The OC Dance Studio did a phenomenal job preparing us for our wedding dances, couple, father daughter, and mother son. I appreciated their patience with us learning the steps. And by us, it definitely was me who needed the extra attention. Thank you for the beautiful moments.

I attended OC Dance because of the location close to home but was very disapointed. The price is fair but the the lessons are poor. I took group classes for Salsa and Bachata and the instructors are good yet they dont know how to teach. I have attended several dance schools for Salsa and Bachata but they are further so I thought I try this close to me. Since I have attended different schools I was able to see the difference, compare quality, professionalism and communication. In OC Dance, they go over too many steps which they dont explain properly. They also dont teach the womans steps so as a follower its very difficult. When I tried to explain this to the owner Val, in a very nice way she got defensive, not rude just defensive so I just stop going. I do not recommend it, there are my more schools in the area that are professional and care about their students.

This is the place to go if you want to learn how to dance. Down to earth teachers and staff. Top rated ballroom teachers in the country!!

Serious about dancing? Just wanna have fun? How about SERIOUS FUN?? Either way, this IS the place to dance. Val and Rosta are the REAL DEAL. Serious competitors themselves, their passion for dance comes through in every lesson. They actually care about you learning and will take you as far as you want to go. Bottom line, Val and Rosta are superior instructors and you couldnt make a better choice than Orange County Dance.

I’ve been taking lessons at O C Dance Studio for over 11 years. I’ve known the professionals instructors to be helpful and encouraging. They go out of their way to accommodate their students and the needs of the community. It’s always fun, it’s good exercise, and I would dance anywhere else!

(To the Owner: I noticed that you replied to another negative reviewer by saying you didnt have her/his name on your records. You will not have mine either as I am giving my review under a name other than my own. I actually want to come back until I find another Hip Hop Beginner Class, only because the fun was with the other students, not from the class instruction. My comments that follow are not intended for the purpose of being mean or negative but in hopes that they will be taken into consideration to improve your studio. You have a beautiful place, energizing place to offer your students.) As for my Review: The word Beginner should never have been used for this class. The instructor didnt teach 7 to 10 moves to us that we could all have fun doing over and over to perfect it, which I would have expected to be the case. The definition of beginner is a person who is learning the fundamentals: or a person who is inexperienced; a novice. We were shown (not taught) at least 20 moves in a class that lasted for 45 minutes. It could be labeled for beginners if they mentioned it was for those who have other types of dance experience already. Those students did very well during the class. Additionally, the instructor showed no enthusiasm whatsoever. She had to check her phone three times to remember what step she was suppose to show us next for the routine we were being taught. And, who thought we would be learning a routine in a 45 minute beginner class! I just didnt get why she was teaching so many steps in such a short period of time.

The classes are fun and the instructors great I(Ive only ever taken it with Abby)! It might be a little intimidating at first for total beginners, but its fun and Ive told my friends about it too!

I love this place! The weight loss/latin cardio dance class is for everyone and all levels of fitness. Everyone is there to work out and forget the troubles of the day! The routine and energy of the class are awesome! I’m a busy working mother of 3 boys all under 10 years old and this class is better than having a glass of wine at the end of the day! And that is hard to beat!!

OC Dance Studio is my second home, and I wish it was my first. I take hip hop classes with Mitch twice a week, and you couldnt wish for a kinder instructor. Every class is totally different, with different combinations in different styles. But you never feel stupid because Mitch is such an amazing teacher, who breaks everything down into simple steps and then encourages freestyling anyway. Theres always something for beginners to latch onto, and for experienced dancers to test themselves. In addition to this, Mitch talks about connecting to your own body and using dance to bridge mental hurdles, and he is just so dedicated to his art. I leave every class feeling like a new person.I also want to point out that Val, the studio manager, knows everyones names and stories and is incredibly welcoming. She takes videos of each class that you can watch yourself improve over time (it really works!!!). And she is always happy to see you. The whole studio has such a warm, welcoming feel. It really is like having a family to take you in at the end of the day.I am 36 years old, and would never have anticipated taking up hip hop a few short years from 40. But it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The joy of dancing again in a judgment free zone is priceless - that said, classes are ridiculously cheap and at times that make them really easy to attend. And theyre drop in, so if you cant make it one week, no big deal.I cannot recommend this studio highly enough!!! Thank you, OC Dance Studio (Val and Mitch especially), for all you have given me.

The owner is a horrible horrible lady. A bad person and horrible with kids and parents. Never subject your child to this studio
