My daughter has been a CMA student for over 6 years. Her instructors have become a second family to us. Over the years, I have watched her skills and confidence sore. She holds herself and her martial arts capabilities to high standards and I believe that is due to the expectations of her instructors. She is a champion because she has been taught to expect and reach for nothing less.

For the amount of money you pay, you would think they would care about their students more. My sister has dedicated more than three years of her life to attending 6-7 days per week. At first the place was great but over the years the Martial Arts discipline has taken a back seat to business. All they care about it making money and keeping the parents happy by any means necessary. Passing children who don’t deserve their belts and making a mockery of martial arts. It didn’t start out like that but over the years that is what they have transformed too. I can say a lot more but if it wasn’t that my sister calls this place her home and would be devastated if I change her I would move her immediately to another more caring dojo. But it is coming to the point where I will make that change anyway.

Both my children have been with CMA for 5 years so far. One began as Little Dragon and the other as a White Belt. The instructors have educated them on how to protect themselves, taught them great defense skills that they wouldnt have gotten anywhere else and helped them be more confident not only in themselves but also in their education process. My children think of their instructors as family. As of today, they are both in Advanced classes at CMA and on their way to achieving Black Belt and they have truly earned it.
