I searched for a decade to choose the right school to progress into a higher income level. Previously already having my massage licensure in another state, I wanted to learn something new and exciting, not just the bare minimum for a FL license.. Instantly OSTMY felt right when I walked through the doors. Raven and Wendy were so patient with my questions and accommodating with my budget limitations. This school offers introductions to modalities that are not taught at other schools like ear seeds, cranial sacral, and Thai! They give their students one on one attention, and are adaptable to all the different unique varieties of learning styles. I would choose them over and over again! Even if you decide massage therapy is not for you this learning experience will lay the foundation for any career in health and wellness. Worth every penny!!!

I am in school for Therapeutic Massage and I never thought that a program could be as outstanding as this. Everyday I am intrigued and I always learn more than I did the day before. OSTMY is a great massage school! They truly care about their students. I attended the the night class. The instructor Tedy is great! He has a lot of experience in the massage field and is very knowledgeable. The class was always fun.Raven the School Director is very involved and is a great advocate for all her students. When I was researching for massage schools in the area OSTMY stood out for some reason. A shorter program with cheaper tuition than most schools seemed like a great deal to me knowing that it will be an accelerated program and more intense. Im happy I went along with my intuition and choose this school!The teachers definitely operate out of love because they want you to succeed and pass the MBlex. The owner Raven is a free-spirited, loving person. Ive taken Anatomy and Physiology three times now in my life and Ann is the best teacher for it with her passion and creativity in teaching the material unlike these colleges that have teachers lecture all day until you want to bang your head against a wall. Finally, Tedy is a jack of all trades kind of person with vast amounts of knowledge in the massage world that makes you want to aspire to be like him. His character and teachings of different modalities was my favorite during the whole program.OSTMY has definitely opened my eyes to new perspectives on massage and body work. Come with an open mind and put in the effort and you will come out successful.

I cannot recommend Orlando School of Therapeutic Massage & Yoga enough if you are looking to start a career in Massage Therapy. I had put off going to massage school due to most schools being unaffordable, until life lead me to this school.I fully enjoyed the teachers and staff, and all of the different modalities I dont think I would have been exposed to otherwise. I was so afraid of the anatomy and physiology, but Ann helped me get in my body and really see how amazing it is. I was nervous about massage techniques, but Raven helped break everything down and gave us the confidence we needed to be prepared for the real world. I walked away from this school feeling like I had a community, and life long friends.I passed the MBLEX the first time, which was not easy, but I credit this school for getting me there.

I visited the Massage School today for a massage for the first time. The staff is very friendly. Everyone greeted me with a smile. Clean environment. Nicole was Amazing!!! I was very tense around my neck and shoulders but she took care of that. I enjoyed every minute.

Best Massage school in Orlando FL!!

I researched a lot of different massage schools before deciding to chose Orlando School of Therapeutic Massage & Yoga. My first thought before signing up was, this is the cheapest school so Ill probably get the cheapest education. I still ended up signing up after getting 2 massages at the student clinic. When I got my massages I asked the students a ton of questions about the program. They both said they loved the school and the level of education that they received so I ended up coming back to take a tour as a prospective student and signing up for the 5 month day program.I am extremely happy that I followed their advice and recently finished the program on December 19th. Ive already taken and passed the MBLEX and plan on getting my license in the next few weeks. The exam was definitely hard but I felt very prepared thanks to the intense program. Im not going to lie and tell you that its easy because its not but it helps to have teachers that are genuinely focused on seeing you not only pass the class and exam but also who want you to succeed in the massage field.Id say my favorite part of the program was learning all the different modalities. I have a few other friends that went to other schools for massage and were mad because they paid more and learned less.Overall if you are looking for a not good, but GREAT massage therapy program, I highly recommend Orlando School of Therapeutic Massage & Yoga. You will not be disappointed!Ohh another cool part is that Raven, the owner incorporates yoga into the program. Ive done yoga before but I liked her style more than any of the other instructors that Ive worked with.

My experience at this school was incredible, I learned so much massage techniques from Swedish, trigger point, deep tissue, and intro to other modalities as well, I also got to learn from the best teachers about the body from the muscles to other body systems and integrating everything together really changed my perspective, I’m really happy I choose this school to get my education it really is the best space to share, connect and learn Thank you to Raven, Ann and Teddy for all your wise knowledge and sharing it with us.

I couldn’t have chosen a better school to attend for Massage Therapy. With a small class size, hands on learning, and a grounded atmosphere, it was perfect and flexible program for a busy mom of two. I attended the night program four days a week, 6 months. My teacher, Tedy Narvaez, gave us the best experience and taught us in depth hands on training. Even after the program ended, this school offered a bonus class to take for MBLEX preparation. Raven, the owner of the studio, goes above and beyond to make sure students have the necessary tools, support, AND knowledge to ensure we all succeed. I also attended the MBLEX exam study coach with Peter, and I am happy to say i couldn’t have passed the Mblex without it.Also, as a registered yoga teacher, the importance of being grounded, believing and trusting yourself goes a long way. OSTMY is a fantastic place to train for a career in massage!The school offers a comprehensive, varied massage training program at a very reasonable cost, especially when considering that other local schools charge $10,000 MORE than OSTMY for a comparable program.The teachers are experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. The program itself offers exposure to many different modalities, along with in-depth anatomy and physiology coursework, to fully prepare students for the licensing exam.The organization of the program and small class sizes ensure that every student has lots of one-on-one instruction, along with lots of hands-on hours.I would definitely check out OSTMY if you’re considering becoming a massage therapist!

I was in the massage therapy program (evening class) and it was awesome. My teacher was very knowledgeable with a background in physical therapy and clinical massage. I definitely learned a lot about anatomy and got a taste of many different modalities and techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, reflexology, cupping, PNF, myofascial release, sports massage, aromatherapy, etc).Class size was super small. I understand that the school is still growing, so that my change. Still, the small class size of seven people made a fantastic environment for the teacher to give individual attention to each of his students. It felt very personalized for each student. We were fortunate enough in the night class to have a daily two hour clinic to practice on each other as well as a public clinic to start working on bodies other than your fellow classmates. Lecture time included anatomy and theory.Although this program is more affordable than other programs, I dont feel I got a cheap education. I passed the MBLEx with no problem. I havent gotten my license yet, but Ive already interviewed at a couple of different spas and gotten job offers at all of them.I will say that its hard to juggle 40 hours of work and 16 hours of school, but if youre dedicated and know you can handle the workload, youll be fine. Definitely a great choice for someone whos looking for affordable training with flexible payment plans.
