I love this school. All four of my children have attended this school and love it. There are SO many opportunities for them. My oldest found her love for fashion and design in an ROP course there. My second child played football for Tesoro and loved every bit of it. He also took and ROP course for Sports Medicine, which made him consider a career in that field, because he loved it so much but decided to major in Business Finance instead (less schooling ;) ) My third child is taking as many AP courses he can before he graduates and really appreciates all of the options most of his teachers. My fourth child LOVES the Drama/Theater offerings. Tesoro always puts on fantastic shows and my daughter loves to be involved in them. As a parent, I appreciate all the school does to prepare our kids for college and careers. Many colleges come to the school, so the students can ask questions and get information. Tesoro also helps students pick colleges that best fit their interests and major, the school helps with the college application process, essay writing, financial aid and scholarship information, SAT and ACT test prep, career help, etc. I am so thankful for our high school.

The absolute worst school. First of all, there is no parking, only having a limited amount of spots which they raffle off to the students. The students who are lucky enough to get a parking pass are then forced to pay for it (yes, forced to pay for parking at a public school). On the other hand, the students without passes have to wake up before the sun at 5 am to get a spot on the hill. Along with this, if a student without a parking pass doesn’t get to school early enough (again, around 5:30 in the morning) and can’t find parking on the hill (which is also they’re only exit and entrance, causing hours of traffic to get to school and leave) the student has no other choice but to park in one of the lots, then the student is given a parking violation for not having a pass and given a parking ticket. Yes, a real parking ticket in which the staff calls the police department to come down to the school in order to give the kids parking tickets. This makes absolutely no sense at all considering it’s the schools fault for not providing enough parking spots for their students and yet they are fining them for coming to school anyways. These issues need to be talked about more since these children are literally being fined to go to school and missing hours of sleep. The school and staff is an absolute joke.

Tesoro is terrible I have to wake up at 5am if I want to get a parking spot. It’s ridiculous that I have to get to school over 2 hours before the start of school. This is all because Tesoro thought it would be a great idea to replace most of the parking spots by the track with new portables. During school the on campus officer enjoys spending his time writing tickets for cars parked at Tesoro with tinted windows

The best school In terms of academics, Performing Arts, and athletics. How can you top how many CIF titles Tesoro has, not to mention the national ranking for education within the hundreds, and receiving the Grammy Award for best Orchestra and Band group for a highschool. With the best teachers and staff youll ever meet. Also the campus being one of the best looking Ive seen around.
