I was wolfpack graduation of 1.1.2006 a great turning point in my life

I’m sad to say My daughter went here and I had to pick her up right at 1week. This place is so horrible, now I do understand that this is not the program for everyone but no one should get the treatment that they are giving out to these kids. These kids are living in a building that should not even be open. There is so many things kept quiet. So many things these kids are being kept from doing. They bathroom privileges are ridiculous. There is so much I can say about this place. The recruiter lied just to get a count. So sad. Praying they redo the people and training because I do know people that have success but they all say it wasn’t like this. I only put one star because you have to otherwise they would get none from me

As a Cadet at Lincolns Challenge Academy I had many experiences.I was in trouble constantly in the beginning because I was trying to get myself kicked out. What I didnt expect was the constant support and commitment of one individual as a lieutenant. His name in the beginning was Lt. Lowe. At the end the cadets of team two knew him as Captain Lowe.He was my role model and continues to be because he said something that hit me hard and made me want to do my best in everything I did at Lincolns Challenge academy. Some hated him, some liked him but I look up to him. As a leader and the first real father figure in my life. Thank you Captain Jeremy Lowe for pushing me to be more. Without you I would have never graduated.

Greetings, I’m Cory Daniels, & proud to say, I’m Team 8, Class of 1996-97...@ 40 years of age now...LCP has stuck with me...I must admit I got into more trouble later in my mid 20’s but the discipline from LCP was always buried in me. I’ve now become a model employee for a major commercial Airline in California & I owe a major part of my success to LCP. God bless all the Sergeants & funding from the state Illinois.

I was on Team 3 Wolfpack. We started the Wolfpack movement class 12/99 ..I personally tag the wall in the Dayroom Wolfpack. When we started it was LCP not LCA. It helped me alot with getting my life on the right track. Today I own a property management company and Im a Hvac Installer/tech 18 years and counting.

I had a good experience here it helped me grow and learn to take care of myself and appreciate a lot!

Good old LCA. I graduated in, I believe, December of 2006. Team 5 wolfpack all day lol. Anyway, at 16 years old this program was a godsend. It was just another notch on the belt of things in life that have made me mentally strong. Im 29 now, and I still feel proud including LCA on my resume. I won numerous awards for my academics, I was LaVant Guard, did community service, you name it. I always wish I could remember all of my team leaders names. I only remember SSGT Snow because he was an airborne ranger and he couldnt wait to take us outside and PT us whenever he felt like it. That damn ranger banjo haha. He was a bad man no lie. I remember the faces of all the rest, but just cant recall the names smh. I made good friends here and overall it was a great experience, I got into the best shape of my life.. something that Ive been able to continue ever since. Being 16 at the time, I had plans to go to the military and when I hit 17 my parents signed all the necessary forms and whatnot.. I enlisted in the navy to be a turbine mechanic, with plans on trying out for the SEALs when I reached my 20s. As good as LCA was at shaping character, my immaturity still shone through. The day I swore in in front of the flag and was supposed to ship off to great lakes, I tested positive for marijuana. Needless to say, my military dreams were crushed by my own young foolishness but life is still great. I wasnt able to become a mechanic in the navy, but Ive still been an industrial mechanic for years now. To this day, I still incorporate the things I learned at LCA in my daily life. It was truly a great program. I lost my class ring in 2010 and as soon I get done typing this, Im going to see if getting a replacement is possible.

Im proud of my son for having courage, remaining strong and continuing attending LCA 2019. Its takes alot of strength and courage for parents to allow our children to leave our side for 6 months. So mad props to all of us that continues to support our cadets. However, I feel that if there is an medical/dental emergency while attending LCA. I expect all medical staff to treat our children their cadets as their own. So if your child has an dental emergency while attending LCA they should automatically issue an emergency pass to the cadet and family if its out of their scope of practice not wait until the weekend is over. As nurse in the medical field I know this isnt anyones fault. Its nature and out of our hands. But I expect better communication and more passes/treatment for our children! Just keep in mind well you wait until normal business hours to take your children to get their needs and medical/dental emergency services taken care of? All you hear is excuses that their supervisor is not in until Monday and they are not allowed to approval the leave! They should have a physician/supervisor on call 24/7 Im so disappointed in the medical team! What a shame!

MY SON WILL STAY AN FINISH THIS SO IT CAN DISCIPLINE AN STRENGTH HIM THROUGH HIS TEEN YEARS MY SON NEEDS STRUCTURE BRINGS STABILITY TEACHES A PERSON TO BE RESPONSIBLE AND RESPECTFUL PROVING STRUCTURE FOR YOUR KIDS CAN ALSO MEAN CONTROLLING YOUR CHILD BEHAVIOR USEING VARIOUS DISCIPLINE STRATEGIES MY SON NEEDS TO BECOME PRODUCT IN LIFE I DID GIVE MY SON NAURTURE AN STRUCTURE SO I WANT MY SON TO GO TO LINCOLN CHALLENGE AN STAY LONGER THAN 15 DAYS READ WHAT MISISTER LOUISE FARRAKHAN SAY ABOUT DISCIPLINE AN STRUCTURE YES ITS NEEDE IN DAILY LIFE .
