Im in 11th grade now about to be a senoir so its been a really long time since I left this school. But yeah good school your child will love it. Espescially if they know a lot of people it wIll be even better!!!. One more thing to I want to get off my chest. My 7th grade year I had two mean teachers named ms.Watkins (English) and then ms. Blancas (Reading). So watch out for those two grenches. They will steal your christmas.

I went to this school 2013-2015. I loved this school a lot!!!. Only down part is the food. When I was there my 8th grade year the cheese for the nachos was fake and the pizza was cold. Hopefully they have upgraded from jail food. Jail food was probably a bit better. But yeah other then that its a fun school. I miss it a lot. Another fun part was in 2013 the school use to always blackout. So we did not have to do no work but it was very hot in the classrooms. But yeah other than that its a great school. Not to many fights either. If your child get mr. beck for 8th grade history tell them one of his old students named casey said . WASSSSSSUPPPPPP. One more thing I dont know if this still goes on but when I was there it was this thing called west fest where at the end of the year the school will host a lot of fun events.Talent show.boxing etc. It was pretty fun.

This school is amazing. The GT academy, great staff, and its one of the best schools near Houston.

If you are or will go to this school, then you are in for the best two years of your school life. The Gifted & Talented Academy is amazing. If youre a GT student in Pearland ISD, GO TO THE GTA!!! If youre a regular student, PJH West is going to be a great fit for you. Recommended electives are choir, band, theater, & student aide. Library is VERY student-friendly. Contrary to many beliefs, the oldest school building complex in Pearalnd still offers the best of all worlds. :)
