My Granddaughter attends school here. The rules and discipline are in place and they work. Yes the school is quiet (as it should be in the learning environment of a classroom). Yes, you have to pay for the after school programs (because life isnt free and neither is child sitting services). When the children go outside, they play, they shout, they run (as it should be during free time in a non-learning environment). When the children go to lunch, they have several different voice levels. If the kids begin shouting in the cafeteria, they lower the voice levels and will lower them to zero. This is to ensure voices arent carrying into the hallways and disturbing the children who are not at lunch. For a public school, it is a well discplined and well structured environment for education as that is what school is supposed to be about.
This school academically is good. But, the procedure that they used for the pick-up is by far the most annoying thing I have had to deal with. They stand and pretend like they are directing the traffic and talk to each other. If you move one inch they are automatically attacking you for no reason. Im grown I do not need people speaking to me as if i was a child.
I love this school. My daughter has lots of fun at her school. But sometimes she tells me how loud her classmates are and gets bothered a lot.Only 80% of the kids are nice and 100% are not that nice.
