This school is amazing. I feel some dont know how good they have it, but not all schools having caring teachers that go the extra mile for the kids (some do, but Pocahontas really goes well above). Ms. Sigler does an awesome job knowing the students in her school, as well as the parents. I consider myself and my boys blessed to have attended such a great school.Keep up the good work Pocahontas.

It has been a really nice school for me. The teachers truly care about the children not just as students but as individuals. Occurrences if bullying are rare and dealt with quickly and efficiently. This is a positive place to learn.

When i first went to Pocahontas i was like were are all the black kids. But then i noticed that didnt matter. There are so many fun activities you can attend. The princeable is the best I love her so much! you will face annoying people, fake people and snitches but other then that what a great school.

Pocahontas is not the worse school. but its pretty bad. Last year I was hit in the face by a jock and the principle didnt do anything about it, so my mom had to call the police. She tried to file a police report, but of course he was too young so they let him off with a warning. Mr. Milcarek and Mr. Lampman were my favorite teachers, those two teachers and my TRUE friends are the only reason why I would want to come back.

I dont think there should be homework that is required to be done and will be an NTI (0) in the gradebook when you dont complete it. Why? Because there is too much homework. I feel like some teachers want there kids to do homework so they have something to do when they get home. But there is so much of it! Sometimes I have to wake up at like 4:30 A.M. to finish it before school starts. Not only do teachers give out lots of homework, but it put some students into a bad cycle. Lets have an example. Lets say that you are coming home from school in October realizing that there is so much homework needed to get done that night. So you stay up until 12:30 A.M. being like, yay I finally completed it! But then you only get under 6 hours of sleep. So then, youre going to school, tired the next day, feeling like it is hard to get your work done in school. So then you may have work that was unable to be completed plus the homework you need to complete that day. Then when you come home from school that day, not only being tired, but also having a truckload of work you need to do that night. What do you do then at that point? Take an NTI? There needs to be a solution its too much. Plus, you shouldnt have to worry about all of the homework you need to do when you get home from school. You should be able to have free time as well like playing basketball, going to the pool (may - june), or even playing a little FoRTNiTe. The point is there should be a limit on the amount of homework given to us during the school year. Thats the main reason some kids struggle at this Middle School. The staff at the school however, are very nice. They do care about the students. The building is nice too. the gym and the cafeteria are both huge and the classrooms are fair sizes. Its not a bad school, but its hard for some students to survive and adapt. I think my three stars make sense. (And summer reading is also a little ridiculous.)

Ummmm, this school was pretty fun to go to but when I think about high school, this school has not prepared me for the classes I am taking next year as much as I would have liked it to.

I LOVE POCAHONTAS SM!!! Its such a fun school! All of the teachers make it so fun to be around and they put a lot of time and effort into planning activities for us. i love all of the teachers. having 2 brothers that went to poca is awesome cuz a lot of my teachers know me really well so i connect with them. anyways i love poca:))))

I cant play minecraft event tho its supposed to be an extra credit assignment to build a battle from ww1 or ww2 (or something like that, i cant remember) in social studies and theres way too much homework for me to be able to do things I want. When the bell rings, the school day supposed be done. Dont give me frikin school work to do outside of school retards.

WORST SCHOOL EVA! I was eating lunch and then everything fell over and then i got attacked by 7 chickens and then i ate a chicken that tasted bad and then i got typhoid and i also do not like the bee movie it is not a funny movie and all the jokes go over kids heads and jerry seinfeild should never ever make another kids movie and also i was taking my dog for a walk and then he peed on a fire hydrant and i was like lol my mom just vandalized some dude but then king henry died unexpectedly drinking chocolate milk. Great school been here from 2011-2014 and going to godwin high school for 2014-2018 and what i gotta say about pocahontas is the its a great school and their will be the annoying sixth graders that think their all that it is a great school our principle mrs sigler is amazing she is kind,funny,awesome hope that my high school principle will be the same their is only a few bullys here but their not a problem alot of kids are afraid to tell the teacher if they do they would be labeled as snitch(my own personal expirice)this school luch isnt that bad they have chinkin burgurs with a mini subway and fries,pizza,taco salad not that great but its ok.i will mis it here the teachers here are nice the only teacher that was not really that nice what my 8th grade english teacher Ms.Martin
