurance from the artist is always soothing and encouraging that were getting the right design. Just a tip :)

They do not accept DACA IDs, which are a valid form of identification. That is what they are used for. Got piercings here a while ago and I liked them but it is better to go to a slightly more expensive shop that is more inclusive than support a shop like this one.

Nick Kelly is an amazing artist, he took the time to redraw the tat I wanted and made it actually look better than the original. The artist all seem amazing. Though, Big Brain has a lot more customers than other places as they are very popular so I can see why they charge a lot more for tats. Ive gotten large tattoos at other locations for the exact same price that I got a small tattoo done here.

I got my ears pierced here the other day. I’ve also came here with a few friends to get tattoos. Every time I’m here, the place is very clean, modern, and unique. In addition, all of the staff is non-judgmental, understanding, and friendly. The person who pierced my ears was sure to explain what he was doing and why, and made great conversation!

Every part of my experience here was excellent. Not new to piercings, but was very nervous about getting my nipples pierced. It was very quick, and the piercer was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. The pricing is great, make sure you check out the the website for $10 off- I added that to the tip! Will DEFINITELY be coming back here for future piercings.
