They did a great job with my color! My curly hair had a really thick part and she fixed that so it looks good too. They are good about listening to what I need.

I love everyone who works here! I’ve gotten cuts and color both done here and I always go home loving my hair. The students here also work very very hard!

I have fine naturally curly hair and its a challenge to get an up to date flattering look. She gave me a great style that I havent had before. Instructors were attentive but gave her enough space to still function independently. Everyone was polite and friendly. I will definitely be back and hope that I can, shes a keeper!

This place is awesome! I have been to other beauty schools in the past, and I have to say that this is the most professional academy I have ever been to. Sydney did an awesome job on my hair. The instructors were great. The location is very convenient for me. And I will definitely be going again!

Everybody was super friendly, this was my first time getting my hair done here and giving these girls the chance to practice and get the experience they need. My tech was awesome, she explained everything she was doing and her instructors were always there supervising her work, that made me feel comfortable and I would definitely come back. Great job!!!

I really liked my tech she was very helpful about what type of conditioner and shampoo to use for my hair. She always told me what she was doing and told me step by step. They always told what type of temperature my water could be and asked how hot my blow dryer and had if I was tender headed. Those thing were very helpful.

I had a great time today getting my hair cut here! I was able to get an appointment the same day. Due to the length of time it took and the attention from teachers, I don’t think this place often does men’s haircuts, but they did a great job. I had a super senior working with me, and during the process I had three teachers come up and check out what was happening and teach some techniques. I will say, my appointment in total was about an hour and a half, which is longer than my previous haircut times, but I enjoyed the opportunity to provide a learning experience for my hairdresser.

Absolutely in love with ABC beauty school and everyone there! The owner did such an amazing job with my color, cut, and blow dry! The receptionist fit me in before my leave out of town. I studied in this academy and graduated 2018. This academy I would 100% recommend it. The school is very nice and clean. The school gives the material to learn and study. Overall very good professors and staff, they are all dedicated to their students and truly want to help them succeed. They are up to date with their material in teaching, it is worth the price.

I started at this school online on March 2. I told Kaler that I had a degree and could not receive financial aid she insisted that I start and that I would be able to get financial aid. She let me attend for over 3weeks and then stated I don’t qualify for financial duh I told you that and not only that financial aid sent her the SAR report on the 3rd of March that stated student doesn’t qualify for financial aid do to student already having a degree. She then stated I can withdraw and she will give me the hours I earned with no charge if I withdraw the same day she spoke with me I agreed then when I get up there she didn’t want to give me the hours we talked about. She also stated I could stay in the program and be on the same payment schedule as financial aid which consisted of $3000 down and another $3000 once I reached 450 hours and then the remainder once I reached 900 hours. I’m like financial aid doesn’t even pay until student reach 450 hours. I informed her that I could do reasonable monthly payments but not $3000 payments. She declined. I also asked if she ever sent my info to TDLR because I should’ve received permit by now she never sent over anything remind you I paid for student permit and photo for the permit. She was like no I didn’t send anything over I will give you the online fee back and it will be like you never attended my school. Straight BS. I don’t know Kaler the owner, director or whoever she is just left a bad taste in my mouth I wouldn’t recommend anyone attend school here. She doesn’t honor her word or take accountability of her actions at all. She is very pushy and all about money don’t waste your time. I already filed a complaint with TDLR and about to start the process of suing because I wasted time and had to start all over again at another cosmetology school.

I went to this school 5/22/2021 to apply for the manicurist program and start on June 1 because the website shows classes start the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. So I completed all my paperwork and arrive on June 1st for my first day and the building is closed so I call the owner, Kayla, to figure out what is going on and she said they were closed that day in observance of Memorial Day. No one told me that they would be closed and the paperwork I signed showed June 1st as my start date. So I explained I didn’t think that was very fair to me as a new student and she just tried to rush me off the phone first saying she was with family and then saying she was sick and would speak to me the next day. I asked if there was any way I can make up some hours since I did try to get to class that day and it wasn’t my fault I was not informed the building would be closed but she continued to be dismissive and just say come back tomorrow. So I go back today June 2nd and she is not there so I tell the people who are there I was supposed to start yesterday so today is my first day. They couldn’t find anything with my name on it so they called Kayla and she said she would be there in ten minutes because she had to redo my paperwork. So I spoke to her while she was on the phone and I asked why my paper work had to be redone and she said I will have to start later in the month. So the paperwork I did was a waste of time I guess. While waiting for her to arrive, I asked her while she was on the phone if I was even enrolled or not because it didn’t seem like my paperwork was valid any more and she refused to answer any questions I had but told me to just wait until she got there. So when she got there I decided I would rather try out a different program because this one had been pretty ridiculous just trying to start up. I then asked for my fee back for applying and for a photo and she wrote out and handwritten note saying I needed to sign it stating I got my fees back but when I declined signing a hand written paper she threatened to call the police. So I signed to just get out of there. The reviews were good so this is the last thing I expected when applying for a manicure program. However, Kayla has a terrible attitude and I hope something is done about it. She is a liar and shouldn’t be in charge if this is how she handles people. It’s not fair to students just trying to learn.

Finding the school that is best for obtaining a cosmetology license, can be challenging. I enrolled my daughter into ABC in June 2020, and I truly believe that ABC Academy was and is the best decision. The process was smooth and straightforward. They were very professional, helpful and informative. They were very patient and answered all of our questions thoroughly.

This is a hidden gem! The school has a salon as part of it were the students provide services while getting hours towards their certification. They are amazing! The teachers obviously are exceptional because the students are amazing. The prices for services are extremely reasonable given the top quality the the services provided. A great place and highly recommend it. I’d gladly give it 10 stars if I could.

Absolutely horrible. Showed picture of hair color I was trying to get to. Quoted me incorrectly after going up there to inquire first. I was very distraught as my hair had turned from dark to brass. Kaler told me to come in the next day and she would fix. Next day I arrived and she told me to purchase products and come back to put in my hair! Another individual at the school told me not to pay until it was fixed but Kaler insisted I pay and still has not fixed. She refuses to refund my money. I had good faith the school would help make things right and Kaler has been nothing but unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with. HORRIBLE!

The staff and educators are extremely talented and dedicated to teaching you the ins and outs of the industry. With the education in getting here, I feel like I’ll be more than prepared to take the state board exams. As well as be able to have a successful career and future. The students there are some of the most creative and incredible people I’ve met in a long time.

It’s a beautiful place inside n out.The students are very well trained and there supervisors are always checking to see that the student needs direction or if it’s going great. Either way I trust them. I personally go here to give a student the opportunity to practice on my hair. ABC Beauty Academy has exceeded my expectations as far as cosmetology schools go.The teachers here are amazing and courteous and passionate about what they do. Most importantly, they care about the students and want to make sure their learning needs are met, questions being asked and practice for the real world.

Just call to know see what time you can come in to do something specific. I have been here several times for cuts colors and even pedicures, the prices are really good because its a school but the students have always done a good job.

Worst place to ever go to get your hair done. I came to this location the black lady was very nice and friendly. But when I called on the phone the lady that answer told me to wash and shampooing hair and trem was $7 I was shock anyway I came in and they say no it actually $35... so am like okay....and she ask if anyone wanted to do my hair all the student who were Chinese or asians dont know the difference anyway they just sat there looking confuse and did not know what to do. They dont know how to do hair at all!!! Worst place to go to get anything done. wasted my time and gas coming down here. Terrible!!!!

Good place to get my hair colored for a cheap price. I was disappointed with the Nexgen nails though, they fell off after a few days.

Awful...I went in to have my daughters hair colored AS THEY ADVERTISE, and the lady said she didnt have the color, so we left and bought it. When we got back she stared at the products and hair for an unusual amount of time then kept asking if thats what we wanted, or just wanted bleach. Needless to say we both began to feel uncomfortable. twenty minutes of staring and we walked out. MAJOR disappointment. Waste of time!

No, Save Your $. Rare I give a bad review. Just to Wash my daughters hair, $16.00 (shoulder length or longer adds $4.00)$12 to wash mine, using Cheap Dollar store products, that are kept in their car. Lady doing mine had No experience with Shampoo, should have practiced on staff, family. We were the only customers, 7 female stylist, the two the teacher picked out didnt want to get off their phones, mine said her husband wanted her to come home to cook and was thinking it all over. I like giving a person experience, but I didnt have any confidence in the teacher. Shampoo is basic, even if you just came here from a place where they cant buy shampoo, the teacher should gave them practice on each other, when I suggested that, she said, oh no we dont waste our time. We didnt stay for the cut, ran out of time, teacher talked about it almost an hour and they charged more than all the salons in my area, buy charging for everything: Shampoo, Conditioner, cut, blow dry or set, combing it out or styling. There was an uneasiness with we, assume the real owners, or silent partners two older Asian men sitting in the shampoo chairs in the back going over ledgers. Like other cash businesses, i.e., nail salons in my neighborhood, it just didnt feel legit- I think the students and clients are mislead- they claim *All services are performed by SeniorTrainees under Instructor supervision, yet the lady shampooing my hair, never did it before and I dont think they want clients or else they wouldnt charge more than Regular Salons, except for color...
