What brought me to Concorde Career Institute was me looking for a program that would help me get a jumpstart on my medical career, I needed experience and a strong medical education in a program that would help me get a job! Luis Ortiz, Amanda Kimbleton and Brian Logan will help you achieve your goal in the AA Surgical Technology program. This is a rigorous program that not only teaches you surgery but also gives you excellent hands on experience during your clinical rotations. They not only give you the education you need but ensure you have a job by the end of your clinical rotations. This program is more expensive than another programs but you are provided continuous support, test prep and job placement. No other school or location will provide that for you. As I am still in contact with my instructors here even after graduation of Aug. 2021, anyone can contact me about my experience here at Concorde Career Institute.

I went to the surgical tech program, and just graduated earlier this year. It was a fantastic experience that Im glad I went for, and has been entirely rewarding and positive. I dont know what the other negative reviews are about, or if its from other programs with issues in the past, but..I have nothing but good things to say. No, it was not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The teachers and staff were all helpful and did all they could to see my class succeed, and the exposure to the local healthcare system via their clinical rotation was top notch. I was able to find a job right out the gate, alongside many of my classmates. Again, wasnt cheap, but it presents an opportunity for a degree, which is an investment in ones future. Would recommend to anyone considering working in healthcare or surgery.

The school let you know they are for profit they are scammers… These people are trying to bill me and I no longer attend the school and it was told to me it was going towards my tuition so why Concorde you billing me for tuition if I don’t attend there? They are liars and greedy for money… DON’T COME HERE BEWARE If I can give them no stars I would. If they try to get you through FB don’t do it do your thorough research about this scam school.

For 15 month career they charge 35,000$ to get a Associate is unbelievable and they try to convince you to try to get in the medical field to start with Medical Assistant when someone is already has plan what they want to become.WASTE OF TIME. They talked to you for 2 hours and they start explaining everything about how is the program and they kill you with the cost of the tuition. NO THANK YOU. I will continue with my study plan that I have chosen.Never discourage a person for language spoken specially when the person is a student. Please be wise the way you speak.Thank you to this you just push me to continue on my career path that I have chosen in other institution with hard work I will achieve it.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I wanted to take the time to leave a review because there’s so many bad ones and when I was looking into schools and trying to pick the one I thought was the best option for me the bad reviews were very discouraging. But I went to the school myself and spoke to someone and I decided to join this school in the dental assistant program and I’m incredibly glad I did. It’s a great school and the professor mrs. Jackson is beyond amazing. Your going to pay a lot of money to any school you choose, so it’s not a waste of money. It’s honestly up to you and how bad you want to better your life and make a change in your life. If you show up and do what your suppose to do you’ll do great and learn so much. Don’t let the bad reviews talk you out of joining a good school and changing your life for the better. People only got something to say when it’s bad. I’m more than happy I joined this school, they really try to help you and really want to see you succeed.

Worse school ever... the RN program is HORRIBLE instructors going on vacation during midterm, DON can never help it’s always “out of my hands”, president does nothing. You send emails and they aren’t returned and when you do get a response it’s verbally so they don’t leave a paper trail. This school is going down and I understand why. Nclex pass rates are low tutoring is hard to get. The whole school is just a waste of time... I missed out on a lot of my kids important events thinking I was making a life for them.. and now 40k+ in loans and I have nothing to show for it but hate for this school. What I would do differently is just wait for Valencia to have an open spot but when you rush and make quick choices the end up costing you. So PLEASE don’t go for the RN program at Concorde it’s not even worth the strain on your family.

Got all the way to my very last class and was withdrawn because I failed it twice, was told I could transfer to a different campus but they are ending the RN program at the surrounding campuses so I had to challenge the Nclex-Pn they wouldn’t even help me with study resources for that, didn’t help me find a job. Now I have to go back to school for the RN program and NO school will take any of my Concorde credits so again I’m stuck.I had a 2.8 the whole time I was going to Concorde and I’m a single mother of 2 kids one was sick and a mom I was was dropping off to Florida hospital south for chemo then going to class and I only missed a total 3-4 days of clinicals the whole 2 years I was there and they didn’t care as long as I paid my money. I would say steer clear of the RN program but I believe they are closing if they haven’t already soo good luck.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. Its all about the money. I had to find my own externship site, and found my own job. Night classes never had supplies. Learned everything on the job, not the school. Im surprised this school is still running.

It is sad to think some students attending Concorde Career Institute in Orlando, Florida. Are actually trying to get into the nursing business to have access to opiods and prescribed medications. They are not testing their students for drug abuse. I cant add the names of the students, but some have been red flagged by their own doctors and somehow the informaion is not getting thru to the proper channels.

As i am about to graduate as a surgical technologist, id like to say that this year has been one of the toughest years for me, the surgical tech program is not easy and it takes a lot of hard work and commitment to finish it, but dont let that discourage you. There has been a few changes in staff since ive been here, but all i can say is that the new program director, clinical coordinators and instructors have been nothing but helpful, they will do everything in their power to ensure you have the proper education youll need to be a successful surgical tech. My classmates are great my teachers have gone above and beyond to make sure i finish this program... So far i feel like im moving forward!

The advisors will say ANYTHING to get you to sign up. I was told I had to pay $100 for the application fee but if I decided not to attend my money would be refunded. Guess what! It wasnt refundable and I am out the money. I was told it was 3 days a week for the nursing program but when I went to sign up I discovered it was 5 days a week. THEY LIED RIGHT FROM THE START. Still trying to get my money back and SO glad I am not going to attend this school.

Having gone to other colleges receiving my degree and pursuing further education in the medical field I was very disappointed in the quality, or lack thereof that this school provided. The teaching staff was very inconsistent, unprofessional and disrespectful . No one was held accountable for the incompatible information that was given to us prior to clinical rotations. Expectations were unclear since every teacher sought something different. It was overall extremely disorganized. Increased turnover amongst staff every couple of months if not more frequently. Sadly, there was no balance, no work ethic (that goes for the remaining hospitals they use for clinical sites in Sebastian and Sebring Fl.), and poor morals with zero integrity. This review is for the Surgical Technology program. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Invest it wisely in another school.

I give it 1 stars because i loved all the info i learned in such little time. I attended the Medical Office Administration program. This school teaches so much in regards to Health Information but when it came to my externship , they place all MOA students in a Dental office !!!! the MOA program does not teach ANY dental....so what was the point of me paying for this and wasting my time learning medical info. Then after that, no one in the medical field would hire me because i had no medical experience. What a waste. Graduated on Presidents List, Deans List , 4.0 with High Honors---for nothing!!!!! HIGH STAFF TURNOVER

I am currently in the Respiratory Therapy program and will graduate in September, 2014. Concordes Respiratory program is everything I hoped it would be. Being at a private school definitely comes with a higher cost than the state schools, but I believe that you get what you pay for at this particular institution. For example, our core-curriculum instructors are at minimum Masters/Ph Ds, our School Dean, Dr. Miller, was an RT to MD and finally Ph D in Education, the RT program is run by Bachelors/Masters/Ph Ds. This school is operating at the level you expect from a private institution. The program itself is high speed-low drag, it is the shortest program that I know of; < 2 years from start to finish. This is not for someone looking for an easy route to their boards. We rent whatever equipment a hospital uses, so on your first day of clinical you already know that ventilator and how to set it up, calibrate it, change modes, and alarm settings. You will realize when you arrive at clinical that you are at minimum equally, if not more, prepared than the other schools students.I think this and our clinical site agreements are what make this program so unique. We are very fortunate in that the sites we utilize allow students to see and experience everything within our scope of practice. You will be excited to wake up everyday for clinicals and disappointed when they end.Update: 6 years laterUnfortunately there are places that have blocked the hiring of Concorde Orlando graduates regardless of experience. The reason stated is our school is not “Regionally” accredited. This is no longer an issue since the Concorde RT Program can only be found in Tampa and Jacksonville. They are both Regionally accredited but double check. Most hospitals are very fair and professional in their hiring process. As with all things in life there is always that one. In the end, where you went to doesn’t define who you are. This profession is based on being a Registered RT in the end.

.Subpar School.. If you ever find yourself in the area of Winter Park Orlando and you find yourself searching for a quick medical school to go to do not go to concorde the school has no work ethic that is substantially helpful to the students. the teachers are mostly about making money and making the numbers that they need to keep the program going. the program directors that mean and the president of school and the president of the school suck they are not there to help you. They will tell you lie after lie after lie in order to keep you when your money if you do get duped into signing up for the school site for something other than the surgical technology program. you have 30 days to make a selection and those first 30 days are going to be the best 30 days of the whole year that youre there for if it still year. You will be traveling a 150 miles out for your clinicals dont ask why I live in Orlando the land of freaking hospital and we have to go to the country and to the beach in order to work on human nobody wants anything to do with concorde Career Institute in Orlando they are liars, cheats; forget about the job placement that they promise you forget about the help with your resume thats a promise to you. and never make any deals with any of the deans principles or your program director there lies, and its always on their terms but if you have the patience as most of us did to sit here and get sucked out of $27,000 for a program I wish you the best of luck.
