My daughter has attended Ivy Kids Long Meadow Farms, and we certainly recommend this daycare. The owner, Ana, has been open to feedback and goes above and beyond to resolve any issues that may arise. My daughter has learned a great deal from Ms. Bonner and enjoyed going to school each day. We are thankful to have Ivy Kids, as a safe place, for our child to learn and grow.

Ivy Kids Infant class is so great! The teachers are so good with our daughter, she is so happy to see them every day. And they work with each kid individually each day on the learning activity. You can tell they are so passionate about caring for the kids.

I highly recommend Ivy Kids ELC of Long Meadow Farms to any parent, but especially to those parents who have children with special needs. My son, Aries, was born as a micropreemie and for the first two years of his life, I kept him in isolation due to his medical fragility. In addition to his status as a preemie, he was also diagnosed with many medical challenges including cerebral palsy. When the time came to select a daycare for him, finding a campus that would embrace him for who he is and not view him as a burden was naturally a priority. Thanks to my colleague, Rebecca Farnham, we found the perfect fit.Not only was my son welcomed with open arms, but the staff continues to amaze me with how much effort they put in to making sure that he is included in every activity and that his needs are accommodated. They even allow him to receive his therapy services on campus during the school day - a privilege that their local area competitors DO NOT offer. When my son wakes up every morning and I ask him if he is ready to go to school, he always gives me the brightest smile because he knows he is going somewhere he is loved and adored. And that is not just an assumption, it is a proven fact. Over the Labor Day weekend, when Aries was hospitalized for a medical emergency, Darius, the director, not only FaceTimed us to check on both of us, but he also shared with us the dozens of messages of prayers that were exchanged between the entire campus personnel for Aries to get well. And when Aries returned to campus that next week, he was welcomed with so much love and the most thoughtful Get Well card. These actions that were taken completely outside of work hours prove that the hearts of the staff are in the right place and that although they are in the business of children, the children are their top priority.

We started at Ivy with our oldest child this past summer and she loves going and really enjoys the teachers! I recently put our 3 month old in Ivy and the staff and director made the transition very smooth for us and our son. We really have nothing but great things to say about Ivy Kids Long meadow! I feel great returning to work knowing they are being cared for in a safe and fun environment.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Ivy Kids. My son has been there since he was 6 months old and he’s now almost 4 years old. He enjoys going to school everyday and learning the awesome curriculum! He loves the director Mr. Darius and all his teachers. Mr. Darius is always kind, informative and is attentive to any concerns we may have. We couldn’t ask for a better school for our son!!

We love Ivy Kids Long Meadows! We have been going for a little over two months now. We moved from another Ivy Kids in Cypress. We decided to stay in the Ivy Kids because we know the curriculum is wonderful. My son’s academic/social/emotional development has greatly increased after being at Ivy. Ana (the Director) really has the best staff. They all seem to love our children so much. Anytime I call with a question/concern they immediately answer it for me. I’ve never had any issues with my kids. The cameras are great and it’s nice to see my children thriving there! The teachers are amazing! Even though I’d love to be home with them, I feel that they are receiving the best care at Ivy Kids LMF.

Ive had a great experience at Ivy Kids LMF since we started in July 2020. My son beams with glee when I drop him off each morning when he sees his teacher, Ms. Carly, the director, Mr. Darius, and/or the other front office team members. This relationship is important to me as a parent and fellow educator. The communication with parents each week is clear and consistent. I love receiving pictures of my son through the app. Overall, we are enjoying our time and look forward to seeing our son grow as a happy boy in a safe environment.

We HIGHLY recommend Ivy Kids LMF! My son has been enrolled since March, and we couldnt have asked for a better school. The curriculum, the staff, teachers, owner and director are AMAZING! My son looks forward to going to school every morning to see his teacher, Ms. Brittany. Not only does the director, Darius, create a fun, learning environment for everyone, but he goes above and beyond for his staff, students and especially parents. He makes things happen at this school!

My daughter started at Ivy Kids when she was 4 months old. Weve now been here for 7 months, and could not be happier with our decision enroll her at Ivy Kids. Leaving your baby with someone is not an easy thing to do, but it makes it a little easier when you know they are being well cared for. She loves her teachers and the staff at Ivy Kids, always smiling at drop off and pick up! Every day she is learning something new! I love to see pictures of the activities they do everyday, and they always do cute crafts 🙂. We are so thankful to have Ivy Kids be her home away from home!

They sure do love to seem perfect for parents, but I dont recommend you waste your time working for them. I first started when we had a director by the name of Ms. Nancy. She was amazing. Everything was in order and she was fair. She wasnt the type to be fake. She made it clear what her expectations were and didnt cross too far into the personal line. You knew you could joke with her, but everything was all in respect. She didnt make you feel as though you were friends one minute and she was the enemy the next. That being said I worked here for roughly a year and some change with zero complaints from parents and actually prided myself on parents being excited to drop their babies off with me. We got a new director and everything was great in the beginning, but as covid hit us, we started running into issues that I didnt really pay too much mind to, but recently Ive run into hard times and addressed them with my director in confidence because I believed he cared about his staff like family. I was led to believe that despite my diagnosis of depression, he would work with me as I went forth on medication and a little more knowledge on the power of God. (And let me tell you right now you would never know I was depressed because I always had a smile on my fac He told me if I ever needed time to regroup and wanted to take a day or 2 off, I could do that. He said if I ever work a day and need to take the rest of the day off, I can do that, but I always made sure to soldier through no matter what. I stayed for a few more months before I was kicked to the curb. Why you ask? Was it because you were being disrespectful and belligerent? Was it for not doing my job? Was it for complaints from parents? Was it because of something with the kids in my care? No,no and no. I told this man I had another job from the first day we met and had a chat. I am a dance instructor parttime. I also have a trip in a few weeks that I let him know about a month in advance. On the day he fired me he was so cold to me. Smh. I got a call on THURSDAY from my other boss letting me know I had a class to teach on Monday. Ive barely worked that job for months and I cant control when my employer decides to give me critical information. That Thursday I decided the best thing for me would be to do parttime. I thought it wouldnt be a big deal considering all the bs I was told. Immediately after it was brought up I got a A okay. I was thrilled and planned to have a covid test made later the following week because my sister informed me it was a mandatory task for our travels or I wouldnt be permitted in the country. I look at my phone during the weekend and decide to message the director on our school app and notice messages that I didnt recieve. Apparently I wasnt approved for parttime and needed a 2 week notice because theyre too cheap to hire more people when we are struggling. There is nothing I could of done in those situations. Karma is real though.

My 2 1/2 year old son loves his new preschool! He’s been to several other preschools in the past but this has been the best yet. He’s always excited to go to school and see the staff! Ms. Ana and Ms. Ashley are amazing! So sweet and caring! We are greeted every morning when we walk in by the front office staff. Very nice ladies! Our son enjoys going to school and learning. We often see him on the cameras hugging his teachers. Whom might I add are the absolute best ladies ever! He is truly happy here and we couldn’t have asked for a better family! Thank you to everyone at Ivy Kids!

We have always enjoyed Ivy Kids. However, when the new director Darius Austin started things went from ok to fantastic!! Before he started, there was a time my husband and I discussed pulling our daughter out. But once Darius started, shortly before the covid pandemic, things made a drastic change for the better. He was organized with getting information out; he held one on one meetings with parents to discuss any issues or changes. And in the midst of the covid pandemic he made sure to keep us all very well informed of updates and changes to policies as well as implementing stricter cleaning regimens in order to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and staff. Every time my daughter walks in, he makes her feel like she is the most important kid in the world (I have seen how he does this for all kiddos - it always puts a smile on my daughters face!) all of the staff are very friendly and welcoming when you walk in. I have to say without a doubt, I now know this is the place I want her to be!

We have had a little girl “3 months” at ivy kids for a little while now. And I love everything about the school. Me and my Wife have no regrets when we drop her off every morning to head off to work. The staff is very friendly and always there with a smile. Our teacher Ms. Nora is a pleasure to be around and makes our daughter feel right at home there. I recommend this school at the highest and if there was away to give it ten stars I would!!!!!

Ivy Kids has been the best school for my son since we moved to Richmond!! We left his previous daycare because he was always getting sick and would cry when it was time for drop off. Ivy Kids is super clean and always smells good which lets me know someone is constantly cleaning. My son loves all his teachers and looks forward to going to school everyday (even Saturdays). It’s also nice to see the owner on site on a regular basis. It shows Mrs. Ana cares about what is going on at her school. She is so nice and impressively knows the kid’s and parent’s names. If your looking for a clean daycare with loving teachers who are interested in enriching children’s education....Ivy Kids is the place for you!

My son has been going here since they opened. The staff is great and show that they care and love all of their students. His teachers, Ms. Carly and Ms. Noelia, are beyond amazing. They make it a point to learn their students and show passion for what they do. It feels great seeing my son reach out for them (to hold him) or go to them when he sees them. The classrooms are big and the curriculum is well-rounded and age-appropriate. I love it when I pick up a stack of art work that hes done throughout the week! Best feeling for a mom! The school also has a calendar of events for every month, such as Parents Night Out and Ice Cream Day and I hope they continue to add more. My son is only a toddler so I look forward to continuing his education there until he attends elementary school.

I was trying to set up an appt to visit, I am due to have my first . I spoke to someone a few weeks ago and thought I had an appt. When I called to confirm my appt time I was told very abruptly I could just walk in whenever. I said ok thank you so much and then she just hung up without saying goodbye or anything. Your staff might want to rethink their phone skills if you want to gain new enrollment. I dont even want to visit now and you have lost a potential client.

Ivy Kids of Long Meadow Farms is by far the best childcare center I have toured and utilized for my son. This is the 3rd learning center that we have changed for my one year old, however, this is the perfect place until he goes to elementary school! The facility is brand new, clean, and welcoming. The front desk staff is always friendly and inviting, the directors (Jessica & Angela) are both wonderful and experienced. The owner (Ana) is on site daily and works well with the parents and staff. I cant be happier than this. Miss Carly and Noelia in the older infant room are very experienced and love the kids. They are teaching the kids more than what I expected a one year old would learn. I love having access to the camera in his room via the WatchMeGrow app to keep checking on him throughout the day.I consider myself picky parent that nitpick on anything, yet I can attest that Ivy Kids of LMF is a wonderful childcare center!

Updated Review:6/8/18*Noelia and Milagros are still the teachers*New education directorThe facility is nice and always clean. The front office staff is kind.. I have had an on going issue with a specific teacher (Milagros) in Infant B room (began after complaining about her aggressiveness with all the children). After voicing my complaint of the attitude I receive from her every time I drop off or pick up my daughter, continuously scolding my daughter even if the incident was not her fault, mysteriously misplacing her nap time items, and talking to me in a disrespectful manner, nothing was changed other than receiving documentation that my daughter bit a child. It seems they are doing things here and there in order to cover themselves i.e. sending pics of the teacher interacting with her and writing an incident report that my daughter has bit someone (coincidently outside where only the teachers can see it). I know at this age children bite and of course it is not right if this is true. I do not recommend if your child is at infant age. As far as if they are older, I cant say. I can say that I do not like how my complaint was handled. I will say this, if you do enroll your child, please take the time to watch the camera and follow your gut no matter how well versed administrative staff is. If you do decide to withdraw your child. You have to give a two week notice or you will owe the daycare. It is $260 a week for a 12-18 month old.Past Review:3/19/2018My daughter is going on her 3rd week here. Angela, the director is very knowledgeable and well informed on child development. She is very sweet and will take time out of her day to talk to you. Ana, the owner, is very sweet and I love her attitude around the kids. Jessica, the admissions director, is very sweet and personable.Noelia, seems sweet. I love how I can view my daughter via app or web address. They even send a couple of pics along with your childs daily report. The facility is always clean and organized. I have really enjoyed the experience so far.
