Great Martial Arts studio - theres a real good vibe when you walk in and they all have such a positive encouraging attitude. All the students (younger kids especially) seem to really enjoy their time and take to the instructors disciplined lessons/activities while having fun and maintaining the code and ethics of martial arts. Great experience over all, and I highly recommend this studio. Management is great, reasonably, and responsive to questions and concerns. They are also following all CDC guidelines and taking safety measures.

Took my at the time Kindergardener out of the YMCA after school program for lack of structure and any sort of discipline. At the time we were struggling with some mild behavioral issues that I think were related to the YMCA. There was an immediate change in my sons behavior almost as soon as we started at 5T. My son LOVES the After school program and the summer camp. He is more confident in himself and his behavior has since improved. Mr Jeremy and his staff are all wonderful and I couldnt say enough great things about this program.

Having been a lifelong martial artist training both adult and youth students I can attest to the level of effort and integrity you can easily see at 5 Tenets. Training todays youth take incredible patience and care. Parents need a facility that promotes values over violence, and compassion over perfection. That is not to say skills are lacking here, students are allowed to progress at their own pace and one can recognize the growth and confidence of the students. If your family is looking for a great neighborhood dojo you have found it!

Hands down the BEST!!! I have had the privilege of knowing Mr. Roque for many years and he cares for all his students and staff. His students are top notch martial artist and competitors. If you want the best then Five Tenets is the only place for your child!

This is HANDS DOWN the best program for kids. My son Easton absolutely loves it. Every class he is excited to show me all of the new moves he learned!! I can’t thank five tenets staff enough for what this program has done for his confidence 😊We tried a lot of the local schools but were immediately drawn in after the trial classes. I could see how much they truly cared about the students.

So far so good. I am not gonna lie some days my child does not want to go since she is more on the outgoing side instead of staying still. BUT they teach self control, respect, discipline and when your child is having a good class they make sure to let them know. When your child is struggling.. They make sure to spend extra time to show the correct way. We love all the instructors and their personalities and I have no doubt their love their job and their students. Yes it is an investment but when you see your child getting their strips, tests, and new belt you know they have learned. This school will not pass your child to a next belt just because you are paying, they make sure your child goes at their own pace and that they actually learn from the classes. Nothing is given, everything is earned and they make sure the students are in the right path. Yes

A modified nursery which teaches NOTHING on self defense. But entertains parents. I saw my little nephew been told to hit a pad w a multiple one leg roundhouse kick when he wasted weeks there doing some consuming pre-work out..nor was taught how to put a good square with the arms, the basic front kick which is a must.Next session was a combo of a right hand 45 degree punch followed by an open hand thumb stroke haymaker..( You can get your thumb dislocated easily...The kid was losing interest very fast...A waste of money....If you want your kid to learn how to get knocked out cold by todays surprise sneaky punch go there then.and useless daycare nonsense whatsoever salad of techniques designed to WOW parents !!!You are warned...PD. Im a retired law enforcement officer...

Great staff, my son love this place and is feeling alot more confident in his young life with the life skills he is learning.

Having nearly 25 years of martial arts experience, I can honestly say that the quality of training offered at 5 Tenets is among the highest Ive seen for both children and adults. The instructors are highly knowledgeable, professional and skilled both in their execution and teaching ability. Each class is a high energy experience that leaves the student wanting more! Ive been here for 4 months i was at a different karate school and switch to 5 tenths when i got there ,there was amazing employees and they are very patient and teaches you have to have good techniques. I love this school!

This is my daughters fourth year at 5-T and she loves it! She has so much fun in the after school and summer camp programs and enjoys her karate class. Not only has she built great friendships with the other kids, she has really developed as a person through the guidance and care of the instructors. They are truly like our extended family! I know that when my daughter is at 5-T she is in a safe and caring environment where she is productive and having fun. As a parent, it is so important to have that peace of mind trusting your children are well cared for. I am excited that my son will soon be joining the 5-T program as well, and look forward to all the wonderful things he will do there.

Great after school program with caring instructors! The owner is present most of the time and ensures attention to detail. We are treated like family and everyone is so pleasant. My son enjoys the camaraderie and I am happy he is learning the values of martial arts and getting exercise. Price is affordable, too!

My daughter loves this class. I was very happy to see other little girls there and enjoying themselves too. I have heard of other places specifically asking why put a girl in martial arts, here they accepted her with was no questions. They treat everyone like they have known us for years and Ive only been here for about a month. They are respectful to the children and have fun in their teachings. You can tell it is the passion of Mr Jeremy, Mr White, Mr BK and all that have helped out, to teach martial arts. I hope it never changes.

We have loved every single minute of being a part of the 5T family (over 2 years now). The experience has been great from the very first phone call with Mr. Jeromy, to every single class and even Summer camp. The staff is amazing. Mr. Whyte and Mr. Jeromy are outstanding leaders. We absolutely LOVE 5T! The instructors all truly have a passion for teaching martial arts and it shows. My kids have an amazing time at their summer camp each year and my son has learned so much from each of the instructors while training twice a week. My daughter has grown physically and intellectually while taking part in this program. She does lessons and the aftercare program. Mr. Jeremy has this place running on a tight schedule and all of the kids are engaged at all times. My daughter leaves with a huge smile and confidence every day. I highly recommend this place!

Love this place! My son has been coming here since he was 4! He is now 6 and so proud of how far he has come! I love the attention that Mr. Whyte, Mr. BK and Mr. Jeromy give the children. My 8 year old son really enjoys his lessons at Five Tents Martial Arts Center. He is learning patience and discipline weekly in addition to flexibility and smart decision making skills. The instructors are very knowledgeable and work well with the kids. Highly recommended!

Five Tenets has become a family affair. First my two children started with afterschool and then I joined the adult classes. I love the discipline and life lessons as well as fitness my children are attaining. For me, the adult class has finally pushed me into working on my physical fitness. The adults have a lot of fun together and Ive added some great friendships too. Five tenets is a wonderful family place and the teachers are top notch addressing not only the Martian arts aspects, but life lessons for children and adults alike. Could not recommend this place more!

Its always so nice walking in to 5 tenets. they know EVERYONE by name and ask how your day has been. ever since my son has become a member he has found a new confidence in himself and his athleticism. I never have to beg him to go to class because he looks forward to seeing all his instructors. never a word of judgement only constructive criticism and encouragement from each instructor. they are an amazing team that put huge smiles on all the students faces!

My oldest has been going to 5t for the past 6 years and my youngest since she’s been able to. Staff is great & friendly! After school program is awesome. Summer camp is amazing too - they always do fun things daily with the kids.

Excellent, loving, caring, amazing and the best martial arts center in central florida. I have only had my son for close to 1 1/2 yr and my son LOVES IT. The black belt leaders are patient and loving teachers. This center really cares, respects and loves your kids. . Summer camp is also a fantastic and fun feature for your child. Just know that your complete deposit will be lost in addition to them wanting 2 additional months of payment after cancellation So in the event that your child (mine was 6) decides he or she Really does not want to do karate it’s a total lost...This review was just to inform others on there process of cancellation because it sure was not explained to me so I would recommend a bare minimum deposit (mine was 500.00) so if the child decides not to continue with the sport it would not be much of a lost the tryout period is not enough time my son enjoyed that but about a month after full enrollment is when he became bored of the sport. Read the contract ask about all fee’s belts, Competition, uniforms, etc....Possibly shop around

Both my children go here and I have even joined the adult class! They are patient yet firm and my kids have grown during their time here. We plan on keeping 5t in our family for years to come.
