We do not often write reviews but felt compelled given how wonderful our experience has been with our 3-year old son attending Piaget Academy. First of all. the facility and the amazing playground is spacious , super clean and has a nice kid-friendly atmosphere. In our opinion, the school is also safe and we feel the owners have gone above and beyond all safety requirements. Second, the teachers are organized and provide great care for the students. Each day is jam packed with new activities and learning exercises for the kids. We love the huge outdoor play area, with a FOREST theme, so the kids get plenty of exercise in a safe environment. The Director have been active communicator and always accessible and quick to respond to question and feedback. We would recommend Piaget Academy to anyone with young children and feel the school is one of the best childcare alternatives in the city at an attractive point.

Our daughter has been at piaget academy for two years. The preschool curriculum is the best in Orlando, and it has been the perfect school for my child. I also love their vegetable garden where the kids learn how to grow their own vegetables and learn how to eat and enjoy they as well. It’s the perfect place for our conscious discipline family, and the teachers are creative, nurturing, and attentive. I can’t imagine a better place for her to spend her preschool years.

Awesome school ! Well organized and diverse. The kids always have activities going on and learning. The school does playing like 4 times a year which is very good for a child’s development in public speaking. They pick the kids up from Elementary school and help with homework after school which is awesome because I work a lot and that is a stress off of my chest. Been going here for 7 years now never had any problems!! They are very clean. Both of my kids love it there and look forward to go everyday. They awesome do summer camp where the kids go on about 3 to 4 Field trips a week ! I recommend This school for kids 1-10 years old !!

Definitely not the way we wanted our daughter to learn about her first teacher she adored.

My child has been attending Piaget Academy since she was 6 yrs old. She loves Piaget Academy! She enjoys doing the musical plays Piaget holds annually; not to mention their summer camp field trips. I love that the children are always involved in some sort of project or physical activity. The children also get plenty of time to complete homework, which makes it easier for me to check it in the evening when we get home. The teachers are also very pleasant and professional. Thank you Mrs. Judy its been a pleasure :)

This was the only daycare/preschool of many I have trusted my daughter to attend. The school is filled with loving and caring teachers/staff that love and comfort the children. They do a great job with the academics and curriculums. It was at first challenging as a parent to get adjusted, you have to be super hands on when it comes to homework and projects. They did such a great job all year around keeping the parents entertained with the shows and plays the kids were involved in. I was also highly impressed with the nutritional breakfast and lunch provided daily. Its a bitter sweet moment but my daughter has to move on up in this world and i must say she more than prepared for kindergarten thanks to the hardworking staff.

I sincerely appreciate ALL the care and concern from the owner, the teachers the assistant at the front desk and the sweet woman who is the cook that took the time to make sure my daughter ate her lunch! The environment is very warm and loving. I am truly heartbroken to take my daughter out due to an ongoing family circumstance. When I first came to Orlando from Weston, I researched for a school that satisfied my sons needs. Piaget Academy its been a great school for my almost 5 year old son ever since he first started when he was two. they have an excellent curriculum and thanks to that and the great job from the teachers my son already knows how to read. Their classroom organization using different play centers create an amazing learning environment for them to grow. They also have the children doing amazing plays to celebrate holidays, my son loves to be part of them since he loves to sing and dance. You can also tell the dedication from the Staff members, most of them even speak three languages (English-Spanish-Portuguese) which helps to create a culturally rich environment for the children and a warm welcome for their parents. Next year my son will go to elementary school and my first choice for aftercare definitely will be Piaget Academy again. Thank you for all the dedication. Exitos Piaget Academy!

Let me start off by saying that the curriculum at this daycare is excellent that is why I gave them two stars. They lost the other three stars because of the lack of supervision and concern for the parental complaints regarding their child. There are quite a few instances that I can speak on regarding my own child. First my daughter was in the class with Isabelle and Maria Elena. If your child is in the class with Maria Elena please pay close attention to your child because she does not watch or care about the children at all. Under Maria Elenas watch because Isabelle had left early for the day my daughter had a cut on her face right above her eye. I asked Maria what happened to my daughters face and she replied it didnt happen here it happened at home. I was livid because I bathe my daughter every morning and every night I know when something happens to her. Second incident my daughter wrote on the table with a crayon like most 3 yr. olds do and Maria chased me down to tell me what my daughter did wrong but could not tell me about cuts or bruises on my child. Third, my daughters index finger was slammed in the door to where the skin on the tip of her finger was hanging off and I never received a report regarding the matter. When I questioned them about it no one could seem to have a response for me. After questioning them when I arrived to pick my daughter up from daycare I saw her teacher sitting down with the report on a clipboard filling it out only to pacify me. I know it was the report because she had my daughter questioning her about what happened to her finger. Mind you this whole time I made the owners aware of every incident and they too just brushed it under the rug. I dont like to hold grudges so I was still a supportive parent with whatever the school needed and I even volunteered my time and money to the school outside of my weekly fee. My reason for taking my daughter out of this daycare early was because while under Maria Elenas watch again a little boy took some scissors and cut my daughters braid off to the nape of her head. I was not told about the incident nor was a report written. I expressed my concern to the owner Lillian and she said that she would look at the camera and call me to let me know what happened. Lets just say I am still waiting on that call. Loved the curriculum that is the only reason why I let her stay so long. She was there for almost three years but I should not have let this go on for so long. There are more incidents but I think I have written enough for you to get an understanding regarding the quality of supervision your child may receive at Piaget Academy off of Raleigh St..

I went to this institute because it is close to where I live and has a good review, but my experience was not pleasant, I was interested in the vkp program for my son and according to the information that was provided to me, it seems to be very exclusive for the children that go only to that program because it was free, I even asked if they could show me the school and they told me that children who go to vkp are not given a tour and do not give them food because it is a free program. Anyway, my son will not take him to that school. Not with this I would say that it is a bad institution, but my first meeting with them was not the best, I did not feel comfortable with the way they put a mark of children who only go to vkp, and children who go full time

I went to this institute because it is close to where I live and has a good review, but my experience was not pleasant at all. My son went there for maybe 2 or 3 months , he is 2 and half years old, because he pushed a kid He was placed under one week observation and the Director gave me a flyer to get him speech therapy. Let me tell you this now. my son does not have any speech impairments , she also tried to tell me he is not meeting his developmental milestones. They only give me report when he misbehaved, never got a praise report. He is two years old and he is a boy. They just want every kid to be calm so they dont have to deal with them . They even wrote me a note talking about he was running in the class during circle time and was not using his walking feet, Are you kidding me ? I have seen other kids hitting each other in that class, but again mine was African American not Brazillian or Hispanic like most of the staff there. I felt like my kid was being picked on and I withdrew him from the school. The day I went to withdraw him , the director didnt even bother talking to me or asking me why Im taking him out of the school? All she said was I need it Im writing please. Oh and my kid was always hungry , he is a picky eater so they just leave him without food for the entire 6 to 7 hours he was there, didnt even bother asking me his likes or preferences. Im like I took him out of this school.

PART 2While I love seeing a kid express their creativity, their curriculum is a little out there. Like painting a hurricane with eye shadow applicators. They’ve sent home sticky paper with jello water all over it. It’s interesting and I know the kids are having fun but I’m not sure how much a 3 year old understands of learning about the weather. I would of liked to see him singing more songs and practicing letters and numbers. Which he hasn’t seemed to progress on much while attending Piaget. But now a month at his new school and he has improved so much! 3 year olds should be studying basics. Not deep studying into weather patterns.Their classrooms are not set up for success. There’s toys everywhere and they play, sleep, eat and learn in that room, sleep in that room. They expect kids to listen when there’s so many distractions. They allow too much free time and this is when my kid has been hurt and gotten in trouble. There’s no structure. My son was always covered in bruises. I thought it was normal but a month at his new school and no more bruises. Just shows how little he was watched.I kept all these issues to myself up until the last exchange and I just couldn’t anymore. I kept quiet because my son was comfortable but the blatant disrespect was too much. After the hurricane my husband and I missed a lot of work and had an expensive emergency. We got a little behind on tuition. In the past I have forgotten to pay because you can only pay at the front desk and sometimes no one is there or there’s a line and I’m in a rush so it can slip my mind. These multiple times they never charged me a late fee. I’ve also witnessed them speaking to other parents and dismissing their late fees.Fast forward to now, I went to go make a payment and speak with Judy about my account. I explained to her my situation and she said “well we all have problems”. I said I will try to catch up this week and put it in writing. The next morning I drop my son off and in front of other parents, Lilly asked me when I’m going to pay my balance. I lost it. Up until this time I never complained about any of what I said above but I couldn’t keep quiet anymore. I wrote Judy an email about these issues. The next day she pulled me into her office to call me rude and demand an apology all while not addressing the issues. Her excuses are as follows 1) she reviewed the tapes of when Lilly asked about my account and there weren’t “that many parents in the lobby”. 2) the Spanish only speaking girl watching my child was just a “teachers assistant” so it’s ok that no one is there to tell me about my child’s day. 3) she doesn’t know why I wasn’t charged late fees in the past but she can go back and charge them now because “I can”. 4) DCF did have problem with my sons physical form so she LIED TO DCF saying my son doesn’t attend anymore when he definitely did and the form was legit so she had no reason to lie. That just shows her character. This was all she addressed. This conversation got heated in front of my child which is as unprofessional as it gets. They pick and choose who they charge late fees to. Once you piss them off and are not one of their “chow” buddies then be prepared for blank looks and passive aggressive behavior. She has bullied and harassed my family. After this incident they didn’t even acknowledge my presence or my child’s which made me feel uncomfortable. Even though my child was content, I was forced to go to a new school. I would never suggest this place to anyone. My sons new school is great and set up better by actual professionals. I pay more but saving money to go through what we went through was not worth it.

PART 1Piaget has the worst customer service and my child did not thrive there. The owner, Judy, is extremely rude. She talks over you with this tone that literally makes my skin crawl. Most of the teachers we had in the year he attended were great but I just couldn’t deal with the owner and her unprofessional sidekick Lilly, anymore. There’s a high turnaround for teachers so that was the first red flag that there is problem with management. My 3 y/o was having behavior problems because they switched his class and he had trouble adjusting. Plus we had a new baby on the way. The owner flat out said my son needs therapy. She forced his teacher to take video of him acting out on her personal phone. The teacher showed me these videos and expressed how uncomfortable she was taking them and that my son is a good kid and will get past this stage. Mind you, he attended Piaget for months before this behavior began with no problems. I asked several times to call me when he was acting out so I could go there and address it but they never called me. Only gave me written reports. I spent hundreds of dollars, hours of time and missed work to bring him to a therapist and behavior specialist that both said he was normal. A couple weeks later with some redirection, the behavior stopped. They put me through so much stress at the end of my pregnancy for nothing and didn’t take the time to work with my child before threatening to kick him out. Like he was an accountable kid when he was only just a toddler.Several times I went to pick my son up I couldn’t ask about his day because the girl watching him didn’t speak English. And the last teacher he had was constantly frustrated with the kids and I didn’t like the way she talked to them. My child doesn’t respond well to berating which I’m sure contributed to his behavior. I kept him there longer than I should have because the other teacher was great. They lost my sons clothes when switching his classrooms. They’ve switched his class several times and never gave me notice to even prepare him for this change. I called about his missing stuff and never received a call back or apology. I paid for a mat and later found out for several months he was napping on a sleeping bag on a hard floor! My sons doctor pre-filled out physical forms with the month and year and filled out the rest when seeing the patient. Apparently this looked fraudulent to them and Lilly called me a liar in a lobby full of other parents. Saying the pen marks weren’t deep enough after I told her I watched the dr fill it out and hand it to me. I again had to take time off work and drive to the other side of town just for the drs office to call Piaget and say it was an original. The dr office requested the person at DCF who said this form wasn’t acceptable so they could get info on how to fill the form out correctly. They couldn’t provide that info so they obviously were lying and this dr does 100 physical forms like this a week and never had an issue until now.I walked in several mornings to the kids praying while listening to Christian songs when it was never outlined in the start paperwork or told that there would be faith based teachings taught to my child. When I was originally looking for a school for my son l explained to Judy that I needed full time right now but part time by summer when I would be on maternity leave. They said part time would be available. Come summer time and all of a sudden there is no part time because they didn’t have enough students. Part time availability was the reason I signed him up at this school. I was forced to keep paying full time rates while I wasn’t working because it was best for my son. I lost so much money because of their incompetence. I’ve paid for several days of daycare that my son never attended.EDIT: THEYRE LYING IN THEIR RESPONSE! WHO WOULD LET TUITION GET A FEW MONTHS BEHIND? THE TEACHER TO STUDENT RATIO IS AT BEST 10/1. THE KIDS RUN CRAZY. THE OWNER IS A LIAR TO PARENTS AND DCF. THEY DONT WORK WITH FAMILIES. THEY HAVE THEIR FRIENDS WRITE THEIR REVIEWS. FRAUDS!!!

I want to say thanks to all Piaget Academic’s team because we had a very great experience while my daughter was there for about 2 years. Also, she attended her VPK here where she learned a lot of skills that have been very useful during her present kinder class. As a result, she is a successful student in the school; now kinder is a piece of cake for here, and a relief for us. Another element is the dedication that every single member of the staff has with kids. For example, in every multicultural event that they sponsor, we, as a family were invited to be part of it. In addition, it helps our kids to understand the reality that we are living today; it helps them to be more open mind and tolerant. In fact, if I have another kid, I hope to have the opportunity to register with them.

We always thought that this was a good place for them, but we really found out how great is Piaget Academy, when we had to start looking for another daycare in the city where we are moving. We have been visiting many daycares in the last two months. Looking for a safety, clean, nice, and good program as Piaget Academy has. However, it was almost mission impossible. Many daycares have good programs but on the other hand, they do not have safety or a nice structure. Finally, we found one that meets the criteria that we are looking for. But we know that we will miss all Piaget academy teachers, in special Miss Judy, Miss Lillian, Miss Lisa, Miss Isabel, Miss Maria Elena, Miss Agatha, Miss Iany (mother), Miss Iany (daughter), Miss Amy, and the healthy and delicious food of Miss Ety.For four years, we went to work with the peace of mind that our three daughters were well care at Piaget Academy. For that tranquility, we just want to sincerely say THANK YOU to all the staff that works at Piaget Academy, WE WILL MISS YOU.

This is the best preschool I could choose for my daughter. I live in Altamonte Springs, and I am really happy I found a job here in Orlando, so my daughter can have the opportunity to study at Piaget Academy. I used to be a stay at home mom, and when she turned 3 I decided it was time for school, she was really needing to be around other kids and be in a place where she could have a routine and discipline, it was being very hard to accomplish this with all the duties I had at home. Well, she started in June at Piaget, and I can clearly see how much she developed, the staff is very friendly and capable, and they care about what you feel and your child. The teachers are awesome and very well trained. I can tell that coming back to work was much easier than I thought, because I chose such a good school, where I know that my child is in an awesome place, learning and having fun .---------- -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------ENGLISH ------------------------------------------------- -------------------This is the best school I could choose for my daughter. Our son Antonio attended Piaget for 2 months, because we were in Orlando for a short time and we wanted him to not lose the rhythm of his Garden in Colombia where we are originally from. The truth was, it was a very good experience, people behaved very well with him and also with us, from the teachers, Miss Kathy, Judith, Miss Lina, Miss Keyla and Chef Ketty who was always in the process of adapting our son pending on him.I really recommend Piaget Academy, the people are excellent with children.Antonios dad

I have two children who have been with Piaget for 4 years and I love it. The youngest is from before his two years and was in his VPK program, now in kindergarten at his school I value even more his learning in the academy. Piaget has helped a lot to discover and develop the mytrionic potential of my oldest son, since they perform at least two plays a year, absolutely beautiful not only for their teachings but for the love they imprint on the costumes and decorations. In addition to highlighting dates such as Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Grandparents (for example). Now my two children attend before and after school program, and the help they provide to the children by helping them with the development of their homework in the afternoon is invaluable, so when we go home their homework is usually already done and I have the time to enjoy with them.My youngest son who was a little more shy and with a very strong character has found in the works a different form of expression, now he wants to stay to continue practicing, that to me as a mother, tells me a lot, his behavior is different. Infinite thanks to all the teachers, Miss Judith and Miss Lily for working with me hand in hand for the proper development of my children.I recommend it with all tranquility ... I could continue listing thousands of things, but nobody would read me for being such an extensive text !!!THANKS PIAGET ACADEMY !!
