Your early release day policy makes a good economic sense for your company, but this policy is flawed when it comes to non-economic, practical terms for students and parents like me. It seems as though your policy that forces parents to choose an after school care, which starts at 2:25 pm on regular days, to be able to use the service between 11:25 - 2:15 pm on early release days, is driven by economic gains only, and there is little concern for a rational sense. I recommend that you look into this policy with serious consideration and add an option for Champions Care for the time period 11:25 - 2:15 pm on early release days for which you charge an additional $15. This would be beneficial for parents like me who do not use Champions Care on regular days and do not intend to use the care after 2:25 pm on early release days as well.

My brother goes here and his experience is awful with this new program. He has a lot of extracurricular activities and has to complete his homework in the after school program. This wasnt a problem until this program where all kids do is play and are forced to go outside and arent allowed to do homework. I have complained a lot and the staff said they say they will let him to homework but every day he complains that they arent letting him do homework. The after school program has been ruined. Before this year there was the right mix of going outside for recess and working. Now its just kids playing with toys for 3 hours.

Very disappointed that Champions changed their pricing at some point between the start of the school year and now and did not send out any type of notice. See attached documentation of pricing sheet indicating 4-5 days $52 per week (that I printed out at the beginning of the school year). Was surprised to see that I received a $10 charge for the 5th day my son went. When contacting Family Support I was told to look at the website for pricing. I did and low and behold the pricing had changed! (Now 4 days is $52 and 5 days is $62). Never received any notification of such and now they are refusing to refund my $10! This is DISHONEST and not the way to conduct a business. I wish there was another option besides these scammers for childcare after school.On another note, they charge $165 per week in the Summer/ Winter Break/Spring Break! They dont do anything with your children, except throw on a movie, very little time outside. City of Reno Vacation Station takes your kids on all types of field trips and have daily planned activities for only $105 per week! Champions is merely a babysitter that sits on the couch, watches TV and eats all your food.
