Dont actually know how good the school is because the owner was very unprofessional and told me not to try bartending when I couldnt meet when we had planned. Apparently cancelling is a cardinal sin.

American Bartending School was a great educational experience for me. Chris, the instructor blended his expertise, experience and sense of humor to make learning accessible for his students.The training was comprehensive, intensive and the hands-on approach assisted with the sometimes overwhelming subject matter. :)Whether you’re looking for a part-time laid-back gig, a full-time club opportunity, a country club experience or lending your expertise to private parties, this is the place to train and learn.There is no guaranteed job placement, which is understandable as this isn’t their main focus. So it will be up to the student’s personality and drive to work their way into a job that usually requires 1-2 years experience.Negative reviews are from people that don’t understand how the work world works? You have to go out and get it for yourself. No one hands you an opportunity. That said, this was a very positive experience.

I just graduated, and got certified last week. One of the best experiences. The owner,Gabbi and Damon were all amazing, patient, and want to see you succeed. I love that you’re hands on the entire class, and not just sitting and reading. You get to be behind the bar the entire time. I loved it.! Truly recommend it to any upcoming bartenders.

If you have zero bartending experience, but you want to get a job in the industry then I highly recommend taking this two week course. It can be difficult to get a job with no experience but if they see you take initiative like taking this class and getting ahead of the game by taking your TIPS certification it could go a long ways. I just got a position as a bartender and taking what i learned from the class gives me a lot more confidence. The tuition is high but you need to look at it as an investment. They will also offer you with payment options if you need. Overall the staff is wonderful as well as the facility and you will learn some basics and have FUN while doing it!

I decided to bartend out of the blue! I called them and they were very helpful!I love that they cover every aspect of Bartending, its equally challenging and fun!My instructor Gaby was super amazing! And great at explaining the drinks! They definitely work with your speed! If you even have thought about bartending, I say you should definitely do it! Its not your regular way of making money its a fun way!

This place has been so amazing well worth it!! Gaby was one of my instructors and she was just a great help with everything!!! With out her i don’t think i could have passed

Definitely recommend this place for anyone interested in bartending. Instructors are great, Gabby who I got the pleasure to learn from was very helpful and encouraging. The school simulates and sets up like a real bar. There is also opportunity to get Tips Certified.

American bartender school was a very good and fun experience. I learn alot more than what I thought I was gonna learn. The instructors are very good at teaching. They help me under stand what is to be a bartender. Gaby and damien are very good at what they do. Jeff Gaby and damien thanks you guys.

I went to the school a few years back and they told me that I could get a job Nationwide I could not find a job in my hometown area San Luis Obispo and no one would hire me in the grated absolutely nothing for me so then a few years have passed and I moved a few times and I lost my degree so I called them to get a copy of it which they told me when I graduate and get all that I could call them anytime and get all the information I needed I just giving them my name but now theyre telling me I cant and theyre only a three-year contract which they lied is a waste of money dont ever pay for bartending school ask any bartender at any bar

The school is ok but the owner is not polite at all he yelled at me and wasnt able to talk to me properly, I couldnt continue the program theres no way Im going back there ! You dont yelled at people to make them stay !

COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
