The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They do a good job of wiping down all of the machines so you feel safe during the pandemic. Plenty of machines to work out every part of your body. Never super crowded. Tanning beds are good. Would definitely say its worth the money!

Wah Lum is a great place to learn martial arts. They have plenty of room for all their students. The facility is clean and the waiting room has good games and books and you can see all the action. The instructor is nice and patient. You will definitely break a sweat in the warm ups. This place brings peace and tranquillity to ones life forsure. They also have all sorts of Kung Fu weapons to train with. All of the weapons are well take care of and organized, so the place is super safe. The bathrooms are super clean too. They have all the certifications and are a legit place to learn legitimate Kung Fu. Just dont bring nuts. Wah Lum is mega allergic to nuts. So yeah its a clean and great place with a positive, peaceful vibe. Pretty cool stuff.

Words cannot describe what this place means to me. I walked through the door almost 14 years ago and have been attending ever since. It has something for everybody. If you want to learn authentic, traditional martial arts, there is no better place. If you are looking for a way to get fit, they offer Xtreme Fitness classes. They have classes for small children and separate classes for the bigger kids. The best part about this place is that you are not just a customer or a number, they go out of their way to treat you as a friend and family. They have morning and evening classes to suit almost any schedule, they offer private lessons as well. The facilities are great. The best way to experience all of this is to come in and check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed!!!

Theyre really nice people. If you are considering attending as a young student, they are attentive, patient, thorough, and kind. An all-around welcoming, familial vibe with competent, intelligent management. The facility is brand new, quite clean, and the wi-fi is crisp and reliable.Rates are more than reasonable, too!

I have attended several bootcamp-style and extreme group fitness programs. None have been as motivating and welcoming as UBC at Wah Lum. I first attended 3 years ago. The moment I stepped through the door, I was treated like a member of the family. My Wah Lum family pushed me into the best shape of my life.If youre looking for a fun environment to get into shape with AMAZING people, I highly recommend Wah Lum!

Initially when I decided to pursue martial arts I knew I wanted to find an authentic school that cared more about teaching the art than it did about making money. I found this school and went to check out a class. I got to speak with Sifu George and his sister who runs the front office, and they definitely made me feel at home. After watching the class I decided to join and seven years later Im still here doing my best to improve my health and skills. Theres a true family-like atmosphere present at this school, and it extends to everyones interactions with each other. You wont find anybody at this school that belittles others for their perceived lack of skill. Everyone here is extremely helpful and always very encouraging.

Ive attended a few martial arts places around Orlando, but Wah Lum North Orlando was, hands down, the best.Im terrible at all things physical, but the teachers there are patient and encouraging, and despite my lack of talent, I learned a lot in the six months I was there. They have a wonderful, family atmosphere, but at the same time, theyre strict, tough, and take the history, traditions, and technique of their art very seriously. If youre looking for authenticity, this is the place for you.Kung fu classes (thats the only class I attended) give a lot of weight to conditioning and learning stances/choreography, but the instructors make it relevant to self-defense, and add in a good amount of practical training, too. Id encourage attending classes as often as you can so you dont miss anything. They love mixing things up, and have some really innovative classes.I only left for financial reasons, and to see what else was out there, but after exploring, my esteem for Wah Lum of North Orlando has only risen. Worth every penny.

I initially found this branch of Wah Lum nearly 15 years ago (whoa) when I wasnt yet out of my teens. I attended here for a year before moving to Tampa. I cant tell you how much I missed the school. I moved back to Orlando and, a little over a year ago, I did some research and saw that there were fitness classes available here. I attended fitness classes for several months before deciding that I just couldnt stand to not be in the kung fu classes.Obviously, Im no longer in my teens; Ive been working a desk job for the last 8 years. Though I certainly feel encouraged and pushed to do my best, Ive never felt like I was being pressured to push myself past my abilities. Bad knee? Dont hurt yourself - build up to things. Not strong enough? Dont worry, do what you can - youll get there - just try to do a bit more each time. And thats with everyone in the school, not just Sifu George and the other teachers. Its all of the students. Its not a competition; its a group of people learning together. Its a FUN, family-like atmosphere.Frankly - if youre looking for a super serious, crazy sadistic martial arts experience to punish yourself into shape with no smiles and no laughing allowed, this probably wouldnt be the right fit for you. If youre looking to learn a truly amazing art form (kung fu and/or tai chi) in a friendly and supportive environment surrounded by people who love what theyre doing, I really recommend Wah Lum North. And dont forget the fitness classes! Seriously... they may be fun, but theyll kick your butt.

Wah Lum kung fu under the instruction of Sifu George Kee is fantastic. Ive been here for the most part since the beginning of 2001. If you are looking for authentic Kung Fu or Tai Chi, this is the place in North Orlando. If youre interested in getting in shape, the fitness classes can help you with that. Kettlebells, ropes, suspension training, kickboxing, kung fu, tai chi, what more can you ask for?

Wah Lum Kung Fu is a fantastic experience for traditional martial arts and culture. Being a family owned facility, it is the love of the arts that fuels this business, not the love of money. Top quality instruction and years of experience is what you will find here. The style of Kung Fu is very complex, with many traditional weapons to learn. There are also Tai Chi and fitness challenge classes available, something for everyone!Love this place!

My 4 year old daughter is taking Wah Lum Kung Fu under Sifu George. She is in love with her classes and in a very short amount of time I am already seeing an increase in mindfulness and focus from her. Sifu George has an incredible level of patience, and is absolutely amazing with the kids. From what I’ve seen, he’s phenomenal in regards to training adults too! I feel that enrolling my Daughter in Wah Lum Kung Fu is absolutely the best life investment that I have ever made.

George Kee is by far the best martial arts teacher Ive ever had the opportunity to learn from. There are a lot of tough guys in the industry and as a 30 year old (8 years ago) Id given up on finding a teacher I could truly respect after my two former instructers were no longer teaching. I tried but most were typical Rex Kwon Do types or incredibly egotistical, neither of which were appealing in someone I was going to learn from.I reluctantly went to check out Wah-Lum of north Orlando with my wife when she discovered it, as shed always wanted to learn traditional kung fu. I expected the same high pressure sales pitch complete with were the best school attitude, along with a lot of badmouthing of other styles or schools. To my suprise, that was not even slightly the case. George was so humble that I actually left wondering if it was a good school or not but agreed to try it for a month with my wife. My first class left me with no doubts and 10 years later, although Ive taken a few breaks from training to pursue other interests, my wife and I have remained students and consider the Kees so much more than friends. They truly make you feel like family. The only critical thing I can say regarding Sifu is that hes too nice! His humility actually hurts his sales! (coming from a fellow business man)

My daughter and I have been members at Wah Lum for 7+ years - Wah Lum has become part of our family. We started off doing Kung Fu, then in recent years have added Tai Chi and other alternative fitness classes SiFu George offers. Our experience has been very positive and extremely beneficial and we look forward to many more years of martial arts practice here. Visit, watch a class, and youll be hooked!
