We have been bringing our kids here for 7 months. It is amazing! Great environment, extremely friendly & welcoming, wonderful coaches. The kids are learning a lot. We absolutely Love it here!

Just started at this place last week and I love it! The facilities are huge and clean. All the staff as well as the students there are super friendly and supportive. The instructors make you feel welcome and make sure that youre learning properly while also pushing you to challenge yourself and be better than you were yesterday. Shout out to Fabio, Lakea, Jeff, and Nicole in particular for helping me out! 100% recommended this place.

It’s been a month that I’ve been training at OBJJ Acadamy and I love it !!! I joined this school 3 months ago and I must say that this place is amazing. I am so happy I found a school with awesome professors and students. The energy here is like no other. Been at this academy since it opened 10 years ago. Its absolutely awesome! World class training in Muay Thai, Judo, Brazilian jujitsu, Wrestling and physical fitness. These classes are very exciting. Really enjoyed the Judo classes so far and the facility is great. I feel the schedule gives me lots of options for training. I was previously going to a different school where I felt left out. Everyone is very welcoming here and I look forward for my time on the mats now

A lifelong martial artist, He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science and is currently earning his Masters degree at UCF. Paul has extensive training and education in weight loss and sport specific conditioning as well as multiple martial arts including Muay Thai, Kickboxing, MMA, Filipino Kali and Jeet Kune Do. Coach Paul is dedicated to the success of his students and is constantly going above and beyond... However, the multiple disciplines that you can train for at OBJJ is the cherry on the top, huge facility, and even a MMA cage, an open area for weight lifting and even cross fit, oh, and did I mention the gigantic size of their main mat!!!! Super location. Highly recommended.

Its ridiculous what you can do here - not just BJJ (gi & no gi), but also judo, wrestling, muay thai, and even regular boxing. The instruction is professional and it all takes place in an atmosphere that is friendly and fun. Always wanted to try a martial art? Come on down and meet new friends. :)

I train here regularly when I visit Orlando. The instructors do a great job of teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced level techniques. They have created the perfect atmosphere to train hard, while making friends In the process. This is my favorite place to do Gi Bjj in the city.

Excellent gym to train at! Overall very high level instruction and quality training partners. Everyone is very welcoming and provide a great level of training. Ive traveled to a few gyms and this so far is one of my favorites! Solid gym culture.

I signed up for Jiu Jitsu at this facility. After multiple classes I realized a disconnect in actually teaching moves or technique. They demonstrated a few then send you off to practice with someone who doesn’t have much experience. During which there was no instructions or critique. After a few classes I noticed the mats were extremely dirty and gross. My brand new gi was ruined after one use. I confronted management and explained I would like to just cancel and pay for what I used. They charged me for the next month anyways. I will never recommend or revisit this place again. There are much nicer facilities around town.

Objj is the best place in Orlando Fl. The quality instructors that are truly great professors. The family friendly atmosphere. For the size it is very well kept. Shout out to Charlie he is amazing and so is his smile. Its a place where you are excited to return to because you know you will leave with something learned. OBJJ has quality from jujitsu muay tai judo and strength and conditioning all are above expectations. Going to training now come join!!! 😎🤙

Welcoming, fun and amazing experience. I was in town from Portland last week for a conference, and even though this gym was much further from my hotel than others, it came highly recommended. The opportunity to train with one of the best in the sport is a draw in itself, but it exceeded my expectations. Bruno, Brad and the rest of the team AND members were incredibly welcoming to this 44 year old white belt, and treated me like one of their own right off the bat. I took two classes in two days and gained some great knowledge, and even some bonus tips and tricks. I will definitely be back next time Im in town. If youre in or near Orlando, do yourself a favor and go to Orlando BJJ!

Lakea is one of the instructors and absolutely looks after everyone in his class. He has an incredible ability to gauge what each of his students can handle.The class is interesting dynamic of young and older students that look after each other like a family.If you are curious about learning a martial art in a safe, fun place by expert Olympic caliber instructors OBJj is for you.

My three boys and I have been coming to OBJJ for a year. It is a great gym with even better instructors. Would recommend it for all kids!

My family loves OBJJ. My son is 16 and comes to classes here 7 days a week, typically, and sometimes twice on Friday. He took a trial class in July and was all-in from day one. Everyone here is respectful, and treats him as a peer. The gym is clean and its an amazing facility. Its professionally run and friendly, and the teachers are knowledgeable and excited to teach. Were so happy we found this place.

Absolutely love this place. I am new to the BJJ world and had no idea what to expect but the culture here is very welcoming and professional. The owner is very on top of health and safety especially during these COVID times. From management to instructors, they all have patience and humbleness to help others succeed.

I wanted to get into jiu-jitsu and tried a few gyms in the area but this one was hands down the best environment because of the friendly staff, knowledgeable trainers, hands on owner and overall quality. Very beginner friendly and a full schedule to appeal to any level.

Went to their fundamentals and advanced class and was very satisfied. They roll at your pace and are very welcoming to drop ins. All of these guys are top athletes and it showed. I’d recommend them to any level bjj practitioner who’s willing to learn! Thank you to professor Brad for showing me top quality moves...I’m already using them back home.

Alec is a great coach, super informative, friendly and technical. Decent size classes and tough rolls for hobbyists and competitors. Free Gi, belt and towel rentals included in drop in fee. 10/10 Would drop in again.

Been coming here for over 6 months and it has become my second home. The facility is amazing and the staff is top notch. The one thing that I love most about this gym is the sense of community and it shows with the upper belts. Everyone wants to help and it has created an amazing environment for new people and white belts. Cannot say enough good things about this gym and a big shout out to Tito, who helped me fall in love with Jiu Jitsu.

I had the pleasure in August of this year to train in this gym. I was down in the area on vacation and welcomed right in. They have an amazing staff of instructors and a top notch facility. The owner even came over to talk with me for a bit and let me know I was always welcome to come back and train.If you ever get the opportunity to check out a world class establishment with friendly and hard working people you must check out this gym.Ladies especially...you will feel welcome, safe and comfortable in this environment.

From the front desk to the mat, Alliance has it nailed. I Have only been here 2 weeks and already feel like family. Humility, kindness, patience, persistence, and a true mastery of the art of teaching. The instructors and owner are a special breed and it shows by the members they attract. Having zero experience can make for an intimidating experience, but not here. Our instructor Jonathan and the rest of the morning class we attend were genuinely happy to welcome us. No egos, just like minded people with a true desire to learn. I cant say enough! I am just grateful to have found you guys!

The gym is very spacious and the front of house staff very personable. Bruno was awesome and very thorough with teaching techniques and correcting our mistakes. Would suggest a clip on mic for him if all the fans are on, as it was a bit difficult to hear. Looking forward to rolling here more often!

I dont even go here but I was looking to be hired by their facility, and I also wanted to check out the amateur mma team. The facility is in great shape. Full sized cage, weight room, mats. This place is enormous by the way. There is a supportive and friendly vibe from both staff and other fighters. Once again I have only been there twice so these are only impressions. Someone commented that the place is dirty. The place looks new to anyone with common sense. Perhaps he wishes to eat steak off the mats. All in all, from what I see the place looks nice.

Run down dirty and not worth it.After reading the response from the owner accusing me of being butt hurt with a legion of comments from trolls, you can only imagine that the owner himself is a vengeful, immature, egotistical jerk who was probably a bully in school. And he is probably inflating his rating with fake positive reviews. Im so sure that Johnny Cash, applied for a job at the gym, got an interview, didnt get a job, then immediately wrote a glowing review which directly addresses the review that I wrote..... Sure, thats not fake at all.The mats at this gym are ripped, they have tape all over them. The gym equipment has spiderwebs and it is indeed dirty. The squat rack is broken, has been broken for 6 months I was told and it doesnt seem like it will be fixed anytime soon.I stand by this review, and after seeing the owners rude and immature response, Ill add the fact that Brad is a bully pulling together all his friends to try an discredit my review. Seriously? Get over yourself.

I have trained at a couple of bjj gyms in the past and made a few close training partners and friends. This gym makes you feel welcomed and everyone quickly becomes a great training partner and friend! Took a few weeks off traveling out of town and received a text from the gym just checking up on me since I had been m.i.a, very unexpected and grateful, great place to train!

Legendary head instructor, with a great team of fellow instructors. It feels like I have a second home at OBJJ. Hands down the best BJJ and MMA gym in central Florida. I have tried a few gyms previously, nothing like OBJJ team. All levels and skills are welcome, so I am looking forward to enroll my daughter.

Hands down one of the best BJJ gyms I have been to. Maria, who runs the front desk, is helpful and wonderful to everyone at the gym. Being able to learn from someone like Bruno Malfacine is a once in a lifetime experience and the owner Brad Thompson is a great guy who is an excellent instructor as well. Cant say enough good things about Orlando BJJ. They definitely helped me take my Jiu Jitsu to the next level.

I trained here from February to April. I went from a couch potato at 210 lbs after 12 years of not moving to 185 lbs and Got back in shape in a few months doing something fun. The instructors are very knowledgable and helpful, they got classes in the early morning, throughout the day, at night and on weekends. They got BJJ, judo, Muitai, fitness classes. The BJJ curriculum is very structured and classes are very organized for new students. The people that train here are helpful and willing to teach and welcome the new white belts. The Gym is very clean. Staff is very friendly. Unfortunately I had to have a major spinal surgery and had to stop. (The injury not due to the training) The owner was very flexible when cancelling my membership. I hope some day I recuperate enough to go back.

To the idiot who reviewed Orlando BJJ as run down: If, one day (by some amazing stroke of luck) you are able to scrape a few dollars together and go into business for yourself, I truly hope that some bored j3rk off comes along and slams your business. Orlando BJJ is a premiere facility with top of the food chain instructors. If you consider the Bellagio run down, then certainly dont train at Brad Thompsons gym. The facility is uniformly considered the best in Orlando by a country mile for too many reasons to state in this review again (you can read all of the other 5 star reviews).

Three of us were here for a conference and couldnt have been more elated to be in the same city as Bruno Malfacine for an entire week! Turns out Orlando BJJ is much more than just Malfacine! Amazing training facility, exceptionally clean and spacious and with loads of equipment that we unfortunately didnt have time to try out. The three of us were here to train jiu jitsu and we attended the fundamentals and competition classes. Myself and the other lady in our party were pleased to find other ladies that trained here, AND they were upper belts who attended the competition training - this makes it very welcoming when you are at a new gym and you are worried about being the only lady. The other girl I was traveling with was 15 years old and was a bit anxious about training at a new place that might not have other women - so this was a HUGE plus that there were several upper belt women who were all exceptional training partners.Speaking of ladies....the ladies change room was GREAT! Lost of space for gear, and it offered plenty of privacy.I cant wait to be back in Orlando to train here! Thanks for being so welcoming to us.Christi, Sophia, and Logan - No Limit/Killer Bees

I am Affiliatted with Jiu Jitsu. and the lifestyle it promotes. When I see nonsense like one star reviews; it will not be left unchecked . I was passing through on family vacation in Florida from California . They have a very welcoming academy. There academy is one of the nicest I have ever been too! They also have morning classes and I was able to train with out compromising my family time everyday. Keep up the great work Aliance. Ossss

Ive trained martial arts for nearly 18 years and finding Alliance Orlando met all of my expectations. First and most importantly, the instructors are experienced, engaging, and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and spacious and no matter what your flavor (jiu jitsu, judo, muay thai, crossfit) they have it all here for one low price. Im in the best shape of my life and even after a long day at work, I look forward to training with my friends at this gym!
