It was confirmed at the desk that it was okay for my friend to come in and watch, had we been told that before we walked into the studio that would have been fine but we weren’t just NOT told but given the okay. Appreciate your apology although I won’t be returning.Thank you again for 2 great years!

I talked to the owner multiple times and each time over the phone very pleasant.. BUT WHEN WE WERE FACE TO FACE SHE WAS NOT AT ALL ORGANIZED OVER TALKED WHEN ASKING QUESTIONS AND RUSHED ME OUT AND BASICALLY SHE SAID IM NOT RENTING TO YOU FOR YOUR EVENT WITH LESS THAN PROFESSIONAL TONES STATEMENT OF ARE YOU DONE HERE WHILE SHE WAS STANDING TO THE DOOR SHE ARE YOU SURE I TALKED TO YOU SHOWED HER PHONE CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES OF COMMUNICATION AND THEN SHE STATED OH I HAVE TOO LOOK AND SEE IF DATE AVAILABLE BUT ASSURED ME ON THE PHONE IT WAS OPEN true you can rent to whom ever she chooses but very unprofessional at its best and if you are a person of color look else where

I had an event in May 22nd from 6pm until midnight, it was my first experience with them and I totally recommend this place. First of all when I arrived the room was clean and ready to set up everything, Miss Kate did a follow up with me since the day I gave my agreement to rent the place until the day of the event. She was really helpful and open to help me during the whole night with anything I wanted (like more table for the guests, turning on the AC, etc). I really enjoyed this party at DGBEK and I will plan to have another one over there. Thank you once again Miss Kate for your professionalism. See you soon. May God bless you..

Awesome facility! Allowed me to come in early to decorate. Owner is very nice and works with clients. Facility is huge and is perfect for events big and small. Id recommend this facility for any event.

DGBEK offered us the opportunity to have 2 different parties and a womens gathering, and every time it was a perfect experience! The arrangements were easy and exactly according to what was promised. Great Staff was helpful!! 😊. Thank you!! 😁

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!! Held my sister in law baby shower here and it was a terrible experience. While the venue is a spacious space (it is a DANCE STUDIO). The owner however is terrible. We had the space reserved from 1 to 5pm (1 to 2pm was for setup). She was “kind” enough to allow us to use the warehouse in the back of the building to start the ballon and arch process at 12:30pm. But she was VERY snappy with us during the whole process. She was upset we had arrived a little early. Okay, I could understand that. Then once in the warehouse it was HOT, we were trying to find the switch to the fan. Only found a light, which was helpful as it was dark in there. Once she came to the warehouse to let us into the main room. She looked at us and said “WHAT DID I TELL YOU???”! Which she was referring not to “touch” anything in the actual warehouse. I said ma’am we were just trying to find the fan it’s really hot (we do live in Florida!) . She just stormed off! I’m like okay, let it slide-tried to be understanding. But what really set me off. As we are setting up in the venue during the hours we PAID for, she has VIEWINGS for other people to see the venue. So we had random people walking into the venue walking and talking about THEIR POSSIBLE party while we are setting up. After the second “viewers” walked BACK in, that’s when I had to escort them out! Like sorry but this is time that we PAID for, which is when the “viewers” stated “oh she- the owner” said we can walk in. I stated no, this is UNPROFESSIONAL and you wouldn’t want random people walking into YOUR EVENT and closed the door. Meanwhile we had people who were there to attend our event sitting out in the waiting area, meanwhile we have random people being allowed to walk in. Make it make sense! I later learned from a family member this also happened at another party at her venue a few months prior. She just walks in and does whatever she wants. I understand it’s her dance studio. But be respectful of peoples personal space and the time that was paid for. I only gave two stars because the space is big if you want to hold maybe a child’s birthday party. This was literally our last resort for my sisters baby shower as the date was booked at nicer venues already. But other than that, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! And if you do want to come here, just be prepared the owner is not good. Terrible! Would not recommend, very ghetto.

I remember a year i threw a party at that I was successful and the lady and her hubby they were nice. I came back for more business . I definitely referred anybody to the place

My cousin had a birthday party here last night and it was amazing.

We did an event at DGBEk, customer services, was great, facility super clean, management very professional and very helpful before, during and after the event.

The owner is a liar. She was coming inside the party taking food and drinks without asking. She kept adding different fees. She wouldn’t give us our deposit back due to she said we went over. We went over because she asked if we could help her and her husband break down the tables and chairs. After these I research her reviews and notice this has happened on several occasions. She said the Oreo kitchen was available for our use and didn’t allow us to use it not even to just get water from the sink.

I’ve been working with Kate for over 6 months now and my experience is always GOOD we have great communication and she’s always looking to help me. Thank you for making my year good can’t wait for 2021 ❤️

Absolutely love this place my 8 year old daughter is on a competitive team and does two other hip hop dance classes every week the environment is so genuine and my daughter is flourishing here! We will be around for a while

When living nearby I had done private dance classes since I didn’t feel comfortable joining in on one of the group classes. Great experience and absolutely had a blast and learned a lot of things! Very sweet people! If I hadn’t moved a few hours away I’d still be taking classes here. :) Even if you’re hesitant taking a group class, maybe start with some private one-on-ones like I did to get more acclimated and comfortable. Thanks ladies!

Amazing event space, with very helpful owners to accommodate last minute requests. They did all they could to make our party a success! A couple minutes before our guests arrived, we decided we wanted to add chairs and tables, and it was not a problem. They kept the bathrooms clean throughout the evening, too! But never got in the way of guests, staying out of sight but available if needed. Highly recommended!

I took beginner hip hop class from a younger girl (dont remember her name), and it was good. Felt like she cared that people understood the moves and didnt go too fast. Ive taken some other lessons elsewhere and did not have as good of an experience.

My family and I have held two events here.. first my sister baby shower last year and just recently my nephew 1st birthday party, we were able to fit a whole bounce house for the kids and do other activities in the place .. Thank you Kate for coming through for us last minute again..

The venue is very nice but as far as hosting an event here I would not recommend it. The owner is very much a control freak and watches you like a hawk all night. She made is hard to enjoy the party.

I celebrated my sisters quincenera this Saturday . Everything came out beautiful and we had so much fun . But the owner Kate was such a pain. She wanted to put the tables the way she wanted it. She was too involved . We hired a decorater to decorate the party and she was making it nearly impossible for her because whatever she wanted to do she disagreed. I understand that it’s her studio but Kate if people are paying you , you shouldn’t be there wondering how they want there things decorated. Also the musicians showed up late and the Dj so they needed time to set up their things . She ended up charging my family an extra $250 . At the end of the party we cleaned up and she started helping us AGAIN we didn’t ask her too . After that she didn’t want to give my mom her deposit!!! Because she said she had to clean . By the way we have 3 witnesses that say that they saw her stealing sodas, beers and waters. My family worked so hard for this party and for her to do that to us was so unprofessional. I would never recommend this place .

As a guest to a birthday this past weekend I would recommend that the lady who runs around telling guest to pickup and help her with trash taking it out to a dumpster in the far end of the back entrance is not professional. She also needs to understand that just because she is in charge she can not be walking in the mens room randomly like she did a few times. This lady needs special training if she wants to run what could potential be a great place. Unfortunately she makes it uncomfortable for the guest to enjoy the party. She is a control freak.

Renting lets talk. About renting not classes . I try to have babyshower in this place something bad happen in my family and I told her , hey we cant have the baby shower there first option was not to give me my deposit back she give me 60% back and said for that one or two days she going keep rest . I would not recommend this place to anyone when you get there they charge you extra for chair and tables so price is low then it gets high and if you have problem of canceling within the two day window say goodbye to your deposit.if there was a one and half star I would give it that

Great environment. The people that mentor the students here are always positive. The owners are very involved. Winky Diaz was the break dancing instructer when my daughter started and she learned so much in the short time she was there. Shell be coming back soon.
