I go to this school I’m only in 5th grade all my teachers are the best even when I was in first grade yeah I did bad things but they always was there with me and look where I am yeah I don’t get As and Bs but at lease I have fun made friends don’t just take your children and leave keep there for a day or 3 and ask them how they feel about the school

Amazing teachers. Make you feel safe and confident. But the bullying problem is taking lightly. But other than that its great! I have been there for 6-7 years and I love it! Ive made a lot of friends😀

Worst elementary school I have ever been to. Stuff gets handed out late TVs are broken. Kids just sit and watch tv in music class. No art class at all. The principal just gives you an attitude and excuses. We were told the day before open house that open house was that day. Fundraiser packet was given out 2 weeks late so we only had a week to sell cookie dough. No recess. Forced to whisper at lunch. My daughters teacher is good but everything else is horrible.She is academically gifted and she has been tested but is still not in the gifted program... Though shes been in the gifted program in other schools and has been approved here. I call about it and all I get is a very attitude-y counselor giving me excuses.Honestly if my daughter didnt have a best friend here she would already be at home being homeschooled.If I could give the school no stars I would.

I have had the worst the experience here at Oak Hill. Dr. Jones dresses very nice and very expensive while the school has no real resources. My son kindergarten teacher has missed 20 days or more since august, she hasnt wrote in his planner since October. When she is there she is selling Mary Kay. I have taken my concerns to the principal we had a meeting that basically let me know shes ok with whats going on. Nothing at all has changed or even tried to change. After school the kids spill out the school into traffic where there is no one from the school in sight to supervise. I called the school with that concern and was told that its out her jurisdiction however its called caring about your students. In the mornings there is a motorcycle officer thats handing out traffic tickets, after school there is no officer there to protect the kids from cars jumping in and out of traffic, from a pile up where the cars cannot get in the school yard. PARENTS BEWARE this is not a good school besides all the other concerns the kindergarten education curriculum is very poor, my son is being taught the same work and spelling words as my 4 year old in VPK. If you are a parent who cares about your kids education you would HATE this school.

Good school but I dislike that the phone is always broken on many occasions I have wanted to communicate with my childs teacher for some reason and it does not work. I wanted to report it to some place but there is nowhere to complain.
