Went in for a consultation just to be made fun of by the staff. I came in saying how I wanted to lose 25 pounds, I was being told “you will never get where you want to be” by the man for not wanting to pay 50$ Per personal training session. This whole place is just to scam you of you of your money the funny thing is the man at the counter was chunky himself.

So far so good.Better than I expect. Great coach and friendly staff! I love this gym.If you are the first comer for Boxing and Kickboxing classes, I highly recommend Coach Dejuan class. You can feel different high energy!

Great gym I love the environment - perfect vibe to be around when working out! I’ve taken the classes as well, sooooo worth what I pay a month. The coaches are great and really love what they do! 10/10 recommend.

Been in the training industry for 10+ years. Gym is nice, and prices are decent. But I’ve noticed the quality of personal trainers is not there none of the trainers have a certification to train. I asked the man at the computer on my way out one day if all the coaches where certified and he was surprised by the question. This could lead to someone getting hurt because of the trainers lack of knowledge and is very illegal in most gyms.

Came in for a consultation just to overhear the manager and so called “coach” make inappropriate remarks about a female gym member. Secondly I was questioned on my financial position when saying prices seemed a little to high for me. What I take from this experience is that the gym has creeps working for them and do not make you feel welcomed!

I haven’t been in the gym yet I just want to learn how to actually fight in the octagon and in a street fight so I want to know if this is the gym for me ?

Good coaches but never is cleaned or taken care of very surprised this place is still running due to covid, don’t get me started on management very unorganized and rude.

Give this gym a 5/10.My kids loved the boxing classes with Ash inside the octagon. He is very patient & friendly with the kids to make sure they all have a good time. Front desk & staff made you feel welcome. Coaches are all great. What I did start to notice is.. when does it get clean? New classes with adults started inside the octagon as well, also didn’t see cleaning after the class. You would think staff would be a little more considerate during a pandemic.Cleanliness didn’t end in the octagon but the whole gym. “cleaning spray” smells like could be windex, spider webs on every workout equipment, I don’t think the red carpet area has ever been vacuumed.And good luck cancelling your membership here. Thankfully I only bought a membership for my kids & not myself.

The gym is great and has lots of equipment. Very clean. I am confident Ill meet all my fitness goals here. I am loving it so far.

This is a very nice and sanitary gym. I’ve only been there 2 weeks and have seen so many different way that they keep clean and Covid free which is huge to a lot of people. Very friendly coaches, a good gym to go if you need to go train by yourself, or if you want 1 on 1 training. They have it all here. Join this gym it’s the best investing I’ve done in a while.

Classes and exercise are good. Coaches are pretty awesome, but management is very bad. So I needed to cancel my subscription due to personal problems I had in my life(which meant I had to relocate cities) I called them over the phone to see what we’re the steps to cancel a subscription and the manager at the time (March 2020) said that I could cancel over the phone. So I did. 3 months later, surprise! I got charged $107.17. They hadn’t cancel my subscription but just placed a freeze. That’s what the present manager stated. So, I again cancelled it. They also told me to send an email to cancel. Which I did! So fast forward it to September 2020. It’s been 4 months of 107.17 every month. I finally had to drive 6 hours to houston and go to that gym personally and cancel my subscription in person and get some type of paperwork showing the cancellation. Which the present manager stated that you have to fill out a cancellation form, that was the new method! So hopefully this time they did cancel my subscription!! Just be careful when you cancel! Make sure you get a paperwork showing that you cancel!! Good luck and stay healthy !

I used this gym for year!ms for my daughter. Loved every aspect of it until COVID hit. When COVID hit I wasn’t ready to put her back I. So I called to freeze her account until school started. 7 days later they unfroze my account and charged me. I called they said someone was miss informed and should not have frozen my account. I said let’s cancel. I was told I could send in an email to cancel immediately for the inconvenience and mis communication. I though I was done. That was in June. In September I’m still getting charged after months of back and for and speaking to the same person Abel. Everytime I left the conversation feeling good only to keep receiving bills and not getting my money back. I recently disputed a charge and that got denied because I didn’t cancel the correct way. I was told many you manager the person running the gym that with COVID an email would be enough.. I kept wanting to end on a good note because I knew I would come back in the future. But nope not doing it. Abel is horrible and didn’t not follow through with what he promised over the phone. I use to recommend this gym to everyone. Now it’s the opposite I will tell anyone who will listen that this gym because of the manager should not be trusted. It’s all talk. All I ask was to cancel. And after that second time charging I just wanted my money back. I have the phone logs and the emails that never got responses to prove it all. Good luck I hope y’all make it through the pandemic.Update*** we all understand the policy your manager told me to send an email due to quarantine. You should train them to stop telling people that because I’ve read the reviews it has happened multiple times. You guys are immoral for praying on people during the pandemic knowing people were nervous about going to a gym Especially when kids are involved . Especially a gym as dirty as yours. . So the moral of the situation Is that your staff should take responsibility for giving in correct information. Lucky for me if I want to pursue this further I have phone records and emails. The staff here are constantly working to develop new workouts and challenges, that keep its members changing and improving. Im greeted by a genuine smile and spoken to by name, when I first walk through the door. The entire staff here, the counter person, coaches and management, are one of the best thats been here in a while. They seem to truly enjoy their jobs, and it shows.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYMVery disappointed with this gym. When covid-19 started, I paused my gym membership, that same day they charged me for the month saying that I needed to give them a 10 day notice. In August they started charging me again, despite the fact that I went in there the day before to discuss a previous charge and let them know that I was not coming back for another month or two since I wasnt comfortable going to the gym with the pandemic. They refused to provide a refund and told me that I had to keep refreezing my account every few months or they would charge me again. I have spent the last few months going back and forth regarding charges and the gym rate. Due to the issues above, the manager Abe agreed to lower my monthly rate once I returned. We decided to return, but after 3 months the gym rate hadnt been lowered. Each time I discussed it with the manager, he said it would be lowered the next month. I then asked to cancel my membership. The manager offered me one month free due to the previously mentioned issues, but I told him I still wanted the account cancelled. This month I just received another charge. They are claiming that I have to pay one final time for a gym membership I am not using and canceled 2 months ago on December 3rd. Im not sure who to reach out to for help, but I thought I should do my best to let people know not to join this gym.

This is a stunning facility with incredibly, knowledgeable, and motivational instructure. Truly love this gym my son gets amazing workouts every time he goes through. Trainers and manager are very down to earth. Very well manage, clean facility, and awesome trainers. You have to go check it out!!

It is the great facility with high quality equipment. The staffs and coaches are very knowledgeable and kind with enough backgrounds in all aspects of fitness. The atmosphere is very family friendly with fun energy. Specially, I really like Coach Tonto Classes. He is just real!

There is no interest from ownership in providing legitimate martial arts training at this gym. If you like cardio based classes perhaps this place is for you. Dont let the UFC moniker fool you as it is just a marketing ploy.

First off in February, I canceled all my private sessions, yet in June they begin charging me for private sessions I didnt pay for. Secondly, if you have dreams of becoming a boxer don’t come to this place, because unless you pay for the elite membership, you will NOT be able to hit the bag during class time because “you are distracting the class”, despite me asking the coaches an they having no problem with it. I could only make it to the gym at 6:30, and until 8:30 the classes go on. So you’re telling me I can’t hit the bag until 8:30? None of the coaches ever had an issue with me using the bag while they taught, but it suddenly becomes a crime when I use it?. The coaches are extremely friendly and know what they are doing but when it comes to management they essentially scammed me. If you do choose to come here, have dealing with owners.

If you are looking for a quality gym this is NOT the place. Management is ruining this gym. There are many better options for training in the Pearland area. They have had many quality instructors but they all leave cause they do not care about their people or their customers. Go get your moneys worth somewhere else, this place is a rip off.

We started this gym from very beginning and there might have been growing pains with staff and management, but I have to say it has always been top tier. Weve always had great coaches, and the staff cares for cleanliness.I am happy that my whole family gets to enjoy the variety of classes this gym has to offer. The youth classes keep my kids focused.The 5:30 am classes with Joel Whittle always get my day started. ALL coaches are amazing and push you to your limit, while they teach you new techniques!! You dont need to become a fighter to train like one. #traindifferent

By far one of the best gyms I have been part of. I love walking into the gym and feeling like it is almost a family to me. The coaches and the staff are some of the best. Don’t believe the reviews that you see on this place cause of one coach that couldn’t even show up on time was disgruntled that they found a coach that shows up on time and actually wants to improve this gym and told other people that haven’t even been to the gym to write bad reviews.. very childish from a grown man. This gym helped me in ways I can’t even say. I’m retired military and had a lot of issues with PTSD and this gym really helps me calm down and got me out in public again and to regain the confidence I had in myself again!

Owner has no clue how to manage a martial arts facility. At one time there was awesome BJJ here, but they made sure to kill it. Would not recommend. There are way better options in the pearland area.

The place is nice in theory but too overcrowded and the teacher to student ratio is off the chart!, so I cancelled my account! I am talking about 1 teacher for like 20 kids ranging from 6-12yr old! I tried to stick it out for like 6 months but my son did not get enough attention to learn correct form! He would be goofing around for like 10 minutes before it was his turn to punch or kick for 20 seconds. I really miss the Missouri City gym, they were smaller and my son learned a lot more there. Now I have to try to find another UFC gym with smaller class sizes or at least an extra teacher for a large class, ugh!

My wife was there and the staff was disrespectful and blew my wife off after asking about additional charges on her acct. The individual said you “probably knew and forgot”. Called and spoke to the manager Kim and his attitude was pretty much the same. I’m retired military and have been to hundreds of different gyms and this by far is unacceptable. I also brought up we wanted to cancel and he said he could not guarantee it..

Please note the fine print and hidden fees. It takes 2 months to quit this place. 1 month from the day you quit you still have to cover all membership fees that you would have normally owed, then they keep your last month after that. They pull that well you signed the contract like some cheap contractor that you read about on the BBB. We ended up quitting for a couple reasons for the following-They play music with cuss words while children are training.Too expensive for adult plansMiscommunicationAnd one more that Ill update shortly on this post so everyone can see.

We signed both of our boys up for the UFC gym Oct 2017. We have been extremely happy with coach Trent. He has the most patience I have ever seen working with Kids. The Jiu-Jitsu youth classes are fun and engaging. Coach Trent does a fantastic job with teaching the children the positions and making the program engaging.The staff at this gym has also been wonderful. Right when we walk in the door we are greeted with friendly faces, who now know us by name.We decided to have our sons 8th birthday party at the gym. It was so awesome to have someone else prepare for the party, it was worth every penny. When we arrived the tables were set and ready. We had two staff members helping serve food and cake, which allowed us to enjoy the party and our guest. Coach Trent provided his time with all of the kids who attended. My son had so much fun that he declared this birthday party to be the best he has ever had.

Must be crazy charging $30.00 every month no membership for being on the treadmill only and nothing else. I can get better gym membership with fully access from $20-$40 at least it has more than just using a treadmill. Expensive. Telling all my family and friends to not go here and stick with 24 hours fitness. WORST WASTE $30.00 JUST FOR SOME TREADMILLS???!!!! Nothing else? RIP OFF

These two Managers, Nicolas Martin and Cal Adams. Cal Adams always making racial comments about Asians, African Americans, Hispanics, Indians and Nick was always clueless. I am not sure how these two became managers. No analytical skills, NO critical thinking skills. These two men are Always making degrading remarks about women and trying to justify it into sales techniques. They would send the females out to do events in the heat of the day and while we were generating leads they would back door and take them, take our sales, take our appointments, not give us our commission, not assign our sales to us and then have us do it all over again.

First, let me admit that I hate the gym...I hate gyms in general and I hate going. I am happy to admit that I no longer feel this way : ). I am a 40 year old woman who had reservations about UFC gym until I actually attended my first class. I typically go to the 5:30 a.m. classes with Coach Joel Whittle, everyday is something new; the variety and the classes taught by experts are showing up in physical results for me (!!!). This is one of the few times in my life have actually been able to see and feel the results of workouts. I personally prefer to attend classes over going to the gym and having to come up with my own routine and heres what I have experienced:•No matter what your current level of fitness is, this is the gym for you and you can attend just about any class you want to (obviously, adults cannot attend childrens classes and vice-versa) .• The instructors provide modifications for everything, so theres no excuses to not be active throughout the class. Thanks UFC instructors and coaches!• If you show up and try, every time, you will see results!• A free One on one session with a coach is offered to newcomers ...attend this and absorb the knowledge youll receive. They do NOT try to sell you on personal fitness instruction but provide valuable tools to get what you want from your workout. Personal training sessions are offered and available - youll have to ask about it yourself, though.• Affordability! I used to go to OrangeTheory Fitness and paid $149.99/month for the unlimited package. I pay about a third of that at UFC and can go to any adult class or use the gym anytime theres an adult class or the gym is open. Unlimited.I have lost several inches from my waist/arms/thighs/calves; have increased endurance and more energy than I have in years. I actually look forward to going to the variety of classes and getting/staying healthy. If you have children, this gym offers a multitude of childrens classes and numerous families attend regularly. I am single and have no children...there are many of us there, too! Stop by and try it out. You have nothing to lose but being unhealthy ; )

There is probably 1 professional person here! And thats Travis. I can no longer come to the gym because i dont have a ride or Transportation. But the new manager refuses too cancel my account. He is a bit rude over the phone too. They keep charging my account and I have told them i cannot come back there. I have emailed him and i have told them to stop charging my bank card but they dont listen

Hi, I am a member of ufc gym pearland. I was working out at around 10 am this morning and one of your staff by the name of joel whittle is hovering around us. He did the same thing yesterday when I was working out with another gym member. I told him yesterday that I was just working out with that member. Today I was working out with a different member and he was hovering over us . I asked him if there was any problem. He replied are you training one on one I said we were just working out. And He said then theres no problem. ,You seem upset. I said no, And I told him if my movements seem smooth it was because I used to fight . And he turns around and says a sarcastic comment. You should be more selective with the people you hire. He needs to be educated on customer service.They should be more professional and not rude. He was very rude and unprofessional . Thus, I am canceling my membership today.

Not over crowded, because everyone has left due to poor management and owners. The non stop changing of trainers is the absolute worst part. The manager is trying to make it a real guys guy type of gym if you know what im saying. Their special class is cut in half pool noodle slapping class.. Whatever the hell that is. The owner keeps the a.c. set at 78 degrees if its on at all. There is another sales/trainer thats super weird and only talks to the ladies to the point its awkward and makes them uncomfortable. The BJJ area is about the size of a normal welcome mat you would have at your house. Never again will I step foot in that place...

Ive been with UFC Pearland along with others since the transition from the Missouri City location. In a world where entitlement is wanted without putting in any amount of effort or demonstrating understanding , in my humble opinion all of the coaches and management are both professional and understanding if your looking for a family oriented gym that will you help achieve your fitness goals UFC Pearland is perfect!.

It is totally different gym, and I can feel UFC fighter training style. It is not too hard and not too soft too. I like this gym.

I actually managed this gym for less than 30 days. It was honestly the worst experience of my professional career. The owners HaYoung and Youngsun Kim are BAD business people. I was told not to give refunds or cancel memberships so they would get a big push in revenue at the end of the month. (I did not comply!) Also, the expectation to clean is more important than getting memberships. The wife watches everyone on the camera all day long and contacts you in time real to tell you things she does not like. I asked for some form of formal training and they told me I would have training 4 months after I started. The owner could not even give me an overview of his expectations for the company. He only bombarded me with revenue goals. I was beginning to see why his previous GM left the gym in such a disarray. Two weeks after I started the owner left to Korea for 3 weeks where I was forced to work with his over bearing wife who has completely no business sense. I will not even mention the language barrier. Overall, there is no wonder why all his trainers and staff started a new gym around the corner (Pearland MMA). If I lived in the Pearland area I would NOT go to this gym. I am actually considering contacting EEO and the BBB because this gym should not be in operation. You have been WARNED!

I have managed to lose 17 pounds in 4 months from only these classes.

They make unauthorized withdrawals from your bank account for gym fees without your consent. Unable to speak to owner bc he is in Korea and no one can help with issues or refunds. Dont sign up..this place steals your money.

Only complaints would be the rates are pretty high and there has been a ton of turnover in the past year.

Why would this establishment ask me to rate them when they fired me for no reason ????
