My two young children started school at an early age with Montessori education, but their education lacked social and Christian aspects. Therefore we checked out Faith Christian Academy and my main worry was the education, after all if Im going to pay for school it better be high-quality education. After a couple of years I am happy to say that overall Im pleased with the teachers and the education they are receiving. I feel that my children are safe, well instructed, and loved upon by the teachers and the other students. This school has a set of rules, as does any private school. I am well aware of that since I attended private school myself, and the positive outcome of that is that my children are being taught to respect rules and authority with a kind and respectable approach.I recommend Faith Christian Academy to any parents looking for a quality Bible-based Christian school.

My son is going to Faith since Pre-K and I can’t say anything bad about the school. Yes! They do have rules but you are well aware of all of them at the moment you decided to enroll your child to the school. They do have a lot of discipline and they teach your kids to follow rules and to do their best.My son teachers : Mrs. Guzman, Miss Millie, Miss Kalu, Miss Jojo and Mrs. Phillips have been such a blessing for us.We are very happy and we can’t be more proud of our son.The school give you the tools needed to guide your son to success. Is our job as parents to reinforced their education.

This school and church are so full of life and the exact opposite of the reviews. People who go by media alone shows complete ignorance. The individual who rebelled was completely in the wrong, this individual had no problem taming her hair to suite her recitals. Case and point there is a dress code to abide by, people bring their children to private schools for the benefit of uniforms. I can assure you if a white student wore a Mohawk to school and refused to wear it appropriately, then the same procedure would take place.

I faced a lot of bullying at this school and the administrators just watched. I was there for six years when I then switched to public school and I love so much more. There are more opportunities in public schools than private schools. The teachers are great but the curriculum can not be slowed down so when you need help they can only help you so much before you fall behind and Those of you writing reviews based on the hair situation you only heard part of a story I was in the girls class for six years. She followed the rules for five years but then she wanted to be her own person and broke the rules its not a racial thing

Faith Christian Academy is an outstanding Christian school, located in the heart of East Orlando. The teachers are well trained, have a high regard for integrity and care about every student. If I were choosing a private, faith-based school- Faith would be at the very top of the list.

My husband and I absolutely love FCA for our son. He is excelling academically, it is an atmosphere of love, support and structure. He also has so many incredible extra-curricular opportunities such as martial arts and hip hop. Their chapel services are age appropriate, deeply spiritual and fun. He loves going to school everyday and we love be being a part of the FCA family. We couldnt be more pleased with his education.

From my personal experience I would not allow my children to go there after I was there. I faced bullying and when I informed the principal and superintendent they not only disregarded the problem but sided with the bullies. Apparently having natural hair is a distraction and if so then the rest of the girls and boys at this school should shave their heads or be expelled because maybe one day Sarahs straight hair might be a distraction. In the end if you plan on sending your child here be prepared to have them conform to their standards and not what is right.

Laughable. While the administrators of this Academy are ranting about natural hair styles, they condemn a child for wearing her hair naturally. Conform, theyre saying, dont be unique or even creative. The teachers and administrators are unable to deal with bullying, so its best if parents pass over this school for one that teaches good christian values and fully supports the individualism of its students. Poor school.

I am upset with this school for backing down on the hair issue. This is a PRIVATE school with their own set of rules. If you dont like or agree with ANY of the rules you are more than welcome to enroll in your local public school. This is a big letdown.

My children have been attending FCA since preschool. They are now 12th, 8th, and 6th graders and my family is blessed to have our children grow in a school that teaches them to be model students and human beings. FCA staff and teachers has been a vital part in helping my children reach their potential and grow their talents. I will highly recommend this school to anyone.
