Great place for a beginner with very engaging and patient teacher. The pace is of the lessons is always tailored to the attendants and the location is just right for dancing.I have no complaints, excellent experience.

Karmin is an incredible dance instructor. I have worked with 3 different instructors in the past and Karmin is extremely thorough and detailed oriented. She helps clean up my steps and styling and I enjoy her private and group lessons. She is also very affordable too.

Karmin is my dance instructor and has been for the last 6 months. With her supervision, I advanced from afraid of dancing to fun gentleman to dance with and on to confident social dancer. I no longer feel a need to begin a dance with an apology. And it is now fun to ask strangers to dance. Karmin has consistently done an incredible job of breaking dance steps down into their components and helping me understand how everything fits together. She explains things in ways that make sense. Karmin teaches in 2 locations. The Troy location features a huge dance floor with excellent-for-music acoustics --a basketball court! As more people are attending her classes here, the wisdom in having a space this big becomes more apparent: We can have lots of people AND social distance AND dance in a not-crowded space AND clearly hear the music and the instructor AND have fun. Karmin has taught me dances including the Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Hustle, Nightclub 2-Step, Rumba, East Coast Swing, American Tango, and Waltz.

Today we had our first private lesson with Karmin and we were very impressed. She is very patient and was great at adjusting her teaching based on our level of experience (which was 0) including our ability to catch on. The pricing was very fair considering her level of experience and thoroughness. We had so much fun and cant wait to learn more at our next lesson. Highly recommended!

A Fantastic Instructor, Karmin is truly passionate about dance as well as knowledgeable. Her expertise shows as my fiance and I have seen vast improvements in our dancing abilities in a short amount of time. I had a great experience at Ballroom Sensation! I have never had a dance lesson before and did not know what to expect. It was a very laid back atmosphere and the lesson went at a pace that was appropriate for me. I learned several basic dances and now feel much more comfortable on the dance floor. I cannot dance! Or so I thought, for my entire life I have been uncoordinated, awkward and had no confidence when it came to dancing.
