What a wonderful experience at this school. I have had both of my children here and they have really blossomed under the care here. All of the teachers are caring and supportive. I have nothing bad to say about our 5 years at Caughlin.

We absolutely love Caughlin Preschool! We live in South Reno and it takes us approximately 30 min to get our boys to school every morning. But the school absolutely worth the drive. Top notch from the owner throughout the entire staff. From toddler to private kindergarten, all the teachers are great! The curriculum are outstanding and my kids have learned so much at expressing their thoughts and feelings. I couldnt be any happier! Thank you so much for everything you do!

Caughlin Preschool is a wonderful place with education and structure for your child. The whole team at this school puts in efforts to connect with you each and every day to make sure you know how the day was for your child while away. Theyre great at making sure you have knowledge of improvement or needs that may occur as well. The learning curve for my son has been significant since attending Caughlin Preschool and continues to grow academically. I dont have enough good things to say about this school so if you get a chance to have you child attend, take that opportunity. You wont regret it.

Caughlin has been great so far. We entered our 3yo son and 2yo daughter there in October, 2018. My daughter got real sick the first week, but it hasnt happened since. Getting occasional illnesses is probably expected from a day care. Stephanie, Savannah, Britney, Sophia, and Heather were always very caring. My son really likes his new teachers Ms. Naomi and Leah. Ms. Myra is very kind too. Everyone seems to enjoy what they are doing. A+

Summer Camp was great and the kids had a good time. Love that you went to Sand Harbor! Teachers always great throughout the year and the attention they always gave the kids was appreciated. Thanks for everything. :)

Our time at Caughlin has been great! Hazel was comfortable, very quickly, which was really appreciated. We really liked the structure of the classroom and the openness of Myra to discuss any concerns. Thanks for everything!

The owner-VERY RUDE! Assistant direct, shes OK; more real than the owner. My step-son got removed from the school with no warning. They said they talked to his mother, he has a father who is very involved and there was no communication with both parents equally as to the situation that caused them to remove him. We still are unsure the real reason he was no longer allowed to go to school there.Other parents were concerned with his behavior; and on paper there were provisions for outside agency help, but there was never follow through. There were meetings requested by myself, his father and biological mother, no follow through. The teachers rarely could answer questions about his day, his daily sheets were rearely completed in their entirety and initially I attempted to reach out to the owner via their website email, waited for an appropriate amount of time for a response and heard nothing from them.I called, asked specific questions and because she didnt want to answer questions she said she was not able to speak with me as I was only the step-parent. The step-parent can pay the bill, but cant be given information about the behavior and reason for that said behavior having a 2 year old expelled from school. I kept asking the same questions, I received the same blanket answers and eventually she hung up on me.I am a certified educator in elementary education; over 12 years in a preschool setting and for as much as the school charges the lack of communication between the staff and parents is unreal.I would hate to think that for reasons of my step sons mother receiving childrens cabinet or him being one of the few non-white students at the school there is some sort of prejudice. I do not know if this information will be helpful to anyone, but I would advise for parents looking at this school for care of there child to ask questions and move slowly. Document every converstation, situation..EVERYTHING.

My daughter has been going there for just over a month and we are so happy with the teachers, she is doing great, she loves it!

I cant imagine in my wildest dreams how anyone could say anything mean about Joanne or Caughlin Preschool.We had our little girl at Goddard school and due to an injury she had at 6 months old to her head she was not able to speak so they became frustrated with her and told us we had to take her somewhere else. She was about 4 then. We were devastated and because her Mom is losing her eye sight I had to drive her 30 minutes back and forth each day to Sparks to go to KinderCare. They were wonderful, but there is no one to compare to Caughlin.Caughlin was full when we first tried to take her there, they are close to our home and I had heard rave reviews from several friends so we kept trying. Finally sweet Myra with the spirit of an angel found a place for her. I swear that day the angels were singing because it has changed all of our lives forever.Miss Lynette and Miss Michelle became her teachers. I tease them and tell them I want to look to see where their angel wings are hidden. They nurtured our child so much that she not only started talking but she is at the head of her class in everything. At 5 years old she is speaking perfectly, she knows most everything her older brother does in second grade. She sings all of the alphabet speaks Spanish beautifully and knows all her numbers. Miss Lynette was always so proud to show us her amazing progress. Our little girl is now sparkling. We decided to keep her at Caughlin for Kindergarten because we love everything about Caughlin and every teacher there is so supportive. We transferred our boy from Goddard to Caughlin for the wonderful summer camp they offer and now keep him in the after school program there. He loves Caughlin so much he talked his best friend into changing to Caughlin too.Back to Joanne, I feel certain that the reason Caughlin is so awesome is due to her care and guidance. She treats my entire family with so much love and respect. She has told me several times when I have thanked her for all they do that they love our children. I actually know they do. Our children have bloomed under their care. I walk away every day feeling safe and secure knowing that my grandchildren are getting the best care they could possibly get. If there was a way to give an award for child care I feel certain that Caughlin from Joanne to Myra to all the teachers would win hands down. The teachers there make us all feel like family and they give us peace in our hearts every day when we drop our children off with themI am updating this review now because our little girl just got her end of Kindergarten review and I must say I had tears in my eyes as I spoke with her teacher, Miss Mandy. She is now functioning at a high first grade level and you would never know she has had any trauma in her life.Her pre-first grade review just made me realize even more how amazing that Caughlin has been for our children and our family.We could not be happier with Caughlin and all the teachers there. Miss Joanne, Miss Tammy, Miss Myra, Miss Mandy, Miss Maddison, Miss Alysa and each and every other teacher we have met there fits into this review. They are the very best you could possibly hope for. Your children will flourish, bloom and grow with the nurturing care they get each and every day.I simply love each and every one, starting with Miss Joanne. I feel certain that any negative reviews that have been written were from someone who either did not pay their fees or they had to have asked for something unreasonable, because these are the most genuinely caring group that I have ever encountered.
