Only by ofchance did I find this place. My son wanted to do martial arts and saw MA do mini master classes. We have know signed up full time. Truly impressed with the place and the staff are fantastic. We couldnt be more happier and my son truly enjoy his lessons. Have recommended Masters Academy to all my friends.

My son is a student here, Very friendly and professional martial arts company. He absolutely loves the classes and it has helped his confidence. He is only 4 and its making a big difference. He gets excited to go! Great place.

My three kids have been attending Masters Academy Plymouth for more than four years now. The atmosphere is really friendly and positive. The instructors are extremely skilful, knowledgable and approachable, the classes are really enjoyable and informative. All children are treated fairly and equally, I would recommend Masters Academy Plymouth without hesitation.I am so glad I walked my kids through those doors again!

Best thing I have done is to let my two boys join this academy. It’s nearly three years they have been training and absolutely love it! All the coaches are absolutely fantastic and work hard to ensure that each child is looked after and has the support needed. It’s a brilliant place we’re the kids learn self defence and are taught much more then just martial arts. Friendship, anti bullying knowledge, group spirit, respect and achievement are only a few of many things they are learning in this academy.

The kids love it here. All of the staff are friendly, supportive and understanding. The premisis are clean and well kept and the tuition is fantastic.Amazing local find 😁

Just went from my first ever session there, hardest hour of my life but I was surrounded by great people and trained (1 on 1) with an excellent guy with years of experience who helped me all the way and the teacher was also clear, concise and seriously knew his stuff! Cant wait till my next session!

After attempting to phone the academy three times, with no answer or returned phonecalls, weve opted to cancel our childs membership after they continuously used my child as a communication tool to send messages home. I received an email from the studios owner to explain their undeclared membership fee schedule, however never received another email from him after I complained about his staff using my son as a communication tool. I decided to ask various community leaders that I know in the area about Masters Academy and none of it was positive. A lot of previous members call it a money-pit, and a few elderly prominent members of the arts have seen that the owner (Anton) has been known to discuss parents and their parenting skills publicly on his facebook page (Ive also seen various posts for myself negatively addressing parenting decisions and childrens hobbies). After contacting the management company for the Academy Ive been forced to pay for another month to abide by their notice period of one month - another money grab. Id definitely recommend avoiding this studio and looking elsewhere like we are currently - I was also informed that tuition is higher grade and cheaper at another studio which we shall be moving to.

Scarlett (8) and Max (6) have just started at Masters Academy Plymouth. While Scarlett was straight in there, meeting new friends and enjoying every second of learning martial arts, Max was very nervous and afraid of starting a new adventure, as he is with anything new. Without the excellent and caring attention of the coaches he would not have stuck it out and realised how much he really loves it. Cannot say enough good things about the academy and how much confidence and excitement it has already generated, an dthe difference we can already see! Special thanks to coach Mike, Rik and Andy for being so fantastic with them.

My son absolutely loves his taekwondo lessons and coaching Andy is brilliant with the children and my son looks forward to going every week.

Really friendly and welcoming with brilliant instructors, Id encourage anyone who is interested in giving it a go!
