I have been going to this school for years and have no complaints. The staff and students are very professional and courteous and I highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about Pearland Innovative. When searching for a school, I took into account class size, teacher/student ratio, location and this exceeded every “big” school in every way. There was a ton of hands on training which other schools didn’t offer or couldn’t promise. I’d say if you are self disciplined, eager to be licensed and motivated this school is for you. I passed both written and practical exams on the first try! The owner is the kindest person ever. I miss school!!!!

I brought my daughter here because as a single dad little lady hair is something I have yet to master. The staff was very friendly and inviting. They made suggestions for my daughters hair and as the students worked on her the instructor (or owner) came by and made suggestions of what the student could do to make her hair look even better. Once they were done I would have swore we were at one of those high priced salons because my daughters hair looked amazing. I could really tell that the students enjoyed being there and that they took there work very serious. I really appreciated that. Now I bring my daughter in about every other week and we have yet to be disappointed.

I had the worst experience of my life here. Please do not put yourself in my position I went in for a root touch up and color only and came out with patches of hair gone and spots everywhere and my hair completely broken. The only concern the owner had was no Refund policy which the sign in log is not a legal document so holds no weight . “She said if you want a professional job go somewhere else “ her words. I don’t understand how can the owner but care about her clients. After I told her I could care less about my $76 refund it’s about the taking ownership and taking responsibility. Then the owner said to come so she can look at. After consulting with my attorney I was advised not to go back. Oh she said my hair war already damaged no my hair was not. I maintain my hair very well. I take pride in it I only went there because I have never had a problem at a beauty school and my lady is out of town for the holidays . This school is a whole different type of school. Please walk away the students need better direction. If I could post pictures I would .

My experience at Pearland Innovative was a pleasant experience the Instructors were every informative. Help with what ever question I may have and also the other students. I know the may be getting bad reviews, but people have to understand that you coming to a school to have a service done which is done students that learning in there profession of cosmetology to become a hairstylist. I’m a Graduate @ Pearlands Innovative my experience was great! I came in a mother of 2 boys and working nights. My goal was to Learn, apply and head out in to world. I can’t tell you the times I was dog tired and STILL went to school Ms. Sabrina and Ms. Natalie made sure that I had everything I needed to succeed. She even taught us about branding,dealing with difficult clients and business dos and dont’s. She proved hands on training in every way. I can’t speak for anyone else but me. I came IN with drive and determination Ms Sabrina supplied the tools, the knowledge and experience she had. She is trying to build entrepreneurship and you have to have what it takes and be willing to apply it. I can’t thank her enough for what she did for me and still does. I stand PEARLAND INNOVATIVE PROUD!!!!

Whatever you do, do NOT enroll with this school! The owner Sabrina Miller and Natalie (her evil assistant) are both nightmares and they are stealing money from the students, they dont have any new equipment for the students to use, they dont have any cleaning products to even properly clean the facility. They are not following COVID guidelines and allowing students and staff to walk around without masks. They do not take ownership of messing up clients hair. They will YELL at clients claiming its their fault They are greedy and money hungry and will try to get as much money out of each student so that they can fund their own financial affairs, such as the owner buying a half a million dollar home from the money she receives for each student, so instead of buying needed supplies for the school such as NEW towels, Styling tools, and updating the school it is spent on her personal finances. They also teach the same thing over and over and you do not learn anything here. Whatever you do not get trapped into this disgrace for a school!!!!!!!!!

I started attending classes at Pearlands Innovative School of Beauty in March. The education I have received here from the staff is one that I am happy I got to experience. Ms.Sabrina is an excellent owner and cares about her students personally and professionally. I highly recommend coming to this school to obtain your license. I am forever grateful to Pearlands Innovative School of Beauty.

Words can barely describe the disappointment I feel about my appointment on Thursday 4-19. I went in at around 10:50 am looking to have my natural hair wash, trimmed, and a rod set. Instead, I left looking a hot mess and embarrassed. It was so bad I left with a scarf on my head after being at the beauty school for 2 1/2 hours. To make matters worst it was an instructor who styled my hair Not a student. The rod set came out poorly, and I noticed my ends were not correctly trimmed. I should have known better when she started cutting my ends before drying my hair. She rushed the process, and the results show that. I would not recommend anyone to this place for nothing more than a trimming if that.My expectations were low since this was a beauty school, but the results were lower than I could ever imagine possible. I was disappointed that the instructor allowed me to leave knowing her style was horrific. For me, this showed me they do not value customers, and their teaching their students to be the same way. Thank you but no thanks never again. I should have listened to the several reviews that mentioned similar issues. Approach this place with caution and low expectations. Note to all: I paid for the style in full and left out wearing a scarf let that soak in. My rating for this place is a ZERO!!!!I will not be stepping foot in your beauty salon again. Your excuse for poor service is that my hair was severely damaged well below is my natural hair people. Please do not offend me to make it look like you upheld quality service. You looked at your styleing and agreeed you messed up. Please see my profile picture and tell me if my natural hair is severely damaged. I’ve been attending Pearland innovative for about 6 1/2 months for the cosmetology program and it’s amazing!! We have a big clientele and we get clients with ALL hair types so we learn everything! Ms. Sabrina is the coolest teacher you probably will ever have. She finds the perfect balance between being disciplined and laid back and fun. She will always help you and teach you something different and new. Lots of love and laughs here at this beauty School highly recommend!!!!

I am a new student here. Ive been here almost two months and the amount of knowledge and technical ability Ive acquired during this time is phenomenal. I appreciate the one on one time as well as the course work. I never thought Id attend a cosmetology school but here I am and this school is nothing short of spectacular. Ive gone to a junior college and a university having seen structure and this plates welcomes you while giving you well balanced structure. Ive grown in all aspects of this industry in such a short amount of time and I know I will continue to grow. This school sets you up for success in the real world and really opens your horizons to yourself and your abilities. Im blessed to be apart of this program.

The service is great, the stylists are friendly and very knowledgeable and the owner Ms. Sabrina is very warm and compassionate. They always out the clients first and make sure you get out of your appointment in an efficient time. Whether youre coming for a wash and style, a roller set, a facial, crochet braids or a sew in, Pearland Innovative beauty school is the place to go.

Let me just say...Simply marvelous experience!! The level of service the student Shmonica was able to perform under the guidance of Mrs. Kimble was outstanding!! Pleasant and friendly environment! They offer a variety of services relaxers, pixi styles, colors and braids to name a few. Only waited minutes as a walk in! Definitely recommend!!

Although everyone is friendly there, I have to say i am disappointed. I went for a spiral perm, the girl did not wash the perm out before putting the nutrilizer on, after the extra minutes for that she rinsed my hair and took out the rods. Needless to say my hair came out straighter than when I went in there. They said it was because I colored my hair more than a month ago with the at home Box color I have perm did my hair and colored my hair since I was 13 years old I have never had a problem my hair has always perm also I dyed my hair over a month ago so therefore I know it was not that its called lack of knowledge at that school my mom also got a perm the 1st day her hair look great except for the bump in the front of her hair right above her forehead because they left a rod loose instead of tightening backup like they should have so now she has this bump of straight and then her hair kind that goes curly because when she woke up this morning her hair is almost straight again horrible place will never go back for any business there ever and I dont recommend anyone else going even though everyone is extremely nice I will never go back there and I dont recommend it to anyone

I own a salon and decided to go to cosmetology school, so that I can understand what stylist have to do throughout the day. Finding Pearland Innovative School of Beauty was a blessing for me. The owner/instructor took a vested interest in each and every student. She personally made sure that we constantly were learning new things and that we fully understood the techniques involved with being a cosmetologist. She was so positive that I would do great that I passed my written and practical with high scores. As a business owner, I would highly recommend this school to any person (of any age) if interest in cosmetology. The prices are more reasonable than other schools and you get a higher education ensuring your success.

Very Professional and friendly staff. I always receive top quality styles and service. The director is well-knowledged regarding all hair ethnicities. I have been a customer since this establishment opened and will continue to come. This is my one stop shop for everything from; facials, waxing, weaves, lashes, manicures, pedicures, relaxers, highlights and more. The facility is clean and conveniently located next to a beauty supply which is great because the staff will help me determine what I need in order to accomplish the exact look I want. Pearland Innovative is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in my book!!!!!

Went to Pearland Innovative for sew in hair extensions. Student Jennifer sewed in the extentions and curled the hair (the curls were nice) and instructor Sabrina finallized the hair style. I left with loose and exposed tracks and thread showing. Went back to have the extensions corrected by Natalie and left in worse condition. I explained to Natalie that my tracks were still showing and she said “I would have to pay to have the extensions taken down and redone”. I expressed my concerns with expecting me to pay again and Natalie said Sabrina will call me. Never got a call from Sabrina, called the school two days later and talked to the receptionist and Dekeisha and Dekeisha requested that Sabrina call me. Sabrina called and I attempted to explain my concerns and Sabrina frequently interrupted me and failed to take ownership. I understand that this is a hair school and the services are preformed by students however, it is disappointing and unacceptable for an instructor to allow a client to walkout with loose and exposed tracks and thread showing. An instructor not preforming their job is a disservice to the students and the clients.Do not go to Pearland Innovative unless you want to waist your money.

Ive attended this school and the experience, education is by far the Best and this is coming from a person that attended another school (no names). Pearland Innovative is the place to go if you want to start your career in the Beauty Industry. The Instuructors have love, passion and understanding, and it shows it in our work! Im browned skinned and in medical profession.So Im usually nervous abt hair coloring since i want it to look elegant and not too much overdone. I went to Pearlands Innovative beauty school and was pleased with the results. My hair stylist was a student but she was guided well by the main teacher in every step of hair cut and color and the results came out beautifully. Give this place a try.

Very disappointed in the time and money wasted on this school. No structure, rules used on certain individuals, others not expected to follow them. Instructor is consistent about being inconsistent, absolutely NOTHING professional about the instructor or owner. Prying into the personal lives of students and discussing students with other students is highly inappropriate, asking a student to leave and go get you food, then pulling her into your office to discuss her attitude because she declined is maddening. Allowing a student to call another student a Motherf***** and allowed to finish her last week after continuously suggesting they take it to the parking lot is absurd. Using students products they purchased on their own (combs, hair care products, etc.) and RUINING them is infuriating. Paying for an education and not opening the book for 3 weeks, or starting after the 1st is not what we are paying for therefore when students are COLD and want the air turned up and told you dont pay the electric bill is a problem because they clearly arent paying for an education. If you feel like wasting time and money, take a long drive and roll down your window, throw hundred dollar bills out at the homeless, at least someone will benefit and appreciate it because after my daughter spent 4 months with these people, the only thing the owner said today was Bye Sweetie. I wish Pearland Innovative Beauty School the very best and hope for the sake of the students enrolled and former students looking to enroll, you change your ways and give these students the opportunities they deserve because you failed mine.

I have been attending Pearland Innovative School of Beauty, since April 2015. It has been nothing but educational, after speaking to countless licensed professionals telling them what I have learned, and what is included in our curriculum, they were shocked at the attentiveness and the extent to which we are taught. From the moment I walked in, I fell in love with this place, the instructors and teachers are awesome! The one on one instruction is incomparable to anything Ive ever experienced. There is a presence of such passion each time you walk through the doors. Encouragement, dedication, and commitment are essential ingredients to success, something the instructors teach us daily. I am so blessed to have found Pearland Innovative, if it werent for this school I probably wouldnt have ever pursued my ambitions to be a cosmetologist.. This is my hood. As a Pearland 30+ year resident and a Pearland High School Graduate, it was my pleasure to find a school that I could refresh my cosmetology skills in my own neighborhood. I had a great connection with the students and staff as I successfully completed my course. I love the diversity and would recommend anyone interested in obtaining a cosmetology, esthetics, nail tech license or simply just to get beautified to stop on in and get the hook up no pun intended 😀.
