Hands down the best daycare in town. I’m very picky! I have over twenty years experience that includes childcare and grade school teaching, and they taught me a thing or two! They really helped my son a lot. I also loved that they were reinforcing Spanish that he gets part time at home. I really wish it could have been possible to stay there.

What a great academy! It’s such a rewarding feeling knowing that my child is attending a school who truly cares for their students and takes the time to give them that one on one attention some need. This specific location ( Dean ) has been one of my biggest blessings for my children. As a father I am very protective and want my children to have the best of the best ( as we all do ! ) From the daily updates on things going on at school campus, to the specifics that have to do with my son in the class room. I love it and couldn’t ask for more. ( & I ask for a lot ) Their core values speak for itself because they hit on every single bullet point ( my child’s Movement and cognition, my child’s Choices,My child’s Interest , Avoiding extrinsic rewards , Learning from and with his peers, Learning in context, His Adult interaction with his teachers, even hisOrder In Environment and Mind) They truly believe and practice this every single day. My son is 5 and knows more Spanish than me, already! I want to really emphasize how awesome Ms. Denise & Ms. Ismaely has been. What a great team! Can I give 6 stars!? I hope as my child grows we encounter other teachers as awesome as they have been. I can’t wait for my daughter to begin next year, I really look forward to keeping my children in throughout the whole Montessori cycle.

We are from Chicago, Illinois and Im only here for the summer attending a conference. My daughter is enrolled at an amazing Spanish school in Chicago named Rayito de Sol..even tho Im only in Orlando for a month, I didnt want my child to lose the Spanish language. So, I found out about OMBA and enrolled her for summer school. My child is 5 and is fairly easygoing, very energetic but happy. She seems very happy at the school and the staff seem to value education,Spanish language and children. As long as my child is happy then I am happy. Thank you.Kim and Joselyn.

Great school where children are nurtured and encouraged to be their best. As a mental health counselor I am amazed at the desire to learn that is awakened in their students. I was invited to their international day a few years ago and was impressed with the beauty of diversity of students of different backgrounds and nationalities.I am very pleased that my grandchildren have received their education at OMBA!Glorimar Arias, LMHC

The principal is rude and unprofessional. My son has a medical condition which we mentioned before we started the school. He is 3 and instead of helping our son, she kicked us out and didnt help us with any resources. I have always heard beautiful things about the Montessori style of learning but this location specifically, does NOT support kids with learning differences. Im upset that they conned us into thinking that his Teacher would have a special needs background but later found out that she didnt. Interesting how they kept our deposit as well. My son now attends a new school and is happy, loves his teacher, and comes home saying positive things vs the negative energy he brought home while attending OMBA. My son also had a huge accident at school, and they had my husband sign a paper in spanish for the incident. When he asked for it in English they told him oh, we already spoke to the mother. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and disturbing!*******This is a reply to OMBA comment******We had one teacher / parent meeting and it was to let us know that our son couldnt continue attending the school. We were promised resources to find another school that we never received from the principal. And I find it hard to imagine someone with 23 years experience couldnt manage two additional weeks while we got him into another school. This is during the covid era where everything has had a challenging process including registering for a new school. Point is, OMBA left us stranded and we feel they discriminated against children that have learning disabilities. He is 3!!!! Im not against the Montessori School culture, in fact thats what made us attracted to your school. But in hindsight we definitely would of attempted a different School where they love kids unconditionally and do not discriminate because they are delayed.

As a parent at OMBA, I have had both my kids there since they were 2yrs old, they are 12 and 13 now, as well as my 2 nephews and their cousins. Each and EVERY teacher/staff has been nothing but nurturing and loving. They truly go above and beyond, not only for the kids but the parents too. Most kids, including mine, never want to go home at the end of the day. In the 11 years weve been there, OMBA and staff, have created a home away from home for my kids and have supported me as a parent in so many ways. They say it takes a village to raise a child, OMBA has been my village. One of the most important things I looked for in a school for my kids was the message of tolerance for each and everyone, no matter the race, gender, culture, or faith. They have had friends from all over the world, and we are of middle eastern background, that they have met at OMBA, are still friends with, all students are taught to respect and accept each other no matter the background. The school holds a Holidays Around The World day, where students and parents participate by putting up tents representing their country, culture, and faiths. If I had to enroll them all over again, I would not hesitate because when I drop my kids off in the morning I leave with great confidence they are safe, loved, AND getting the best education.

Montessori is much more than a school for my child and I. It’s a second home (if not a 1st) where she can freely be her and express herself in every aspect of hile also accepting and learning about others. The best experience we’ve had with a school since I took her out for 2 years and she begged to go back. Something she was able to learn at a young age was about other cultures, religions, and to live and respect everyone. That is thanks to the vision they carry of inclusion and freedom. I always recommend OMBA bc there’s something special about a school tailored to your child’s needs and that the child begs to be there bc they feel love and in a great environment. I could go in and on but in a few words, OMBA is worth the drive and investment in my child’s life!

Leaving my kids here is like leaving my kids at my mothers house. These teachers truly love all of the kids. It is like family there. My kids come home about telling me wonderful stories about what they are learning and how they are learning it. They are also SPEAKING SPANISH!!!Not only do they teach academics, they help the kids with learning life skills. ALL of the kids and teachers are so accepting of EVERYONE from all walks of life. Every year there is a celebration of holidays around the world. Allowing the kids to learn and present how different holidays are celebrated in different countries. My children have created lifetime friendships with many students.I have no idea what I am doing as a parent, and am not too proud to admit that. Anytime I receive a compliment about how behaved and polite my kids are, I compliment the school. My son did not want me to pull his tooth, instead he wanted Ms. Diana to pull it. I asked why, he said because he wanted to do it with her. He did not place that tooth under his pillow because he wanted to keep it, since she was the one that pulled it.Thank you for being such incredibly loving individuals to the most important people in my life. You have created so many wonderful experiences my children will cherish for the rest of their lives.

Taking my boys to this school has been one of the Best Decisions I have ever made. My children are much more than just students...they make them feel like they are part of something, part of the family! The values taught at this school go way beyond what any public school can offer. OMBA makes parenting EASIER!

I have so many wonderful things to say about OMBA. My son has been attending for two years now, and recently my daughter has started preschool as well. Both my kids are strong willed and and my son is also spirited. They use a learning strategy has really helped them blossom and come to love learning. I cannot rave enough about their teachers and their administrative staff... they truly have been amazing, being that my kids can be a challenge, lol.. the teachers have never come to me with judgmental nor critical comments, on the contrary, they have highlighted their strengths and have taken the time to implement different strategies to help cope with the challenges... and this 👆🏼rt here is really all that I can ask for. On the side of that, the creativeness of their festivals, their system of communicating my kids progress by text message and their focus on multi language skills are just a plus. 🙌🏽 We are extremely happy with the decision of enrolling them here. 💜

My son has been going here for the past 2 years, I absolutely love this place and the staff is unbelievably great. I have never, not one time questioned his care there. He has learned so much and they have really prepared him for vpk. I love that its a smaller school so it makes it feel like family and I know how much my son loves the teachers. Its the best feeling when you know your child is in a loving and caring environment. I just LOVE LOVE this school!!

I homeschooled my son for kindergarten for several reasons, one of them being his significant separation anxiety. The following summer we enrolled him in OMBA’s summer camp program. He had such a smooth, seamless transition that we decided to send him there for first grade. All of the teachers there are so warm and friendly. They are truly invested in their students and they love and care for them as if they were their own children. Professional and loving, their excellent values are reflected in all that they do. At OMBA they have mastered the delicate art of giving young people the firm guidance needed to develop morally and academically, but at the same time letting kids be kids. Learning is fun, hands on, and, frequently, child led. Students learn at their own pace and the focus is on mastery of concepts, not grades. There is equal focus on the critical task of socioemotional development. On top of all this, every day my son amazes me with how much Spanish he has picked up. We try to reinforce what he is learning, but he does not have any fluent Spanish speakers at home. Nonetheless, his understanding of the language is blossoming. My son has made so many friends at OMBA and he adores his teachers. Coming from a child who swore to me he would NEVER go to school, this speaks volumes. When I drop him off each day, I feel like I am leaving him with family. I recommend OMBA wholeheartedly, without hesitation.

When I think of the word excellence OMBA by far surpasses this standard. My daughter has attended OMBA since she was three years old, and not once have I ever second guessed myself about choosing this school for her. She is now 11 years old and has excelled and grown so much not only academically but in every aspect, the positive influence in her life by OMBA has been evident. I have no words to appreciate everything they have poured unto my daughter. Starting from the director to administrative staff, teachers and assistants, these ladies put their whole heart to everything they do. They make sure their students understand the material and show them different ways of learning which helps each kid individually because children do not learn the same way as other classmates with the huge advantage of also learning in Spanish. Every single person that has inquired on my feedback from OMBA can say the same, I fully recommended OMBA to every parent.

Words cannot begin to express how much I love this school. My daughter started when she was two and is now a thriving, bright, independent little girl. I hope to keep her there for years to come. I wish they went up to 12th grade! OMBA provides such a loving environment that it feels like Im dropping my daughter off with family every day. The teachers treat the kids with care and respect yet are firm with them when appropriate. It says a lot when your child doesnt want to leave when you pick her up from school. OMBA fosters independence, curiosity, friendships, diversity, and empathy in an amazing learning environment. Since every child learns at their own pace, there is no pressure to push them. They understand that they will get it when their brains are ready! My 5 year old is reading like a champ, and loves it! The kids at OMBA are also exposed to Spanish all day long. We are a Spanish speaking family so she is exposed to Spanish at home as well. I will say that it is a breath of fresh air to hear children from all different backgrounds speaking Spanish ! Not only do they learn Spanish, they also incorporate ASL in all of their performances. I can go on and on. This is definitely the village Id like my daughter to be a part of for a long time! WE LOVE OMBA.

My two older children attended OMBA from the age of 2.5 until kindergarten until I made a decision to move them to a bigger school (another Montessori) thinking the other school is bigger more resourceful and maybe better. But for my third child I decided to come back to OMBA and I was welcomed back warmly. The schools owner and director, Lucelis Torres, is fabulous. She has her finger on the pulse of her school and works tirelessly for her students. I still remember the day she gave me the tour to her classrooms 7 years ago, I could see the passion in what she does in her eyes so I decided to enroll my child right then and there. You may find schools that are bigger, with fancier playgrounds or parking and have more resources. But you will never find a school that achieves so much academically with so much heart, and warmth for the children. Visit the campus and youll feel it immediately for yourself. Amazing school, a genuine sense of mission and purpose, highly-qualified and committed staff. They are a family and they treat you like one, what else could you ask for.I highly recommend OMBA., your child will be nourished emotionally and academically. If you have questions, you have my name, feel free to contact me.
