HORRIBLE! RUDE! DISHONEST! ASHLEY the so called “director” is the most unprofessional un knowledgeable person I have ever had the unpleasant opportunity to speak with. Not only does she need to get her little attitude problem under control but grow up stop ruining children’s confidence.My daughter had a “audition” that was virtual due to covid, on the audition Ashley made my daughter show a few poses. (Now I know my daughter is not a professional yet but she was trying her best and was VERY nervous) and the “director” the one preaching “confidence” “support” LAUGHED AT MY DAUGHTER on an audition in from of other talent. I do not know what sad things happened to her that she is resorting to demolishing the confidence and enjoyment my 9 year old daughter gets out of taking pictures, but this was a complete lack of class. Just completely disappointed in this company because we were very excited to get her into classes and build her confidence. Sadly I will be doing this on my own to repair the damage Ashely caused her...

I attended one class and then unfortunately had to stop as the fee was $70 a week and I could not afford it. The registration was $295. I ended up paying for two classes and I received a bill in the mail for $284. If you are not 100% on going through with the school because of price I would say do not do it because they literally highway rob you. It doesnt matter how much of the school you have completed, you will still end up owing money. When she called me to ask if I wanted to go through with everything, they do NOT give you any time to make the decision. They want your answer right then and there. Out of excitement, anyone is bound to make the wrong choice. Also, because of the corona virus, you cannot even go in person for your classes..everything is online and I do not feel it is the same experience, especially for the price you pay. In total so far,I have paid $435 for ONE class!! & now they are asking for $284... Wheww. Please believe these reviews. This school is obviously all about the money. So after I pay this measly bill, they would have gotten a total of $721 out of me... and let me say it again... I only logged into ONE ONLINE class. They will get the remainder when I have it. That is all.

This has been the greatest experience I’ve had. I’m not going to lie, at the beginning I was having a bit of doubt. As time went by and each Friday I took my class, my doubts were going away. I’ve really grown by being part of the JC family. I’ve actually have made friends even tho it’s online, it’s been an experience of a lifetime. I’m still working and learning from each and everyone of them. I would also like to thank everyone of the coaches, who took the time to teach us everything we’ve learned. All said if I had the chance to do it again I would.

This place is a great way to start your acting and or modeling career. They do classes preparing to prepare you for auditions in the future. If you want to enter the entertainment industry, there is going to be work and training involved, in addition to your talent you may already possess. This place is a fantastic opportunity to get your first step into modeling and acting. My experience has been well worth the time because of how much is boosted my confidence, self image, and communication skills. Because I took it seriously, I am having real opportunities in acting and modeling that I can move forward into a career with, hopefully. Im so thankful for coming here!

I will never ever recommend anyone to this company. I took 1 class paid my $72 dollars, i informed Ashley Bush at the school, in March that i can no longer pay to attend the classes due to my hours being reduced at work from COVID-19. No one ever told me that if i stopped taking classes that i would get a bill sent to my home for over $390 dollars. I’m confused on what exactly they want 390 dollars , I never received books or anything from them so why am i going to pay $390 dollars to a company that I one haven’t even gotten any modeling lessons from. I keep asking for the corporate number and I haven’t received it. I took one classes and knew This would be a joke. How can you teach modeling online? HOW CAN YOU TELL SOMEONE TO PAY MONEY THAT THEY NEED TO PAY OTHER BILLS. I always wanted to do modeling but they killed my dream. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME .7/23/2020They still keep saying I have a balance. I am not paying $290 dollars if I did not receive service. I keep asking for management and no answer. The only person they have sent me to is Tracy and she seems as if she doesn’t care about my situation. Like i said don’t waste your time with this unprofessional money hungry people12/1/2020So they sent my account to the collections because I told them over and over again that Due to COVID i won’t be able to continue classes. So they want me to pay $273 dollars . I am not paying nobody anything when i did not receive any books no classes nothing so what am i really paying for? I already paid over $300 for the deposit , i am not paying it sorry y’all will have to see me in court because y’all are thief’s and Ashley bush who was in charge doesn’t even work there anymore so it really shows what a bad company this is

I have been here for 12 weeks and in all honesty this place has helped me in more than one way. Its helped me keep peace with myself, grow as a person, actor and more! They have been honest and straight forward since the beginning of it all. They have helped me with my mental health as because I had trouble being out around people and talking and dealing with stuff. They have taught me to keep being me and learning and working towards being the best me I can be. Putting the work in myself while they teach me the skills I need to get better! Great place and great people ! Hands down would recommend to anyone trying to become something or help themselves get better!

Deciding to pursue my dream of becoming an actor always seemed a little bit impossible but this place changed everything and continues to do so. I used to be modeling in New York I was young years ago now I’m back to become modeling again now this How dare Hannah hang up at me few times at me this really rude she is scam period ..

John Casablancas (Orlando) the staff is really great, friendly and professional. There’s never a day where I feel awkward because they are very welcoming. The sessions are really helpful because the instructors go into detail with what their teaching you. Also, the workshops that are provided gives you extra help with whatever you need to work on, whether it be runway, or learning how to apply makeup. They really take their time with the individuals (students) which is what I really appreciate.

I go here and it’s actually a really good opportunity! Yes, you pay. But for the schooling. It is not a scam. You learn the tools that you need to help you book work and gain knowledge on the industry. MTM is the agency and you don’t pay for the representation so that is the most legitimate way to pursue. I love everyone that works in the office. Ashley will keep it 100% real with you and we need that because she wants us to be successful. Just do what they tell you and you will get the most out of your time here! I have been given audition opportunities and I can’t wait to see where this takes me!

Stay away!!!! If I could take it all back I would. They stole money from me and is now asking for more... this place sells dreams. I came to JC with hope and left broken. It’s a waste of time and money.

I went there and they taught me so much. 100% the best experience I’ve had. It is a bit on the expensive side but it was worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend.

I love John Casablancas I’m currently taking classes and it’s great and I feel that everything you need to be thought to be audition ready is being shown and explained ,everything is perfect and they also have super great instructors.

I wouldve rated a 5 star however the follow-up process was a disaster. I was very impressed with the audition process and hearing the success stories, but upon further research, testimony from friends that I know personally, & the reviews, I felt that John Casablancas was not right fit for my child. I emailed Ashley to inform her that we would not be attending the follow-up appointment, but the email was returned twice. I received a phone call first of all the name was mispronounced, I corrected her. I acknowledged that I was the parent then was asked how old is she and my child is a boy! You just met my son the day before and you dont even know the gender of my child? I indicated that on the application. I then asked well who am I speaking with as she never stated who she was and where she was calling from. I told her HIS age and proceeded to explain my reason for not proceeding and she interrupted me, so youre not prepared to invest in your childs career? And before I could barely respond, she interrupted again and stated well I just put that he cant make it and hung up. She was very rude and condescending. Seems like if youre not willing to fork up thousands of dollars then youre nothing to them. I guess they do live by the creed, Time Is Money.

I love the staff especially Ashly!!! It’s a great feeling to have open communication both ways. My daughter is happy and enjoys her class sessions every Saturday. Although it’s quite an investment... however it’s all worth it, because this is what my daughter is passionate about and her dream to be on T.V. So with that being said, it wouldn’t be an overnight success, it takes being coachable, dedication, hard work and mastering your craft. A lot of people don’t understand the art in modeling or acting. I’m just saying... anyway good luck to those that are in pursuit of happiness and in making your dreams into reality!!!!

Been working with them for about two months and the experience is phenomenal. The director and the teachers are great in what they do with the leading and teaching. Been with them for a short time and I already had a fashion show so my experience is already growing and I predict that there will be a lot more for me during the next few years.

I have been doing classes here for 4 weeks now, and I am very impressed at my own personal growth within the short period of time. If you are going to sign with JC make sure you are willing to invest lots of time to go to classes to get the most out of it. It has only been one month and I already have the opportunity to do promotional work at the Florida Mall, so they definitely provide you opportunities to work. I look forward to further growth and even greater opportunities!

John Casablancas Orlando has changed my life. I attended the audition on a whim, and it was the best decision I’ve made. I am learning so much about the industry, and I’m learning so much about myself. They force me to get out of my comfort zone, put my shoulders back, and show people what I’ve got. This is a very professional establishment BUT upon being one of few selected from the many after the initial audition where you stand the whole time and interactively answer questions including getting one chance to walk on the runway, the following day that you receive a call from this agency and show up for your contract meeting (yes, they already want you to sign a contract) you are asked to pay a fee of 1995 or they have to let you go because there are other people who want the spot although you are offered to pay a fraction of this cost the fact that no charges were previously mentioned adds to the idea that this agency is a scam. If you did not already know, modeling is not a job you pay for, you should NEVER have to pay any initial fees before you model for anyone for ANY reason. This is all in all shady and if after some bargaining you are told that you are going to be given a special pricing because the agency just wants you that badly, dont fall for it-- I was told the same thing. Thats another trap. If youre willing to take your chances with this company, I sincerely do wish you the best this is me telling you of my true experience here and why I chose not to be part of this agency. Do more research on the models/actors on their current site because that was my mistake.

Trust me! with all my sincerity, I came to John casablnacas with a dream and while I went to the first audition I was not very convinced, but they Ashley Bush talk to you and wrap you in a dream that unfortunately fell into their trap of generating money and with so much sacrifice Of me working hard to get to the place invest my time and dedication so that the classes were increasingly poorer. Imagine that many of the classes I felt that the teacher did not know where to start or even what to do. It was and will be an incredible disappointment. In addition, I have to continue paying for the classes without being involved. but it is much more efficient to finish paying them and not go or better never enter their courses. Right now I am doing much more on Instragram and doing many collaborations than being at John casablancas. TRUST ME! It is not worth the sacrifice of many of these parents that with so much sacrifice I saw that they were taking their children.

This is an amazing company.....I have took class here and graduated.They are such amazing people to work with.When I tell you my first time going there my confidence was very low my walk was not so great and I was just a mess lol but once I took those classes and put the time and effort it showed that it was worth it why because my walk was soo better my confidence got better not only that I graduated and got signed and have a 3 year contract with them!!!!!!

This is not a scam you pay because there are people that teach you things that you need to know and they have to get payed so that’s where your money goes too and you are also given materials such as makeup brushes and books and it teaches you to raise your confidence.

After hearing the answering machine, dailing #1 and #7 for Q I spoke to Andrea Ridwood I think her name was and she seem careless about my concerns. On top of that she was very rude and hung up the phone on me. It is just unbelievable. Luckily there is a God watching every human been in this world. ; )

This Place Is A Total Scam. They Want You To Pay $2,000 So That They Can Develop you And Then Offer You ZERO Guaranteed Work. It Is a Waste Of Time Going Here. They Dont Look For Talent They Look For Money.In response to the owner. I’m not saying that you should be guaranteed work as soon as you step in the industry, but the fact that this “agency” makes everyone go through their program and makes everyone fork up thousands of dollars when there are agencies who will fly you out and teach you with their own money because they know you are worth the risk and this agency wants the money up front and later on (if you book work) is insane. The agency needs to invest in its talent not the other way around.

Honestly the best I learn everyday I’m there.

As others have stated, this company is only interested in selling classes. I have over a decade of experience in film, television and stage acting but they did not even bother with a call back. They bring in kids and clueless people and use tired cliche salesman tactics to lure you into buying classes. They promise you the world up until the point where they realize they have failed to sell their snake oil. Stay far far away from these people.Another review was spot on about the Jennifer Lopez music that was playing way too loud.Skylar is rude and condescending. She doesnt realize that if she was any good at her job she would be out in Hollywood and not stuck in Orlando selling BS. She has all the charm of a 70s used car salesman.

Very sad experience with my 9 Year old, unfortunately I’m a single parent and brought with me my two other children to audition, it is our first time and were never told we couldn’t. The saddest part is that my son kept crying all the way home, we wanted to return and we would’ve come back if it wasn’t for the very rude girl that said to us we couldn’t stay pointing at my 3 year old. Very nice over the phone, super arrogant in Person. Not coming back in a million years.

I never thought that I would make it this far, I’m so pleased with Ashley and Skylar, they are very professional and passionate with there work and trying so hard to help us be professional and be somebody some day. I cannot thank them enough!!!!You giys rock.

I would recomend taking classes here. I went to audition and i made first cut! I went to a meeting the next day and the lady was very rude. I have not modeled or acted in like 3 years and I called them to check if it was an agency and they require you to have recent professional training wich i completely get but the way the talked to you while your trying to have a decent communication with them was insane! I told them what was requierement and they yold me a 30 week trial wich sounded awesome but i aswell asked if they had anything else class wise other than those 30 week and she said “well why would I show you if you are saying you can’t pay it right now” aswell their attitude was just very disrespectful and rude. I have worked with a million places and agencies and this was the most unprofessional attitude ive ever experienced. I work with different agencies aswell but it’s mostly dancing wise so we wanted to start something new and this has been my worst review ever🤣

If you love yourself or your child, dont associate with this company.

So sad. Just for future reference, make sure you save $2,000 before showing up. Because they will surprise you with that on the spot and you cant pay later. Surprise! I dont know who would have that kind of money just sitting in their bank without a purpose, but hey maybe thats you. Good luck rich ppl...
