Im a black belt in Brazilian jiujitsu and just by watching they train the kids taekwondo and adults was very impressive and professional I truly recommend also 100% the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program with professor James Markle extraordinary teacher.

Learning BJJ under coach Markle has been an awesome experience. We have the whole family attending his classes, my young ones love it! They learn while playing. The adult classes are also great, get a good workout while learning to defend your self. Coach Markle is legit, he keeps putting what he teaches to the test as he continues to compete in tournaments. I highly recommend his classes.

Professor Markle comes from a great and respected lineage. Place is like my second home and theyve become Ohana. It was hard to find a new place to start training again due to ever changing teams in Houston. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The team of instructors and different styles makes for a very unique style of BJJ. They have former wrestlers and Judo players so the additional instruction is superb. Im glad to call this my home after being there for a year.

Professor Markle is an amazing instructor and an amazing dude. He knows his stuff, cares about all the minute details, and he is extremely patient with ALL of his levels of students. Ive felt welcome since day one and it is one of several reasons why I keep coming back to train. The types and quality of coaches that help out with instruction is second to none as well. Coach Chris, Coach Scott, and Coach James F. are all great and supportive coaches as well. If youre looking for a place to train or are just curious about BJJ I highly recommend Markle BJJ. Wonderful gym! Whether your new to BJJ or very experienced, I highly recommend this gym and the instructors. From white belt to Black belt, gi or nogi, if you want to train for self-defense or competition, everyone there will help you reach your goals. Very welcoming and supportive atmosphere .

Great place with great people. They are very patient and will work with you no matter your fitness or skill level. They are very knowledgeable and break down techniques in simplistic, easy to understand ways. I will definitely be going back.

James is a great coach. Ive known James for several years now and I am always impressed at his ability to coach to the level of whoever is training. He is great about pushing people when he needs to and being understanding when people arent always there. Hes built a tight-knit community that is always looking to expand.If you are looking for a place to train BJJ I highly recommend Markle BJJ.

James is a very good teacher for BJJ. With this martial arts in particular. You need a trainer that stresses good technique from the very begggining and someone that will be concern for his students good health. Professor James does both without fail, every single class.
