(They took out the option to write a review on Facebook in order to remove my review)As a dedicated teacher’s assistant trying to work in happy, loving, learning, and fun environment. I received the total opposite. They made me feel like I didn’t know enough to be doing my job; the job that they have hired me to do. I got yelled at for putting paint on a painting pallet, and not a container. Got yelled at for trying to organize the room and even to rearranging some toys. Cleaning the art cabinet, trying to get rid of really old scraps, paper, dried glue, and unnecessary objects. I was trying to make room for other activities that the children actively use or even considered to add different and new things. Instead had a conflict about it. I need to have permission to organize my classroom. Work can be so overwhelming, they are understaffed. Each teacher feels overtired. Not enough help. Owner tries to help, but it feels so useless. The infant and toddler room can be exhausting when numerous children each don’t get the attention and love they should receive. Parents complain employees come and go. They will never appreciate the hard work we do. Our ideas will quickly get turned down. They will do something we suggested and claim it was their “own” idea. A couple of dishonest promises are made to their employees. It’s very unfortunate because the children are great, energetic, and simply a great group of kids. Gave them two weeks out of respect for their business, they let me go the same day. They mailed my last check. They refused to give me a copy of my file, with my personal information, certificates, my medical records that I gave them and trainings. Told them I was going to contact Rhode Island Labor Board. She apologized and made a copy within the same hour she told me “no” to give me a copy of my personal information. TLC Daycare needs healthier leadership. Not older woman who act like teenagers, petty, and very close minded. Who bad talk about their employees to other employees. Even caught the boss talking about each and every one of us. She tried to explain herself, didn’t want no part of hearing an explanation. I knew that was the last straw that it was not a place for me. The management has issues even with parents. THEY talk so badly about the children. Not sure how this place is still running. It’s a miserable place to work in, thank god for the group of ladies and kids I worked with. They made me push through it. But enough was enough.

I worked here and the children werent given good attention and werent given good care because we were under staff almost all the time. Whenever one of the staff in the toddler and infant area got sick, it would be double hard to look after the children. Teachers are constantly leaving this place.The toddlers and infant are awesome too work but there is little hands to give each one of them good attention and care.The director I found her to be rude and dishonest.

Sent my child there for less than a year. Loved the toddler room teacher. However, I left because my husbands hours changed at work. Also, I am an overnight nurse and the owner did not work with my schedule what so ever. Then after I left she proceeded to fire my favorite teacher and told her I left because of her. I was very disappointed with this daycare.

Called to ask questions and got rude feedback. Not happy how the woman talked to me.Very unacceptable. Dont even bother calling.

The director is very rude.
