My daughter has been attending here for the past 6 months and is flourishing. They are attentive and have low turnover so my daughter is growing up with familiar faces. They have a good curriculum and the rooms are designed to be inspiring. Any issues I have experienced have been rectified promptly. Looking forward to many more years of growth and development for my little one.

This is an outstanding school, great people, curriculum is beyond what you can imagine. However, I noticed couple of changes in the school that might affect its reputation. Too many new faces on the admin side but I guess they are somewhat effective, accounting people seems to be pretty busy nowadays.Tuition fee went up almost 7% over the past few years.Changes are good, if the person in charge is efficient/experienced, but if not or lacking the experience to implement changes then this could totally ruin everything. But anyways.I give this school a 4 Star for the education. But all the new stuff going on, you took away your 1 Star yourselves.

Montessori School of Downtown is a phenomenal place to send your child. My son has learned his shapes, colors, and even counts in Spanish. Enrolling my son in this school was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Montessori School of Downtown truly cares about their students, while creating a fun and disciplined learning environment. The staff and the teachers are amazing, as well.

My son is in the school of infants. They have done a great job getting him to learn the alphabet, his colors, and basic vocabulary. His teachers have also worked miracles to help him improve his interactions with others and basic social skills. All in all, its been a great facility for my son to learn and grow.

My son (now 2.5 years old) has been in the school for a year, he has been growing quickly. He could concentrate on things for longer time after he started to go to school. When he was transferred to senior toddler, he knows to clean up after he finishes up eating! Sings songs that I did not play for him, recognizes letters and numbers. So I think the teachers taught him.The only suggestions I have would be that let kids play outside for longer period if possible, especially when they are getting older and need more outdoor activities, and offer more variety of lunches.

We have been unbelievably grateful for Montessori School of Downtown Silverlake campus. Our son has thrived beyond our expectations in such a short period of time. Each and every one of the teachers and staff is dedicated to the education and safety of the children. The feedback in all aspects of the academic and equally important social education of our child is exceptionally detailed. We have been impressed with every facet of the school and highly recommend this campus.

We absolutely love Montessori Silverlake. The teacher and administrators are so kind and passionate about their jobs. Our son has thrived and we see a difference in his development every day. We couldnt be happier. They also love my son, which is hard to find in childcare facilities these days. I can tell they are passionate and it truly makes a difference!

I have three kids that have been coming here since age 2. My oldest are now in the second grade and my youngest is in the first grade.It’s a beautiful school and the community is incredible, but it’s the teachers that really make this place special.

My daughter started with the school in August and I could tell a huge difference in her discipline, focus, and academics. At just 3 yrs old she is well ahead of her peers! This school practices love and makes learning fun. I also feel that my child is given quality food and is Safe! We are very happy with our decision to have moved her from her last school to here and wish we had done it sooner!

Both of our kids go to their daycare programs. They learn lots of things at school and most importantly both of them are very happy with their school. Especially my son adored his previous teacher, Ms. Josey. Downsides are that our current teachers are very strict, disciplined and management is doing a strong marketing push for you to pick them over the public school by keep suggesting that your kid would struggle with public and he/she need more attention etc... which is disturbing.

I have a 2 years old thats been there since 11 months of age and she have learn so much!! also, teachers helped the two of us during our separations anxiety transition with so much patience, now I can see that she enjoys her time in school so much more. We love and appreciate Montessori school at Silverlake ❤

I have been very pleased so far with my experience so far.. The staff is always professional and helpful. I feel the curriculum is allowing my son to blossom and enjoy learning while being challenged at the same time.

The school is amazing... Great curriculum, safe environment for our children. We absolutely love how much they have learned and are growing. The communication with teachers could improve, but altogether we love the school!

Montessori School of Downtown in Pearland (Silver lake location) has been wonderful for both my kids. They learn so much in such a short amount of time and the atmosphere is very intimate in which every faculty knows each kid personally. I feel at ease having my kids here.

My son, now 5 made a huge improvement in learning and now has the confidence to do things on his own. Love the structure and the staff. MSODT is a great place.

Teachers and staff here are amazing and very well organized. We have been very pleased with the development of our child over the course of the last few years here and know it has a lot to do with the quality of the curriculum and the caring of the teachers and staff. THank you for all you do!

Our daughter has been going to Montessori of Downtown Silverlake since she was 6 months old. We have loved the teachers and the curriculum. Great experience, but really not a fan of the extra costs for the winter, spring break and summer camps for the under age 4 group.

The school is great and kids learn a lot of discipline and structured learning.My son improved in sharing with his friends. I will highly recommend parents to join their kids in Silverlake branch.

This is an excellent school! They have a great curriculum and all the teachers are amazing. We havent had a single issue so far because it is so well run and organized. My daughter was at another school prior to MSODT and she hated it and would cry everyday. But she loves her teachers at this school and she is learning so much more.

Ms. Ismat is a great teacher. My kid loves her so much. I can see the improvement after couple of month after he first attend school.

I went to this school myself around 10 years ago, 2004-2008. And my cousin went a few years ago. Montessori school is overall great for excelled learning, and sets up a foundation for a successful future.

Its a great school in terms of meeting your childs learning needs.

My daughter is in Asia class with Ms.Anjanee. She loves to go to school everyday. Kids get very disciplined, structured curriculum helps them to love what they learn. I really like Ms.Anjanees individual focus with kids based on their level and thats what make them to love to learn.

My son goes to this school. He is always received well. The teachers are amazing and the curriculum as well as extra curricular activites are great

My son has been attending MSODT for the past two years. I have not heard of, or experienced, any of the claims in the negative reviews. I receive incident reports for even the smallest of occurrences during class/play time, and have had staff call and update me if he wasnt feeling well. All of my interactions with the teachers and administrators have been very positive and helpful. Both my wife and I are very picky when dealing with our sons education, and we feel confident that MSODT will continue to deliver results.

My son has been going to MSODT for over a year now and we have loved it since he started. We feel that he is safe and very well taken care of here, and the staff is very nurturing and kind. They also take their job seriously, and since day one, we have noticed that all the staff knew my sons name and who he was, even if he wasnt in their classroom. They are also experienced, some having been there for many years.There is always a staff member at the door during pickup and dropoff times monitoring the area and making sure it is secure. They do a wide range of learning and play activities and my son is always happy coming home from MSODT. They provide photos, videos from these times and a daily report through the tadpoles app. At first, we wanted a place with cameras so we can check in on him, but we feel now that this would have cause more anxiety for us, and MSODT has an open door policy and they have been more than happy to let us come visit and see him anytime, and have large glass windows you can see the classrooms through easily from inside. You know that they care deeply about your child and work so hard every day. Although they are priced higher than some other places, you can see where the money goes. The facility is beautiful and always well kept. I highly recommend MSODT in Pearland!

Thus far, I am VERY pleased with my experience here! When my daughter started school, I was so nervous about the new experience. She has been treated with respect and care. Ive observed the staff taking an approach that helps children to be optimally comfortable with their environment (psychological), then intergrating in the curriculum (education) as well. I feel like they get it. It means the world to a mom to leave her child in the care of another and feel shes making the right choice. They have made both moms and our daughter feel very secure. I could not be more pleased. I called every morning after leaving my daughter there. They were very honest about how she was doing that day (crying, whining, crying even with consoling etc.) Ms. Sue and I would work together to make appropriate goals/intervention for my daughter to help ease her into school. Shes 18 months and now staying all day without incident DUE TO MS. SUE and the TEACHERS EXCEPTIONAL CONSIDERATION and SKILLS. Thankfully, they are patient with new mothers and/or helicopter moms too. As our daughter is in an non-conventional home (same-sex parents), we were a bit concerned about the schools reaction/treatment. Everyone there has been absolutely wonderful! Since starting in this school, our daughter is excelling in her use of vocabulary and trying to use her fingers to count. Weve noticed shes been playing/learning differently since in school. She is more eager to cooperate with new games and educational activities.I am not an easy-to-please type. That being said, I AM PLEASED x5 STARS!!!

I sent both my children to this school. The clammed they have great curriculum and it works for twenty years. After my oldest child started public school I noticed they just pushed my child to learn read and write from early age without learning concept. The education was not appropriate for the age. There was not art such as play doh in their education which help early ages to help in writhing skills in the late ages. The teacher was center (which is not Montessori philosophy) and the discipline was not appropriate for their age. After my youngest son started Motessori School in other place, I noticed what was the philosophy of Montessori.

We love the level of care and the people who actually interact with the children. The new tadpoles system is also great for direct line of contact with teachers.Accounting and Tuition is where they fall short. It is rather costly to keep your child enrolled here. To be fair, we have yet to reach out to other local schools with similar levels of care since we enrolled 3 years ago, but that is soon to change given the current trend of increases. Over the past 3 years an average 7.5% annual increase in tuition has been observed.And when you have billing questions, good luck. They attempted to use a third party service (SMART enrollment) for tuition and payment services (which was an additional fee passed on to the students) but that failed. Now to get hold of accounting is difficult. The issue is that they have only one person in charge of multiple locations and this person does not have regular hours at any said location.Also they held an informational meeting a little over a year ago with the premise of educating parents on options available to lower tuition fees. In reality it was a recruiting session to get your company to sponsor your child. They call it employer sponsored programs, they have a little info about it on their website. Mr D.S. led the session to explain how it all worked. He wanted parents to arrange sit down(s) with parents employers and himself to describe the process since they claim it is a tax write off for employers. I asked if could cite any specifics of the tax code they used for this claim at the meeting and he said we did not need know the specifics but need to get the meetings. Since I can only speculate, I assume they write off donations to MSOD system as sponsors to their single non-profit location (Shipra) then adjust your childs tuition accordingly. The whole idea of child based sponsorship seems like an unfair advantage for parents who work for larger companies if you ask me. They are very secretive about this program if you press them on details.If you want great care and can stomach driving past the department heads Jaguars and BMWs in the parking lot everyday when you pickup your child, it is a great option for child care in Pearland.

My son Hasan is in Ms. Jossie class (pre-primary). He loves his teacher so much as she not only was his teacher, but a person who can have an impact on his educational capabilities.My son at age 5, can read a three letter words, can add two digits and knows how to apply addition when asked to do a mathematical problem. We are very pleased with his intellectual development and behavioral progress as well.Hats Off To All !

I wouldnt be surprised if i was restricted from commenting. My son has no reason to lie about who did this! Ms. Anjinee has only been there for a year so OF COURSE you can call ANYONE from before her time and they will tell you a different story about the facility. we do not believe Ms. Anjinee because you are constantly changing the story! The first time Shuti says MS ANJINEE is sorry for what she did to my son, then says she never did it that it was Joshua, another student who did it. Be consistent with your story because this is going to the AUTHORITIES!!

What an engaging environment for the children!

The school did not teach cirriculum concepts that met standards public schools exceeded. The teachers were also rather draconian to the students there, namely Mr. Clements.
