My first experience at Latin Dance Factory was 2 years ago when attended one of the bachata weekend boot camps. I absolutely loved it! I couldnt continue with the classes because I moved away. I moved back to Houston a couple of months ago and I decided to try it out again. It was even better than the first time! I was very nervous at first because I was a total beginner, but by the end of the class walked out with an incredible amount of confidence. Christian, the instructor, was very patient and thorough during the lesson so it was easy to keep up. His funny sense of humor helped a lot to break the ice. The crowd has been very respectful and friendly as well. Ive been attending his classes and events for the past couple of months and I recommend this place to everyone now! I love how they provide people with the opportunity to practice their new moves in a more social setting at the Friday parties around Houston. Those are always fun. For some, it may seem a little bit overwhelming when you first learn to dance just about anything but I can assure you, it will get easier quickly! Never hesitate to ask questions and keep attending, its totally worth it!

I highly recommend to anyone that wants to learn how to dance!!! Christian is a great instructor!!! Fun environment & it doesnt feel like you are taking a class. No class is the same, so you will always learn different moves. Christian is such a passionate dancer, and cant wait to take more classes.

This is the perfect place to learn how to dance. I have been taking Latin dance classes for over a year and compared to other places I can tell you that Christian is one of the best instructors; I really enjoyed his style of teaching. Christian is very patient with beginners but also knows how to challenge his students to keep them motivated.I would highly recommend Christian’s dance classes to anyone!

I finally found a place where I can enjoy learning to dance without feeling pressured and putting a big dent in my wallet. The classes are always challenging and you will always learn different moves at each class. Christian is very patient and meticulous, which is the type of instructor you want in order for you to look like a pro on the dance floor!

Christian is choreographing our wedding dance - we are doing a classic waltz then moving into a latin dance. I showed him more or less what I was looking for and he put together a beautifully constructed dance and the best part is that after 2 classes my fiance and I feel way more confident (neither of us are dancers or have a background in dance we had to start and struggle with the basics). Christian has amazing customer service, is super patient, and super talented. Thank you so much!

I would suggest to not registering for package class. Just take one or two class with Latin Dance Factory and then decide. I have only attended the class once. The male instructor thought he is assertive but actually he was rude and disrespectful. If you are looking to have a memorable day and enjoy while learning then this might not be the class for you.

I tried the dance night at Amazon Grill. I thought the price was affordable however, class started 15 minutes late and the break was long. The instructor took a lot of class time to give a commercial about other dance classes he offered. I think that classtime should focus on dancing and let people know to talk to the instructor after the course if they want more info. The female instructor was so sweet and patient. She showed a lot of care in breaking down the moves. The male instructor was more on the Dance Moms side when it came to personality, though, I guess some people are just like that but I dont care for it when I am trying to learn something new. Since class started late and there was a long break, I didnt get out of there until 10:25 p.m. Just FYI. If you have nothing better to do and dont need to work the next day, I guess it will be ok.

I started taking salsa lessons from Latin Dance Factory 3 weeks ago , have been learning all the different steps and turns that I always saw other dancers do on the dance floor when I was at a club. Attended a social party that same week and had a fabulous time meeting new people and learning new steps.I just took my first lesson in Bachata , a dance I had no idea how to do. By the end of the lesson I felt confident to go out to any dance floor and dance Bachata! The instructions are simple and Christian doesnt move into the next step until he sees that you have learned it correctly.I highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a dance studio to try and see for yourself that , Latin Dance Factory is the place to be !

I’ve been taking classes with Christian at Latin Dance Factory for about a month now, and I’ve gotta say I love it. I’ve been taking the Salsa, Cumbia, Bachata and Merengue class, and I love them all! When I was first trying to figure out which dance studio to join, I looked into about 10-15 of them. I considered price, dedication, location, and the overall mood. I was pleased to find that unlike other dance studios, Latin Dance Factory allows you to take classes at your pace. If you can’t make it to practice, your money is not taken from you. This may not seem like a big deal, but when you have work, kids, school or other responsibilities, it matters greatly. I also love the fact that as soon as I contacted him via text he replied within minutes, every time to every question. He seems to really love to dance and even invites us out to dance afterward, at places where there is no cover. One of my favorite things about these classes are that they are mostly in the evening around 7pm, with a regular job, getting off on time to go to class, well I just couldn’t find any places, until now!!The group classes range from 6 – 16, when you consider a price like $12 (even less if you buy more in advance) it’s actually a great deal. Other studios had 30+ members per class. But it’s not only about the money; Christian seems to really love what he does. He encourages his students to continue even when they think they’ll never learn. I’ve seen some of his students dance, after 6 months, and they already look like professionals! I can’t wait to get that good.I highly recommend The Latin Dance Factory!

This dance studio does its best work NOT in the studio! LDF sponsors and organizes a bunch of 1 hour lessons and social dance parties at bars and restaurants around the city, like Bacchus (some Fridays in Montrose), Papparuchos (Wed beginner and Thurs intermediate in Galleria), Mos steakhouse, and Arrandas. They also have 3 hr workshops some weekends for more technical stuff. I recommend getting your feet wet in a 1 hr class &party, then if you like it, go to a workshop to really learn it. They are teaching salsa, bachata(!!!), and kizomba(!!!). Buy discounted tickets early through their website.Christian is excellent at getting everyone to dance. His short lessons before parties are designed so that both a novice and an experienced dancer can learn something - and that is a tough balancing act! There is a really great group of people that go to the bachata parties at Bacchus (1 or 2 Fridays per month). Great mix of styles, ages, backgrounds; and all the people that go love to dance. Very few stick to the sidelines. I love that atmosphere. I get asked to dance by strangers all the time(which is good IMO)!! Plus, they play better music selection than in your typical club.

I really love it !! I spent a few months at Latin Dance Factory, I couldnt be there longer because I left Houston - but otherwise I would be with Christian forever! He is very good teacher and very good dancer. He can teach you how to dance Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Cumbia and Marange. Great time and great company - I miss it so much !If you have an opportunity, try to be at lesson with Vira, She will teach us women, how to dance with elegance and grace. All the best and see you in Warsaw :)

Yesterday I took my husband to Christians Salsa Bootcamp for Beginners and I was truly impressed! Ive been taking dance lesson for a while, but my husband who has two left feet has not. Christian made it very easy for everyone to follow and to do so with proper technique. By the end of the class everyone was doing not only beginner moves such as right turns, and simple Cross Body Leads (CBLs), but also CBLs with hold turns, hammerlock turns, and other intermediate moves! This was time and money well spent! We will difinately come back to other Bootcamps time permiting!!

About 4 months ago, my wife enrolled us in Bachata dance classes with Christian without my knowledge. Ive never danced before and Id always feel uncomfortable in dance settings. But, my wife loves to dance and she really wanted to learn Bachata. So, I gave dancing lessons a chance with Christian. After about a month of lessons, my wife and I ventured out to try our newly learned dance moves at a club where unknown to us were very seasoned dancers who gathered weekly to dance. Quickly, we discovered our level of dance skills compared to the professional-like dancers was rudimentary at best. However, we were not discouraged, in fact we stayed and observed the dancers. After leaving the club, I told my wife I wanted to learn salsa and dance like the dancers in the club. At our next Bachata lesson with Christian, we enrolled for salsa lessons concurrently with our Bachata classes. We now dance 3-4 times a week as this is becoming our passion. Thanks to Christian, I now have the confidence to take my wife out and dance with her in any setting. In addition to classes, we attend the monthly socials where we put into practice what we learn and meet other people sharing in our passion. If you want to learn Latin dance, then look no further than Christian at Latin Dance Factory. Christian is very good in his profession of Latin dance and his passion for dance is very apparent. Hes especially good at breaking down the dance steps to make you technically sound. Every chance he gets, Christian offers his students opportunities to learn more by way of dance workshops. All this at reasonable rates. I highly recommend Christian.
